Chapter 112: Gone Berserk
*ROAAAR*
Nonetheless, a shallow cut is still a cut and although tough, the orc still felt pain. It roared in rage as it turned around to look at the human who inflicted a shallow cut on its back.
Immediately after seeing Siegfried, the orc’s furious eyes locked onto him as it vengefully chopped its axe downward in an attempt to slash Siegfried in half.
‘Shit, it’s fast!’
*CLANG*
“Puhahhkk…” Siegfried spat out blood. He slightly underestimated the dexterity of the orc and was forced to block its attack head-on.
Fortunately, the next attacker, Izanagi, was there to bail him out. Ian appeared behind the orc using his skill, [Blink Strike Lv.3] and stabbed the orc’s neck with his dagger.
*SPURT*
‘Shit! How the hell can flesh be this tough?!’ Izanagi thought to himself as his dagger failed to stab deep into the orc’s neck.
Still, the neck is a vital part and although the damage was minimal, the orc still felt the pain of being stabbed.
*FWOOOSH*
Naturally, the orc tried to retaliate but a scout was way faster than a warrior so the grunt’s axe hit nothing but air as Izanagi somersaulted to dodge its strike.
As Izanagi landed on the ground, the trio of melee attackers formed a triangle with the orc in the middle.
Meanwhile, the ranged attackers finished casting their skills.
From the northwest direction, Harry blasted out a [Fireball Lv.3] while David shot out [Icicle Spear Lv.3] from the southeast, leaving the orc confused which allowed both skills to hit their mark.
*BANG* *SPURT* *SPURT* *SPURT*
*ROAAAAR*
The orc roared in pain as the fireball burnt and bruised its skin while three icicle spears shallowly stabbed its back, the frigidness slowly seeping through its flesh.
Kiin Wujin, naturally wouldn’t let this chance go to waste as he also fired a [Powershot Lv.3] toward the creature’s neck.
*SPURT*
The orc grunt, disoriented, didn’t even detect the incoming arrow as it stabbed quite deep into its neck and it was finally forced to spit out blood.
“Nice, Kiin!” Wendy said as she gave Kiin a thumbs up which made his heart flutter a bit.
‘Damn it! Wendy! Now is not the time to be cute!’ Kiin inwardly thought as he tried his best to focus on the orc grunt.
As for Shye, he had a confident grin on his face as he thought ‘If we can keep this up then we can probably take this guy out.’
Indeed, they had a fairly high chance to defeat this orc grunt unscathed as long as they took their time and coordinated perfectly.
However, the prerequisite was that the comrade of the orc grunt didn’t appear. If it does, then things will get messy.
Realizing it was in a dire situation, the orc chose to go all in, aiming to endure until its comrade took notice of the unfolding battle.
*ROAAAAR*
The orc roared as it charged towards Shye who was planning to take its attack head-on again since Wendy’s strength blessing was still active.
What Shye didn’t expect was, that orcs…were capable of using skills.

The grunt’s lodestone axe lit up as it chopped downwards empowered by the orc’s skill, [Brutish Slash]
‘Shit!’ Shye exclaimed as he hurriedly activated his [Power Slash Lv.3] and brandished his greatswords to block the orc’s attack.
*BANG*
After clashing against the orc’s skill-empowered attack, Shye spat out blood as he was sent flying towards the nearby shrubbery and finally slammed his back into a sturdy tree.
“Crowley!!”
The other party members exclaimed in utter shock and disbelief. This was the first time they saw the top warrior of their academy, Shye Crowley, lose so miserably in a direct clash.
“Focus! Don’t worry about me…I’m fine…Wendy, can you please cast a heal on me?” Shye said in a loud voice as he struggled to stand up.
His internal organs were badly battered in the exchange so he immediately drank a regular health potion and asked for a heal from Wendy.
While Wendy was on the way to heal Shye with the help of [Contact Casting] to amplify its effects, the orc threw caution to the wind as it went crazy on Siegfried, aiming to incapacitate him next.
Fortunately, Siegfried was skilled and although he was unable to deal any damage to the orc while dodging and parrying its blows, the other party members were able to.
Thus, slowly but surely, the grunt’s vitality was whittled down by the Colzen Avengers.
Miraculously, after an hour of intense combat, the orc’s comrade still hasn’t noticed the battle.
Meanwhile, the orc grunt was down to its final reserves of strength and vitality as it panted in exhaustion, its body, extremely bloodied.
The Colzen Avengers’ teamwork was impeccable leaving no room for the orc to finish off even a single one of them.
However, the orc grunt refused to go down easily so it activated its last resort skill, [Berserk].
It already gave up on its life and instead, it vowed to take at least one human down with it.
*ROAAAAAR*
A resounding roar echoed across the forest as the grunt’s skin turned crimson and blood flowed from the corner of its eyes akin to tears.
“Everyone! This is its last resort! As long as we hold out for fifteen minutes, then it’s our win!” Shye said in a loud voice.
The entire party clenched their weapons tightly as they prepared their mind and body to engage in a tough battle against a creature who they assumed was desperately fighting for its life.
Unbeknownst to them, the creature was fully resolved to die as long as it could take one of them down.
If Shye and the others weren’t careful, then one of them might lose their life due to the unexpected and crazy attacks of this dying orc grunt.
Meanwhile, not far from the venue of their battle, the ear of another green-skinned creature with bulging muscles twitched upon hearing the distant warcry.
It then turned around and madly darted towards the direction of the ongoing battle to see what was going on.
Another orc grunt…was on its way.
