Seeing how effective her explanation was, Liu Meixiu smiled.

It seems that these esteemed guests would be more than willing to sign the contract, ensuring not only a huge profit for the auction house but also the safety of their client.

“Are there any more questions?” Auctioneer Meixiu asked, skimming her eyes over the crowd who seemed to have no more questions.

They looked utterly eager to bid.

Satisfied, Meixiu finally gave them what they wanted.

“With no further questions from our esteemed guests, we shall now move on to the next stage,” the auctioneer declared, skillfully building anticipation with a brief pause. “For our first item, we will begin the bidding at 50,000 silver coins, with increments of at least one thousand silver coins. Let the bidding begin!”

“60,000!”

“65,000!”

“75,000!”

Shye was flabbergasted at what he was seeing.

He couldn’t believe that someone would just sell herself off and that people would actually engage in a fierce bidding war to obtain her.
