Shye must admit, he was impressed at Seira’s performance.

As soon as he saw more than a hundred goblins surrounding them, his heart was promptly assaulted by pangs of loneliness, thinking that Seira probably wouldn’t live through the day.

After all, he could escape if things went out of hand while Seira…would have no business fleeing from the Goblin Chieftain who was superior to her in every aspect.

Shockingly though, when the grim reaper came knocking at her door, she vehemently refused to go, fighting ferociously—like a cornered beast—to keep her little life.

Arriving in front of Balkrow City’s gates, Seira practically hopped and skipped like a child as she entered, making Shye chuckle in amusement.

His jolly mood didn’t last for long though.

He wasn’t angry anymore about the difficulty since they survived and succeeded, however, what infuriated him was the unjust rewards for such a high-difficulty quest.

Walking for around twenty minutes, the two of them finally arrived in front of their guild’s branch headquarters.

“Well then, here’s my adventurer license and guild token, boss. Do your thing. I’ll be back after learning the skills you gave me.”

Entering the branch headquarters with a rather mild scowl on his face, Shye proceeded towards the rewards desk.
