Chapter 312: The Much Anticipated Duel For The Ice Queen’s Heart
Waking up to one of the best mornings, Shye lightly stretched as he looked around.

As discussed, he and Shirley wouldn’t go to the Nookbury guild branch together since today was his duel with Jason.

He wanted to teach the bastard a lesson for pretending to be Shirley’s boyfriend and he didn’t want to spoil the fun by immediately proving his lies.

Shirley felt that he was a bit mean for doing so, however, she ultimately supported him after hearing that her dastardly guild branchmate claimed to be her boyfriend.

She would never fall for such a delusional charlatan as her heart belonged to only Shye.

Being the early bird that she always was, Shirley decided to leave first, leaving the naked Shye alone in the enormous bed.

The duel was ultimately scheduled at 9 AM and since it was only 8, Shye had ample time to prepare.

He was about to slap faces and break hearts, hence, he had to look as dashing as possible.

Enthusiastically getting up, Shye lightly brushed his teeth before taking out a pre-packed seafood paella, causing a mouth-watering aroma to waft in the air as he savored his meal—not too quick, neither too slow.

Shortly after, he rested for around five minutes before taking a good, thorough bath, washing off hints of yesternight’s fierce battle.

Once done, he donned a simple gray shirt and khaki-colored pants before equipping his warrior equipment set.

Since lots of people recognized him in this branch, it would be better to introduce himself as a warrior and then surprise them by revealing the fact that he was a mage if needed.

‘Nice, looking like someone worthy of the ice queen!’

Inwardly praising his dashing look, Shye confidently left the inn and wore his signature “arrogant smile” as he walked towards the Nookbury guild branch.

Some wanted to see who would win, others were interested in seeing Shye Crowley again, and some just wanted to admire the ice queen’s beauty.

Within a mere five minutes, approximately 5000 individuals had swiftly assembled in front of the headquarters of the Raven’s Blade branch, leaving Shye, who had just arrived, feeling giddy.

It seems that he would earn a sizable amount of points today as long as he played his cards right.

He then turned his head and looked at his opponent who didn’t appear nervous in the slightest.

‘You bastard…let’s see if you can still act like this once I’m done with you!’
