“Now, please stand in the middle of the smaller magic circle.” The chamber operator said, waiting for Shye to arrive at his position before continuing: “Next, please channel your mana and feed it to the magic circle. You must continue to do so until I tell you to stop.”

Naturally, Shye would follow the instructions meticulously, refraining from any exaggerated enthusiasm solely to entertain his viewers.

“I shall activate the magic circle now, Sir Crowley. Please continue feeding the circle with mana until a familiar appears in the center summoning circle.”

Giving a silent nod to the chamber operator, Shye resolved not to hold back, knowing that doing so might compromise the summoning process and result in him acquiring a weaker familiar than he could obtain by giving his all.
