In the past five months, Shye focused on improving his strength and furthering his career as an adventurer by relentlessly training and taking on quests.

If there were plenty of (S) ranked quests available, he would take on one of those; otherwise, he would opt for an (S-) ranked quest.

He didn’t want to offend all of the adamantite-ranked adventurers in his guild as even though he could deal with the consequences, his division members couldn’t, except for a select few.

Shye had been an excellent division leader, not forgetting to fulfill his duties despite grinding to improve his combat techniques, his attributes, and his experience, for 42 hours every two days with the help of natural recovery pills.

This resulted in his division being promoted to a three-star division, granting them a higher member capacity, a new spacious division lounge, and higher-ranked division quests—though they were still subpar.

Currently, the Flashy Ravens Rising was still yet to reach the 300-member limit, and they were still actively recruiting.

However, since they were already finding explosive success, Shye made it harder for new recruits to pass their assessment as not only a good heart and personality were required but also great combat or support capabilities.

Yet, despite the increased difficulty of being accepted as a member, Raven’s Blade guildsmen still queued.

The first reason: their division’s redeemable rewards were simply too insane compared to even the four-star and a few five-star divisions.

Rumor has it that the stash even included a few Mithril-ranked Meido Brand weapons and equipment sets, along with some super rare attribute enhancement tonics and potions that can’t be purchased in consumable shops without the highest tier of membership.

The future was just way too bright for the division.

It was a refreshing atmosphere to be in.

Unfortunately, only the lucky select few could join, causing them to have massive regrets for not joining early—some of them even mocking those who did in the past.

…Leaving the guild headquarters in a hurry, Shye didn’t even have the chance to greet his division members.

However, despite the seemingly cold treatment, there wasn’t a hint of negative emotions in the hearts of Shye’s division members.

“Eusford Academy needs just one more win to secure the championship! Colzen, on the other hand, still needs two victories. However, it doesn’t seem like it will come to that—unless Colzen’s ace, Maia Crowley, can turn the situation around!”

“Coincidentally, she finds herself in the same situation her older brother, Shye Crowley, faced in the Grand Finals of the Adventurer Academy Competition two years ago, wherein three opponents remained for the other team while only she remained for Colzen. Now, will she be able to withstand the assault of this (A) ranked simulated Khimaira until all three from Eusford are eliminated?!”

Bart’s vibrant voice echoed across the arena, bringing excitement to the hearts of the Eusford fans and slight anxiety to the Colzen Fans.

Last year, Colzen Academy was the defending champion.

Unfortunately, they crashed out in the quarterfinals with a 3-1 defeat, shocking many onlookers.

However, upon reflection, many realized that Colzen’s position was still precarious, as it was only Shye’s generation that had managed to achieve such success.

It would be impossible for them to be as consistently strong as the Eusford, Aslan, and Freia academies.

Nevertheless, the academy was making progress, having consistently reached the championship matches for three years now, with another appearance in the grand finals led by Shye Crowley’s younger sister, Maia Crowley.

She was as fierce as her older brother if not more as many already realized by now that she enjoyed duels, leaving even the Aslan, Eusford, and Freia representatives wishing to not get matched up with her in a one-on-one.

Well, except for the ace representatives, of course, as they naturally have the pride of an undefeated youngster and would like to test their mettle against others of the same caliber to see who the strongest was.

As a result, Maia faced Freia Academy’s ace representative in a crucial one-on-one match, completely dominating her opponent and aggressively countering every trump card thrown her way.

In an attempt to help the Colzen ace in what little way they could, the Colzen Crowd started an intense wave of “Maia” chants—possibly their last as it seemed like her stamina was starting to run low.

Naturally, there was a reason why Maia was less intense today.

It was her last match in the Adventurer Academy Competition.

Yet, her big brother still hadn’t shown up.

She was worried that something happened to him.

After all, she was sure that Shye wouldn’t miss her matches in the Adventurer Academy Competition if not for unforeseen circumstances.

Hence, when a loud, primal roar resembling those of dragons sounded from the stands, everyone, including the simulated monsters, couldn’t help but stop what they were doing and turned their heads to look.
