‘Looking good…this should be enough for me to at least navigate confidently inside even an (S) ranked dungeon…’
It was a well-known fact that humans were naturally weaker than monstrous creatures, which is why an entire party of adventurers was typically needed to take down a creature of the same rank.
As for Shye’s current attributes and skills, they could already be considered to be of mid-adamantite rank, even without him equipping greatswords.
Of course, he would be way stronger with Adamance and Mithra in his hands.

He would need to gauge the extent of his strength through actual battles, however, as it would be difficult to assess it without testing it in a real combat scenario.
‘Consumables…life-saving talisman…return scrolls…’
After performing one final check, Shye left his house and headed toward the special teleportation circle near the city square.
This teleportation circle required a special pass, which Shye had secured from Blas during their discussions about his acceptance of the regional champion position.
With it, he could travel to and from other regions without difficulty, saving a significant amount of precious time.
A few minutes later, he arrived at the gates of the special teleportation circle.
“Hello, here’s my pass. I need to go to the World Adventurer Association’s Main Headquarters located in the Fanfir region.”
“Hello, Sir Crowley, here for your quadrimestre mandatory quest from the WAA I presume?”
“Yes, Administrator Henlee.”
“Hahaha, what a diligent regional champion… Off you go then. Step into the center of the teleportation circle whenever you’re ready.”
He was already running a bit late.
Hence, he immediately followed the administrator’s instructions and stepped inside the teleportation circle.
A few moments later, an azure light ascended skyward, capturing the attention of those in the city square.
“Sigh… When will I get to use that special teleportation circle? It must be so convenient…”
“Heh, dream on. Only important people in the region could use it.”
“I already knew that without you telling me! So… who do you think it was?”
“I’m not sure, but people saw Shye Crowley passing by earlier, so it might have been him.”
…
“Hoh…so this is the WAA Fanfir branch, huh?” Shye muttered, impressed as he scanned his eyes at his surroundings.
Unlike the branch in Valenzia, the WAA’s branch in the Fanfir region was at least three times as spacious.
It resembled a small town, complete with restaurants, shops for consumables and equipment, and training centers, all accredited by the WAA.
However, these establishments were only accessible to adamantite-ranked adventurers, as they featured the most advanced technologies and the latest recipes not yet available to the public.
This was one of the Fanfir region’s secrets behind having so many adamantite-ranked adventurers, with numbers more than double and nearly triple those of Valenzia.
Fortunately, he was already late; otherwise, he would have definitely tried to enter an establishment, only to be forced to leave, which would have been quite embarrassing.
Entering the WAA headquarters, Shye spoke to the guard.
“Hello, I’m Shye Crowley, a champion from the Valenzia Region. I’m here to report to my handler.”
After a short conversation and document verification with the guards, Shye was led by one of them toward a certain door.
“Sir Crowley, this is the rendezvous room for your mission. I believe the others are already inside.”
“I see, thanks for guiding me, Sir Dustin.”
“No worries. Well then, I shall return to my post.”
Offering Shye a slight bow, the guard, Dustin, left, leaving Shye alone in front of the rendezvous room’s door.
‘Sigh…I hope my teammates won’t stir up trouble for nothing…’ Shye inwardly sighed, extending his hands to open the room’s door. ‘Well, if they did, then I’ll just teach them not to mess with me.”
In the past, he met another Valenzia Champion named Hadden, who was quite a likable individual.
The two of them chatted for a good while inside the WAA Valenzia Headquarters.
Through Hadden, he learned that everyone from Valenzia, including the three titled adventurers, was looked down upon by those from other regions, except for Frozen End.
Hence, he already expected that he wouldn’t be respected by the champions from other regions.
He only hoped they wouldn’t go too far.
After all, he didn’t want to jeopardize their chances of completing the mission by breaking someone’s legs or arms.
‘Sigh…here goes nothing.’
