Chapter 562: Ridiculously Tough
Realizing that the floor guardian was wide open, Freeze smiled excitedly, emerging from the shadows right above the creature’s eye and ferociously stabbing his dagger toward it.
Unfortunately, he had been too greedy.
It would’ve been enough if he could destroy its ear.
However, since it looked like the Brallnr couldn’t protect its weak point, Freeze immediately grabbed the opportunity to take its lone eye.
Regrettably, as his icy dagger produced popping sounds as it viciously stabbed at the Brallnr, a purple barrier made of multiple little hexagons emerged in front of the cyclops’ eye, easily stopping Freeze’s attack.
“This incompetent idiot! Weren’t you supposed to target its ear?!” Dalton raged.
Due to Freeze’s heroics, they almost wasted a prime chance to deal huge amounts of damage to the extremely tough Brallnr.
Fortunately, Rai Hou’s quick reflexes and swift, effective decision-making turned the situation around, giving them more time to beat the fallen one-eyed creature up.
Two green arrows whizzed through the air, as silent as ghosts, revealing no hint of aggressive intent.
As a result, the Brallnr Cyclops failed to detect them and instead raised its wounded left hand to grab at Freeze, who fortunately managed to evade just in time.
Then, immediately after failing to grab the Kreborian scout champion, the two green, spectral arrows stabbed deep into both of its hands.
Shockingly, it dealt no damage to the Brallnr.
Instead, multiple green threads suddenly emerged from the two arrows, piercing and embedding themselves deeply in the ground.
This made it impossible for the Brallnr to stand up for a few seconds, which was more than enough for a certain destructive monstrous creature in human form to deal immense damage to it.
“Great cover, Rai Hou!”
Emerging from the darkness, Shye lunged at the creature with one of his less frequently used skills, [Lunge Pierce Lv.5], allowing him to land precisely on the creature’s nape while inflicting minimal piercing damage.
However, what was important wasn’t the skill’s damage but the fact that it was able to put him in an optimal position to wreck the f*ck out of the floor guardian.
Gripping his greatswords tightly and wearing a menacing smile, Shye brandished both blades, slashing rapidly at the pinned Brallnr’s nape.
His increasing speed soon generated a hurricane of silver slash marks that engulfed the enormous cyclops.
This was Shye’s newly learned warrior skill, [Thousand Slash Hurricane Lv.3 (Rare)].
The silver hurricane soon turned black as the Brallnr’s blood mixed with it, its agonized howl serving as evidence of Shye’s extraordinary strength.
Everyone who watched Shye’s ferocious attack was left dumbfounded, except for Rai Hou, who had the presence of mind to capitalize on it and follow through.
“Dalton! Walter! Mira! Freeze! Don’t just stand there! Attack!” the Yon Augenn champion exclaimed, pulling his bowstrings back, a slightly furious look on his face
“Piercing Void!”
An enormous mana arrow, surrounded by a purple aura, shot through the air from Rai Hou’s longbow.
It created a purple crack through which the arrow vanished, only to reappear behind the Brallnr’s left leg through another void crack.
It was an arrow that literally pierced through the void.
Naturally, piercing through a leg, no matter how tough, was an easy task for the arrow.
Hence, black blood spurted from the creature’s left leg as the purple arrow drilled a sizable hole in it, effectively crippling the Brallnr Cyclops’ mobility.
“Everyone, now!”

The floor guardian was like a sitting duck, wide open to everyone’s attack.
Naturally, the other champions, including Mira, didn’t dare waste such a golden opportunity.
The two warriors and one scout charged forward, using various skills, while Walter and Mira stayed at the back, casting offensive spells.
“Half-moon Slash!”
“Dragon Bash!”
“Glacial Laceration!”
“Flame Tornado!”
“Heavenly Smite!”
It was as if an extreme catastrophe had descended upon the immobilized Brallnr, with spells and skills of various elements wreaking havoc and destruction around the area where it had fallen.
The furious roar, fountaining black blood, and the scent of charred flesh testified to the monstrous creature’s suffering.
“Is it… dead?” Mira asked warily, staring intently at the clouds of dust, waiting for them to clear.
A few moments later, the monstrous creature was visible again.
Unfortunately, the Brallnr Cyclops’ 920 points of vitality were not merely for show, as the creature’s anger-filled eye remained well and alive despite its body being battered, bloody, and broken.
“There’s just no way…isn’t this thing merely (S-) class?! How are we struggling?!” Dalton raged, finding it hard to believe that their all-out assault, although enough to wound it gravely, was still not enough to take it down.
“Calm down, Dalton,” Shye said, gazing warily at the grievously wounded Brallnr.
Based on his past experiences, the bastard was about to rage.
His guess proved to be correct as soon after, the Brallnr’s furious roar echoed inside the dungeon, its pale purple skin turning multiple shades darker.
Shockingly, a second pair of demonic wings emerged on its lower back, albeit a little smaller than the original.
However, this allowed the Brallnr Cyclops to move as fast as, if not faster than, before despite its now bulkier and heavier muscles.
Shye naturally knew that some of his party members, the more faint-hearted ones, would start losing heart if he didn’t say anything.
Hence, he gave them a little pep talk.
“Everyone, this is its last stand. Just focus on surviving for now, we can counterattack once its rage skill timed out.”
Shye’s calm and collected order brought peace to the slightly racing hearts of the other champions.
Indeed, there’s no such thing as an unkillable monster.
This Brallnr, too, should be falling soon, and this should be its last stand.
With slightly calmer hearts than before, the WAA extermination party composed of young adventurers aged twenty-nine and below once again assumed their positions.
Their goal: buy time until the creature’s rage skill times out.
However, their serene resolution was short-lived as the floor guardian suddenly raised both of its arms.
Soon after, a pitch-black domain extended outwards from its location, devouring Shye and his party members.
