Chapter 576: A Hottie Arrives
“H-Hey, who’s that chick?”
“Damn, what a hottie…is she a rookie?”
Outside the Raven’s Blade Adventurer Guild Main Headquarters, a young, orange-haired young woman entered through the main door.
She was drop-dead gorgeous, turning the heads of not only men but also women, both envious and admiring.
The young woman’s short hair—only up to below her ear, heightened admirers’ fantasies as her silky smooth and slim yet toned neck was fully displayed.
Her curvy waist and blessed bosom did little to quench men’s desire, further fanning the flames instead.
“Hah, finally made it…” Shirley muttered, her heart beaming with pride. She finally made it to the main branch; to the main stage where the biggest of fishes swam free, phoenixes soared, and dragons rose.
Her parents were of modest rank.
As mere platinum and ruby, their talents were insufficient to even glimpse what it was like to compete on the big stage.
This was a huge breakthrough for their family.
“Hey, miss, outsiders aren’t allowed. However, I, Dinoa Parrell can give you a tour inside if you want.” A tall, handsome young man with short curly brown hair, brown eyes, slightly tanned skin, and a muscular physique suddenly blocked Shirley’s path, preventing her from moving forward.
This naturally caused her brows to furrow slightly.
She only had one man in her heart, and that’s not going to change anytime soon, probably for eternity.
However, despite being a warrior, she was sensible and logical, unlike a certain brutish ape.
Therefore, she understood that it would be unwise to offend the young man, likely three to four years older than her, as he might have many connections that could be troublesome for even Shye to handle.
“I’m a recently promoted rookie and I’m here to report my arrival. I am flattered by your offer. However, I still have a lot to do after this so I would have to refuse.” Shirley said respectfully.
Despite her annoyance, she still managed to slightly bow at the young man.
Because the rejection was respectful, Dinoa wasn’t offended.
He assumed the attractive woman was simply too shy to accept his offer in public. After all, there were very few women who could resist the charm of a handsome and talented young man such as him.
Especially since he was one of Raven Blade’s most promising youngsters.
‘Hahahaha, what a shy cutie. Alright, alright, I’ll take my time with you.’
“Ahh! A rookie…I see, I apologize. I thought you were an outsider. You’re free to go, then. If you need help, I’ll be around.” Dinoa said with a gentle smile before turning around and moving away with a confident smirk.
He was handsome, talented, and well-versed in matters of a woman’s heart. If the rookie proved herself worthy, she would be the one he chose to settle down with.
The one who tamed the wild horse that was Dinoa Parrell. The lucky woman who would be envied by many others.
Shirley was indeed the lucky woman who would be envied by many others for a time.
However, not because of him but a young man of greater potential and fame.
Watching the youngster who was a few years her senior leave so easily, Shirley was inwardly stunned.
‘Hmm? Just like that? Maybe he wasn’t hitting on me… Sigh… what am I doing… I guess my ego is getting too big. I need to tone it down…’ She thought to herself, realizing that the senior might have been genuinely trying to help her. ‘The least I could do is…’
“Thank you, Mister Parell,” Shirley said with another bow—this time, a sincere one, proceeding towards the receptionist counter promptly after.
Unbeknownst to her, calling Dinoa “Mister” instead of “Senior” was a significant mistake.

This slight difference in honorifics made the talented young man believe that she saw him as a man rather than just a senior.
The glance she gave him at the end—a product of her curiosity and confusion—only served to worsen the situation.
‘Hahaha, just as I thought, I have a good chance with this chick. Now, it’s up to her to prove herself to me once we’re together.’ Dinoa mused, excited about the future. ‘Will I keep you? Will you be able to make me, a wild stallion, keep you? I can’t wait…’

Meanwhile, back at the horrifying dark depths of the Horza Blaidde Mana Dungeon’s ninth floor, the extermination party advanced, resolute despite facing horrors and difficulties beyond their wildest imaginations.
The ninth floor seemed to be home to the most spine-chilling creatures of the dark.
Even Shye’s eyes were starting to fail him, only allowing him to see around twelve meters ahead.
The endless darkness was all-encompassing, consuming everything, including one’s hopes and dreams.
Yet, the extermination party held on, the sole bastion of light in the realm of darkness. They’ve so far survived the attack of seven variant monstrous creatures, all (S-) ranked.
However, Mira and Walter had to intervene in two of the seven battles, slightly reducing the chances of their mana potion reserves making it to the final battle on the tenth floor.
Still, the party had no choice but to advance. They’ve already come so far, explored so many rooms, and obtained so many items.
At this point, returning from whence they came was harder than locating the guardian’s room.
‘Maybe the dungeon had two core guardians?’ He mused.
If there was a false core, then there should be a ‘false core guardian’. A simple one plus one equals two.
The false core guardian should be a creature of darkness while the true core guardian should be of the void.
‘I guess it would be smarter to obtain the false core either way…’
He was simply spouting bullshit to persuade the idiots to agree in clearing the ninth floor. Who would’ve thought that there was a good chance his analyses were spot on?
If not for the mandatory quest, he wouldn’t even have known that there was a false core.
‘How did that old bastard even know such information?’ He pondered.
However, his thoughts were cut short as he detected yet another horror lurking in the deep dark.
Strangely, the creature wasn’t moving, it was as still as a statue.
‘Guardian!’ Shye thought inwardly in celebration. Unlike on the previous floors, it was way harder for him to see in the dark.
Luckily, his brain worked fast, allowing him to remember that only floor guardians remained still, guarding descending staircases as though their offsprings.
Only, there was no golden staircase, leaving him baffled.
‘Well, only one way to find out!’
