Seira was someone who became easily distressed.

For the first time ever, Seira stumped Shye.

Upon hearing the midget’s subsequent words, Shye was slightly dumbstruck and taken aback for a few moments.

“S-S-SHHHH!! Y-YOU IDIOT! W-WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING?!” Shye exclaimed in horror, giving Seira a solid whack on the back of her head.

He then immediately sprinted out of his house and checked whether someone was close by.

Luckily, there wasn’t anyone nearby. This allowed him to breathe another sigh of relief.

As Shye entered the house, he saw Seira standing in a daze, her hands covering her mouth and an expression of shocked realization on her face.

She had just openly declared her intent to join the most notorious terrorist organization in the world as if it were an honorable act.

“S-S-SH*T!! BOSS!! WHAT DO WE DO?! WAIT HERE, I’M GRABBING MY FAMILY REAL QUICK!! LET’S GET OUT BEFORE WE—”

*PAH!*

A light smack to the head abruptly stopped Seira’s panic, causing her to rub the sore spot with her hands instead.

“Calm down, I just checked, there’s no one around. We’re safe.”

“I-Is that so? That’s great…”

“Hooooohhh…”

The three of them unexpectedly took a deep breath in unison, prompting them to glance at each other before bursting into laughter.

“Pfft…hahaha. You little midget… are you selling your boss out?!” Shye joked, clearly relieved that everything had turned out fine.

He hadn’t been the least bit nervous from the start, fully expecting Seira to believe his every word, given her blind faith in him.

As it turned out, challenging and overturning a deeply ingrained belief in someone’s heart was far more difficult than he had anticipated.

He had to do better in terms of recruiting people.

“Hehehe, sorry, boss. You know how impulsive I can be… hehe!” Seira responded, grinning awkwardly as she massaged Shye’s back like a loyal underling.

After chatting for a few more minutes, Seira left Shye’s house, deep in thought.

Meanwhile, Shye and Shirley breathed yet another sigh of relief.

‘Phew…at least it went well in the end…’ Shye thought inwardly.

Shirley was also pretty happy regarding how Seira’s recruitment went, as she knew that Shye would be dejected if he failed to recruit one of his close friends.

To celebrate the success of the operation, Seira’s recruitment, and identifying the mole, the couple enjoyed a hearty steak and vegetable dinner, which they cooked together.

However, it was far from an ordinary cooking session—the two engaged in steamy, intimate moments before they even started cooking.

Exhausted and hungry, the meal they prepared tasted even more delicious than usual.

The couple ended the day with one last sexy time before cleaning up and lying in bed together, sweetly cuddling as Shirley snuggled into Shye’s chest, holding each other as they drifted off to sleep.

They cherished these tender moments as much as possible, knowing that once the war began, nothing was guaranteed.

They couldn’t afford to neglect the present too much.
