Chapter 692: Kiin Wujin’s Unbelievable Prowess
The rounds went by like rolling waves.
To the Yon Augennians’ delight, everyone followed the plan, including the mysterious and unexpectedly powerful Valenzians.
As a result, the Fanfirians were at a loss. They were stuck at a win-loss record of six and zero.
The Fanfirians thought that challenging the Deltrans would lead them into the Yon Augennians’ trap, so they did their best to avoid such confrontations and continued their attempts to challenge youngsters from other regions instead.
Unfortunately, not a single youngster accepted their challenges.
This left them grinding their teeth in frustration. As a result, they were forced to challenge the Deltrans.
To the Yon Augennians’ disappointment, the Deltran representative actually lost due to a careless mistake, allowing the Fanfir region to improve their record to seven wins and zero losses.
It was a disaster and humiliation that would haunt this group of Deltrans forever.
Naturally, this failure had consequences, including the Chellionne Region losing faith in the plan.
As a result, they began to consider accepting the Fanfirians’ challenges and delivering their first loss themselves.
Meanwhile, Shye and his crew suddenly faded from everyone’s attention.
It was understandable, though, as no one would want to risk their valuable chances for a win against an unpredictable wildcard like them in the current situation.
It was much safer to target the Raumannians and Kreborians instead.
Also, the seventh-ranked Phaskalda Region also caught everyone’s eye, becoming the prime targets for the fourth-ranked Chellionne, the fifth-ranked Weaven, and the sixth-ranked Hakk’Shatta.
With a record of five wins and one loss, only Shirley, Kiin, Seira, and Wendy from the Valenzian roster had yet to compete.
Kiin was then challenged by a confident scout from the Weaven region named Dale Brunssen, who believed he would be an easy victory.
Naturally, since the Valenzian archer was Shye’s prime suspect, he watched the battle intently, hoping to determine whether Kiin was indeed the elusive Fifteenth Hawkling.
Scouts held a significant advantage over any ranged class.
Hence, the young man from Weaven was surprised that Kiin dared to accept his challenge.
In truth, Shye found it rather strange as well.
After all, Kiin was a logical individual, so he would have easily recognized that accepting the sparring invitation was a disadvantage and that no one would have judged him for declining it.
Nonetheless, the battle was already underway so Shye had no time to speculate further.
Watching Kiin’s battle would give him much more information.
Dale immediately launched a fierce offensive, not giving Kiin much time to buff himself up.
Nevertheless, the latter was at least able to cast an agility boost on himself, enabling him to put some distance between them after fending off his opponent’s attack.
Shortly after, the usual clash between a scout and an archer began.
Dale relentlessly chased after Kiin, who retreated at an incredible speed, firing a barrage of both regular and elemental arrows as he backpedaled.
The scout easily blocked most of the arrows and deftly dodged the rest with simple zigzag movements as he closed the gap.
Soon enough, Dale finally caught up, using [Blink Strike] to appear behind Kiin as he aimed to end the fight with a swift, brutal slash to the neck.
But then, something unexpected happened.

The Valenzian archer suddenly drew a concealed blunted dagger from his leg and calmly turned, positioning the blade to deflect Dale’s strike.
*CLANG!*
To everyone’s amazement, Dale was forced back half a meter, completely stunned by his narrow defeat in the melee exchange.
Shye narrowed his eyes at the sight.
“Heh, looks like I’ll need to brace myself for Siegfried’s endless challenges. Fine, if that’s what it takes to claim victory, I won’t hold back anymore,” Kiin remarked with a smirk, switching back to the worn-out shortbow.
“Hmph, letting a single small win inflate your ego? How naive!” Dale shot back, unleashing fiery slashes in the direction of his Valenzian opponent, which Kiin gracefully dodged with immaculate footwork.
The archer quickly launched a flurry of mana arrows in a counterattack.
As minutes passed, Dale gradually found himself at a disadvantage.
No matter how hard he pressed, Kiin effortlessly defended against his strikes, leaving Dale with no choice but to resort to his trump card.
Momentarily stepping back which took the retreating archer by surprise, the Weavenian scout summoned six identical clones, each armed with glowing red daggers, and together they charged at Kiin.
Seven Dales advanced toward him, but Kiin instantly recognized the real one.
Without hesitation, he activated one of his [Uncommon]-tier skills, [Zephyr Volley], shooting twenty wind-enchanted arrows toward the real body.
A series of sharp fwoosh sounds filled the air as the arrows tore through Dale’s body, forcing him to his knees as he coughed up blood.
Only, to everyone’s astonishment, the “bleeding real body” suddenly turned into mana particles, turning out to be nothing but a mere clone.
‘Crap!’ Kiin cursed to himself.
He had expected the clones to disappear, so he hadn’t worried about them closing in on him, which left him in a precarious situation.
While none of the clones had managed to get behind him, he was now overwhelmed by six Dales advancing from the front, left, and right.
Ever calm and logical, Kiin didn’t panic, getting right back to shooting arrows while retreating the best he could.
He managed to eliminate another clone.
However, that was it, four clones along with the main body now surrounded him on all sides.
Kiin could choose to use his trump card in the Adventurer Academy competition to eliminate the two clones in front of him, but that would leave him vulnerable to the three Dales, who could easily tear him apart.
In his current situation, it was not a viable option.
‘Now, what will you do, Kiin Wujin?’ Shye mused, completely unconcerned that Kiin might lose.
If he was indeed Fifteenth Hawkling, then there was no need to worry, as he would surely be able to pull through this tough situation.
Kiin chose to retrieve the hidden blunted dagger he had chosen earlier from the weapon rack, assuming a fighting stance.
He planned to fight all the clones with it.
In the next moment, Dale and his clones launched their attacks almost in unison.
However, to everyone’s astonishment, Kiin handled the dagger adeptly, refusing to lose ground even while facing five opponents at once.
Though he took a few hits, they were far from enough to knock him out.
At that moment, it was as though Ian was fighting, eliciting surprised gasps from Seira and the others.
