A loud voice echoed across the grand halls, forcing Seira to face forward and focus.

A heavy, two-handed mace was right in front of her, threatening to smash her to meat paste.

‘Tch, I need to focus!’ Seira thought as she narrowly dodged the blow by leaning to the left and stepping back almost simultaneously, causing Glenn’s attack to crash into the ground.

If not for the protective mana coating applied before the event, dark brown tile shards would fly everywhere instead of just a modest-sized crater and a small dust cloud.

Unfortunately, Glenn was now on a fierce offensive, and she had no choice but to defend herself until an opportunity to counterattack presented itself.

The Yon Augennian pressed forward with relentless fury, his mace swinging in all directions—left, right, up, down, and diagonally—driven by a fierce desire to pummel the Valenzian who had wounded his pride.

Seira wasn’t moving, so Glenn thought that he had won.

It was bound to not happen, though, as Seira was merely baiting him in.

“B*tch!” the Yon Augennian shouted in frustration, realizing that the midget hadn’t been deceived by the Earthen Python; it was he who had been outsmarted.

‘No matter…’ Glenn thought inwardly the next moment, smiling wickedly.

The sequence wasn’t his killing combination for nothing.

Just before Seira’s attack landed, the young Yon Augennian detonated the translucent boulder image, sending lethal shards flying in all directions except the caster’s.

Naturally, the grape-haired midget was well within its range.

Glenn’s smile grew wider upon noticing that multiple shards were about to hit Seira.
