“…His most recent and notable achievement is guiding a team of young champions and titled adventurers to conquer the infamous Ambrose Mana Dungeon—a dungeon that has been a persistent thorn in the side of the WAA for decades! Many had attempted, but only he triumphed! Let’s hear it for Alexander Aphelion of the Boundless Shadows!”
Watching Alexander walk towards his designated seat, Shye frowned.
The guy’s appraisal window made him do so.
Alexander’s attributes were manageable for Shye, though he would have to exert some effort to overpower the former.
However, the problem wasn’t his physical attributes, but his shitload of blessings, talents, and skills.
For the first time since he obtained the system, Shye found his true match.
Things wouldn’t be so easy this time.
‘I probably have to purchase a few skills to counter a few of his…’
Shye wasn’t willing to lose, so, he purchased a few skills from the system for a total cost of 700,000 points.

As for whether he could get value out of the skills he purchased, Shye didn’t doubt it.
After all, the skills would aid him from now on.
His only regret was that he couldn’t earn the points back from broadcasting the match.
Or at least that’s what he thought.
Shye didn’t have time to ponder much, as it was his turn next.
“And now, last but certainly not least! Among the four, this young man—despite being the youngest—became a hero before the others. Does this mean he was the most gifted of them all? Who can say? But it’s clear he wasn’t the least talented, especially with his incredible feats: summoning a king-class familiar and becoming the first hero in history to slay a mythical creature!”
“I could go on about the legends he’s built, despite coming from one of the most underdeveloped regions, but with respect for time, I won’t. So, let’s give a thunderous round of applause for Valenzia’s one and only young hero, Shye Crowley of the Black Dawn!”
As Shye stood, his friends erupted in cheers, with Seira’s booming voice nearly overwhelming everyone’s eardrums.
To his surprise, a sizable number of youngsters from other regions cheered for him, though most were from Chellione and lower regions, as the Fanfirians, Deltrans, and most certainly the Yon Augennians were not enthusiastic.
After sitting down on the elevated platform, Shye heard the words he had most hoped for but never expected from Moderator Scarlet.
“Everyone, we’ve reached the final segment of our event, one that has only occurred twice before in history due to the rarity of young heroes gathering like this,” Scarlet began.
“After careful deliberation, the WAA board of directors has decided to broadcast the match across all official channels, with the hope of sparking passion and determination in the hearts of aspiring adventurers!” She continued, “With any luck, this will lead to a brighter future, where we witness even more talented young heroes emerge!”
Upon hearing this, Shye was over the moon.
After all, not only did it mean he had the chance to recover the 700,000 points he’d spent, but he might even earn more.
Unfortunately, there were a few veteran heroes who frowned at the announcement.
An old warrior hero from Weaven raised his hand.
“Yes, Sir Owen Sunchaser of the Shining Crescent, please do voice out your concerns.” the gorgeous moderator said.
“I recognize the significance of inspiring young people, but wouldn’t broadcasting the battle put everyone present at risk? It would be akin to revealing our location to terrorist organizations. While we don’t fear any one group, it would certainly pose a major issue if multiple groups decided to attack.” Owen asked.
“Ah, yes. That was the primary concern the WAA addressed beforehand. As a result, they commissioned five thousand adamantite-ranked adventurers from around the world to stay at nearby establishments. Additionally, there are about a thousand adamantite-level guards stationed both at the manor and its surrounding areas,” Scarlet explained patiently, her sweet smile never wavering.
Owen’s concerns were entirely valid, as the loss of even just thirty percent of the people in the grand halls would be a catastrophic disaster and tragedy that the WAA would struggle to recover from, particularly in terms of their prestige and reliability.
“Hmm, I understand. If that’s the case, then I suppose our safety won’t be at risk,” Owen replied, now feeling reassured.
Scarlet was genuinely pleased that Owen expressed his concerns, as it provided her the opportunity to explain the WAA’s safety measures.
This, in turn, would reassure those present and allow them to fully enjoy the main event.
“Are there any further concerns from our esteemed heroes or talented youth representatives?” the stunning moderator inquired again, sweeping her gaze over the crowd. “Since there are no more questions… Broadcasting team, let’s go! We’re going live!”
