Chapter 759: The Mythical White Stallion’s Strength
Two equines stood across the towering Fire Dragon Emperor.
Rather than showing fear, they appeared to regard the draconic overlord with disdain.
After exchanging a few words, the dragon emperor finally couldn’t hold himself back, firing another fireball—one much larger than the previous—toward the black mare.
The Fire Dragon Emperor wanted a fireball rematch!
Naturally, the equally prideful Zeth didn’t shy away from the challenge, shooting a big, blue fireball of her own.
A few moments later, the two fireballs collided, recreating the earlier scene.
The blue fireball was swallowed by the red one.
However, this time, the former wasn’t able to devour the latter without paying the price of its own destruction.
It was a draw.
Only, the Fire Dragon Emperor overlooked something important.
Equines, although prideful, weren’t dragons, and were used to helping each other, finding no shame in doing so.
Hence, before the draconic emperor could even taunt Zeth, it was sent flying by a solid kick to the face.
Shattered red scales flew everywhere as the Fire Dragon Emperor’s nose bled.
“Hmph, Firindroth, what did my hoof taste like?” Aemorus taunted, “You should be honored that your face was marked by a noble equine like me.”
Naturally, Firindroth the Fire Dragon Emperor was angered to the high heavens, flames erupting from all of its orifices.
“Stallion! You cursed white stallion!!” it raged, “You dare!! You dare mock me, Firindroth?! You’ll pay for your sins!!”
The next moment, the emperor’s entire body was covered with flames, with only its glowing red eyes visible.
The temperature also rose tremendously, causing Shye and the others to sweat hard.
This was an existence at the pinnacle of the monster hierarchy.
However, Aemorus the Pegasus was a creature at the same level. The stallion merely sneered in disdain at Firindroth’s anger.
His actions turned out to be reasonable, as, despite the boost in physical attributes, the Fire Dragon Emperor failed to land a single hit against the noble white steed.
It even sustained a few minor injuries from Zeth, who took advantage of Firindroth’s fixation on her lover.
Unfortunately for the equine couple, it turned out that luck wasn’t on their side, as a random fireball that fired from one of the Fire Dragon’s orifices managed to hit the duchess, generating thick black smoke as she was sent rolling backward a few meters.
“My dear!” Aemorus exclaimed in worry.
‘Worry not, dear, I’m fine. A mere fireball wouldn’t be enough to take out someone like me.’ Zeth replied telepathically.
Shortly after, a dense white aura enveloped the stallion’s equine form, transforming Aemorus into a blinding light that was too intense to look at directly.
Firindroth was no exception.
“Red lizard, young Shye mentioned that you’d make an excellent puppet, so I was going easy on you,” the Pegasus spoke in a voice as cold as a wintry eve. “However, it seems I must disappoint my beloved’s master today…”
Zeth had been apart from Aemorus for a hundred and fifty years.
As a result, the two of them were not familiar with each other’s limits at present.

However, one thing was for certain: Aemorus had access to more resources than the Duchess of the Dusk.
Furthermore, his status as a half-familiar spirit allowed the white stallion to extract more strength from monstrous creature cores than a full-blooded monstrous creature like Firindroth.
As for exactly how strong Aemorus currently was, Zeth also wanted to know.
Thus, she let her beloved take revenge on her behalf, savoring the feeling of being protected by him—a sensation she hadn’t experienced in a century and a half.
“Keep talking, cursed stallion. I, Firindroth, will reveal your pretentious nature! For decades, you’ve been running from all the overlords. We have known for a long time that you aren’t as powerful as the rest of us!”
Naturally, the emperor of the mighty fire dragons wasn’t convinced that a mere equine would be stronger than it.
As a result, it neither felt threatened nor became wary of the white stallion.
Ablaze, Firindroth charged towards Aemorus’s location blindly, streams of flaming tornadoes shooting towards the stallion’s escape routes.
This forced the noble white steed to engage the mighty dragon emperor head-on.
Or so Firindroth thought…
Before the flame tornadoes reached their targets, Aemorus had already escaped, the blinding light vanishing briefly before reappearing behind the charging Fire Dragon Emperor.
In the next moment, the draconic overlord’s ‘fiery charge’ accelerated.
After all, the skill’s speed was boosted by a powerful kick from Aemorus, who shattered Firindroth’s tough scales as if they were paper.
As a result, the draconic emperor missed completely, ending up in one of the areas targeted by its flame tornadoes, though it only sustained mental damage from the humiliation of being struck by its own skill due to fire dragons possessing [Minor Fire Invulnerability] as a passive ability.
“You cursed st–?!”
Firindroth’s words were abruptly cut off as a golden sphere struck its face, sending it crashing to the ground.
Unfortunately, its suffering had only just begun.
Before it could even think about standing up, Aemorus descended upon it like a meteor, stomping on the draconic emperor with all four of its legs.
The impact shattered many of the Fire Dragon Emperor’s bones, causing it to roar in pain and spit blood.
Golden chains then extended from the white stallion’s wings, restraining Firindroth’s arms and wings against its body, rendering it completely immobilized.
Naturally, the draconic overlord tried its best to free itself from the golden chains, but to its surprise, the chains wouldn’t budge.
In the next moment, Aemorus manipulated his chains, slamming the Fire Dragon Emperor twice before flapping his wings, soaring into the sky, and lifting Firindroth along with him.
A golden magic circle appeared before Aemorus as he opened his mouth, channeling light energy for one powerful strike.
The Fire Dragon Emperor realized this and struggled frantically, but the chains remained steadfast, tightly binding the draconic overlord.
“Begone, red lizard.”
Two seconds later, a golden ray of light shot toward the draconic overlord’s heart, piercing through it like a hot knife through butter.
