Chapter 803: Hakkin The Mad
In the metallic hallways of the Hawkin Group’s Main Headquarters, the sounds of battle echoed through the second floor.
On one side stood the terrorists, concealed behind white masks and draped in black cloaks, while on the other stood the defenders, donning black masks and white cloaks adorned with a touch of gold.
“Commander Hakkin, Kirov here, reporting. The Hawkin Defenders on our side have already retreated. We’re moving to the rendezvous point now.”
“Understood,” Hakkin replied. “We’re almost done on our end too. See you at the rendezvous point.”
Strike Force One, led by the formidable Commander Hakkin, was relentlessly cutting through the Hawkin Defenders, advancing deeper into Dweezel’s main headquarters with each victory.
Hakkin and his vice commander, Kirov, were well-known in the organization for being strong combatants.
While they fell short of Maverick’s level of strategic expertise, their sheer strength, combined with that of their elite forces, had consistently been enough to see them through any challenging situation.
Even now, the formidable combat power of Hakkin’s Strike Force granted them victory against the Hawkin Defenders—and with relative ease.
Among the three Commanders involved in the operation, Hakkin was performing exceptionally well.
Before long, the commander and his vice commander regrouped at the rendezvous point, bringing their combined forces to a total of 1,500 elite troops.
Their mission was to kill as many defenders as they could while noting down the defensive mechanisms on each floor of the Hawkin Group Headquarters.
If confronted by an enemy force exceeding double their numbers, Hakkin and Kirov were to retreat without delay.
Another trigger for the retreat was if Maverick or Alicia issued the command.
Hence, Hakkin and his men had to strike lightning-fast; otherwise, they would achieve little in exploring the first few floors of the Hawkin Group Headquarters.
After securing another victory in a small-scale skirmish, Strike Force One raced through the hallways, only to face a massive force of 2,000 Hawkin Defenders, including 300 elite troops led by Squadron Captain Septo.
This was Septo’s opportunity to redeem himself for allowing the intruder to slip past him a few months ago.
With 2,300 troops in total, the Hawkin Defenders undoubtedly had the advantage in numbers.
However, unfortunately, such an advantage wasn’t enough to even make Commander Hakkin worry.
The terrorist commander and his 1,500 terrorist elites have long been comrades-in-arms, and they knew exactly how strong their strike force was.
Only 2,000 defenders and 300 elites? Nothing to be scared of!
No need to mention a total of 2,300 enemy troops, Hakkin and his men would even dare confront double their numbers, and if not for the strict orders that they are to retreat if they encountered such a huge army, they would’ve surely tested themselves, at the very least.
Soon, the battle between the “righteous” and “evil” forces began, both Septo and Hakkin charging in front with eager expressions.
One was for redemption, while the other sought to prove his superiority in combat.
Slashing their swords diagonally forward, Hakkin and Septo clashed, resulting in the latter’s minor loss.
As the metallic clanging noise echoed across the hallways, the elite squadron captain was sent skidding back for a few centimeters.
This naturally made the squadron captain frown.
As one of the squadron captains in the ten elite Hawkin Defender Squadrons, Septo was expected to hold his own against a Hadean Varsa Commander.
Given the outcome of their first encounter, the terrorist commander before him could only be one of four: Shye Crowley, Hakkin, Abaddon, or Yoseon.
It was known that Hadean Varsa had twenty commanders, but these four were by far the most formidable.
Septo himself ranked around fourth or fifth in terms of combat strength among the elite squadron captains of the Hawkin Group.

Hence, it was quite easy for him to deduce the identity of his opponent in just a single clash.
‘This commander should be quite the important one…’ he thought.
The next moment, the sounds of battle sounded once more as the two forces clashed.
It was quite evident, though, that the Hawkin Defenders were being slaughtered one-sidedly, with only Septo’s men being able to hold their ground against Hakkin’s elites.
Realizing this, Septo’s heart sank.
The regular Hawkin Defenders, too, trained rigorously, so the disparity in combat strength was truly rather difficult for him to believe.
However, the results spoke for themselves. He had to call for backup.
Quickly leaping back to evade a horizontal strike from Hakkin while creating some distance, Septo activated the emergency distress signal on his Hawkin Mana Communicator, alerting the other elite squadrons to his location.
Soon, two elite 300-man squadrons responded to his call—one arriving from behind Septo and the other from behind Hakkin.
The terrorist forces were now surrounded.
However, strangely, there were no signs of panic in their eyes. Heck, they even seemed excited to be in such a situation.
In response to the sudden appearance of an elite Hawkin Defender Squadron from behind, Hakkin calmly ordered 300 of his men, along with Kirov, to engage them.
He chose to face two elite squadron captains alone, along with just under 1,200 of his elites.
Although the numbers were now more or less equal, Hakkin and Kirov were at a disadvantage, missing a capable combatant on par with an elite Hawkin Squadron Captain.
If Hakkin loses against two commanders, Strike Force One would be in deep trouble.
Soon, the skirmish resumed, with Hakkin charging forward to lead his elites against Septo and Chavra—the squadron captain of Hawkin Elite Defender Squadron Five.
Faced with two competent opponents, the terrorist commander was fired up.
He swiftly demonstrated to Septo and Chavra why he earned the title of Hakkin the Mad.
Commander Hakkin fought ferociously with no regard for his life, often opting to willingly receive a blow to land an even fiercer hit to his opponent.
Soon enough, his crazy fighting style bore fruit.
Intimidated by the ferocity of the terrorist commander, Septo and Chavra’s teamwork grew increasingly flawed over time, leading to Chavra suffering a deep diagonal gash from his chest to his left waist.
To make matters worse, Septo distanced himself too far from Hakkin due to the commander’s reckless fighting style, preventing him from exploiting the wide opening in Hakkin’s defenses when he struck Chavra down.
With his comrade struggling to get up while vomiting blood, Septo could only grit his teeth.
He was now too scared to fight Hakkin alone!
Fortunately for him, just when he was drowning in fear, reluctance, and self-doubt, a voice sounded behind him.
“Move, Septo. I’ll be his opponent.”
