Chapter 821: Who’s This Little Imp?
[Strength: 1,920]
Was the attribute that caught his eye.
While Big Bruce’s other attributes were also higher than they should be, the Savage Ogre General’s raw strength was around four hundred points higher than what the others had.
It was then that Shye noticed a strange blessing in its appraisal window.
To be more accurate, the blessing was also somehow in the [Curses] category.
This was what it looked like:
[Blessings]: [God Of War’s Blessing]
[Curses]: [God Of War’s Blessing]
Of course, Shye tapped on both, though the information written on them was the same.

[God of War’s Blessing]
Blessed by the God of War, one is destined to vanquish countless foes on the battlefield, wielding immense strength granted by divine favor. Yet, such glory is inseparable from one’s doom. Like a mighty warrior, one will rise, and like a mighty warrior, one will fall.

Shye frowned slightly as Dallis walked past him, making her way toward the cave entrance, where his dragon army was gathering.
He couldn’t help but look at the two in pity, having an idea of what the future has in store for Big Bruce.
Sighing inwardly, Shye followed Dallis, while Big Bruce and the other Savage Ogre Generals returned to their quarters.
He couldn’t help but feel slightly guilty as he walked with Dallis toward the entrance of the cave.
Realizing something, Shye retrieved his greatswords from the inventory, ready to defend the young woman should the ogres around fail to recognize her.
To his surprise, the ogres they passed merely glanced at them briefly before resuming their activities.
It seemed that Dallis was quite well-known within the clan.
As for whether they knew if she was their Baba or not, he didn’t know, nor did he care.
Soon, the two of them arrived at the entrance.
Shye strode out boldly, while Dallis cautiously peeked her head out first before following, more out of instinct than fear.
After walking a few meters ahead, the young woman’s eyes widened, and her heart pounded with dread as she felt hundreds of terrifying gazes fixate on her.
It was as if those gazes were tangible, brushing against her and making her tremble with fear.
Summoning her courage to look up, her eyes widened, and her body trembled as if overwhelmed by the presence of a superior being.
There they were, a little over a hundred dragons of varying species staring at her.
Their gazes contained nothing more than curiosity.
Yet, it was enough to make the young woman feel as though she was tethering on the edges of life and death.
Without a doubt, many, if not all of her clanmates would die if they dared fight this army of dragons in an all-out battle.

Dallis felt relieved that she had made the right choice.
Now, not only would they have this terrifying army as an ally in the war six months from now, but they would also avoid a pointless battle that would only benefit their enemies.
Although their peaceful living would be temporarily disturbed while coexisting with such horrifying yet majestic monsters, it was but a small price to pay.
“Has Tarintus arrived?”
A voice sounded beside her.
Almost instantly, a huge thunder dragon with damaged yet incredibly hard purplish-blue scales landed in front of them and kneeled, leaving her dumbfounded—half in shock, half in fear.
She had never seen a dragon up close, much less an elder dragon.
It was common knowledge that the older a dragon became, the stronger it was among its kind.
However, this well-known rule had its limitations, as extremely old dragons inevitably became lazy and weak, while exceptionally talented young dragons proved to always be exceptions regardless of one’s race.
The Thunder Dragon named Tarintus, however, seemed to still be in his prime as an elder, commanding great respect from those around him.
It seemed to be the current leader of this dragon army, though Dallis sensed a few unconvinced and jealous gazes from a few other dragons when Shye called for the elder dragon.
Just as the young woman was wondering how Shye had convinced such a large group of dragons to fight for him, she heard the most unbelievable words she had ever heard in her life.
“Milord, I, Tarintus, am here.” the elder dragon said as it sincerely bowed towards Shye.
The dragons were serving a young human as their master?
Dallis naturally couldn’t believe what she had just heard, but her shock didn’t last long as her fangirl side quickly took over.
She watched the young man beside her with dreamy eyes, thinking: ‘Shye Crowley of the Black Dawn is truly peerless!’
Soon, though, she snapped back to reality upon hearing the conversation between Shye and Tarintus the Thunder Dragon.
“May I ask why Milord has summoned us?” the dragon continued and asked.
“The battle I mentioned will take place in six months, and I need you all to gather near the target city. I’ve found an underground roosting area for everyone. It’s a bit cramped, but make do for now, and help the ogres expand the cave for everyone’s comfort. I’ll be going out to expand our army and, hopefully, find a commander that everyone will accept.” Shye explained.
Of course, Tarintus was dissatisfied with the arrangement.
However, as an elder dragon, it had lived in this world for hundreds of years and had seen many things.
While it disdained ogres due to their stupidity, dragons at least innately respected their raw strength.
Coexisting for a short while shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
“Hmm…I understand, master.” the elder thunder dragon began, “Will those ogres join us in battle?”
“Yes, although they wouldn’t be directly under my control, they would indeed be helping us in the war,” Shye confirmed.
“I understand. Then, I will do my best to keep the younger ones in check while the master searches for a suitable leader. While I am strong in combat, there are a few here who could match me, and I’m sure they wouldn’t be content with me ranking above them. I fully support the master’s decision to find a fitting leader.”
The reason why Shye temporarily made Tarintus the leader of his dragon army was exactly due to his logical nature.
Although the elder thunder dragon was also powerful and proud, it remained oddly logical, especially considering that Thunder Dragons were known to be second only to Fire Dragons in their hot-headedness.
Tarintus was even aware that he couldn’t lead the dragon army and had accepted this reality, despite his innate pride.
Shye nodded at the elder dragon in appreciation of its understanding nature and was about to look for Nookie to give the little necrollin some instructions before leaving.
However, before he could do so…
“I have one more question, master,” Tarintus suddenly added. “Who’s this little imp, and why is it acting so bossy? Can I squish it?”
