Chapter 857: Decisive Victory
A few moments later, the artificial world glitched once again, and the silent darkness enveloped the Hadean Varsa elites once more.
However, this time, there was no sense of unease in their hearts, as they were mostly merely curious about what would happen next.
It didn’t take long for the black world to once again change, and the elites found themselves standing in the middle of an incredibly vast plain—small flora stretching to the horizon.
Bustling cities then suddenly appeared one after another, leaving the elites wide-eyed in surprise.
They immediately recognized the ten cities—the ones they were targeting for the unsealing operation.
Unbelievably, despite the unimaginable difficulty of replicating a single city, the Supreme One somehow managed to replicate all ten, though they were all positioned neatly across the vast plains.
Nonetheless, the cities were perfectly replicated: the wide streets, the towering establishments, the working commoners, children chasing each other through narrow alleys, and even high-ranked adventurers coming and going from their guild headquarters.
Everything was imitated to perfection.
The curious elites, captains, and commanders who had the capability to fly or momentarily reach extreme heights immediately used their skills to inspect the cities of their choice.
Sanada, who was naturally proud of his immaculate masterpiece, didn’t stop them.
Shye was among those who flew, immediately heading towards the replica of Valenzia City.
Having been born and raised in Valenzia, he had explored almost every nook and cranny of Valenzia City.
Hence, upon realizing that the city had been copied to perfection—including the members of Raven’s Blade going in and out of the guild headquarters—Shye couldn’t help but be amazed.
The old man truly was something.
The sheer patience required to gather detailed information about every adventurer inhabiting the capital of each city was already a horrifying task, and Shye couldn’t help but admire the old man’s dedication.
It must have taken at least a decade to create such a high-quality simulation dome.
“Don’t get too close, or each city’s security devices will detect you and the defenders will attack.” Sanada sternly warned.
Each simulation was terrifyingly expensive, and resetting the entire system would incur a significant cost.
He couldn’t allow his men to ruin the simulation out of curiosity; they would be able to fully appreciate the magnificence of his invention in just a few more minutes anyway.
Fearful of ruining the simulation, the elites quickly returned to their positions on the vast plain, leaving only the confident captains and commanders, like Shye, to spend a few more moments inspecting the fascinating simulated cities before also returning to their positions.
Sanada then scanned his eyes over his men—the upper half of his face hidden under his chilling, black hermit mask.
‘Good, they’re enthusiastic.’ the old man thought inwardly.
“Commanders, I assume you already know your missions. Let’s not waste any more time—begin the operation simulation! Valenzia Strike Force, into position!”
The commanders’ unserious expressions were suddenly replaced with cold sternness upon hearing the old terrorist leader’s words, leaving the elites both amazed by the other commanders and proud of their own, though there were naturally a few exceptions like Chaos, Cobra, and Shye—extremely confident individuals.
A few minutes later, the Cobra, Grover, Alicia, and Hurkan Units, along with the specifically requested reinforcements from nearly half of the Black Dawn Unit, got into position.
With Ian at the helm, Seira’s warrior squadron and Harry’s mage squadron remained undetected on the outskirts of Valenzia City, stationed just a kilometer away from the Alicia Unit’s hiding spot.
After a few more moments, a black smoke signal was fired skywards by Vice Commander Viper.
The operation simulation has begun.
The Cobra Unit served as the main force of the Valenzia Strike Force, tasked with drawing the attention of Valenzia City’s strongest defenders—a job they easily accomplished as they approached the simulated main gate.
With continuous loud bangs, the towering adamantite gate at Valenzia City’s main entrance rumbled and quickly collapsed under the intense fire of the Cobra Unit’s mage squadrons.

The simulated guards panicked—their reactions extremely lifelike—as the gate crashed to the ground.
They scrambled to form lines to defend against the incoming Hadean Varsa Forces.
Unfortunately, the wall guards’ strength ranged only from high-emerald to low-mithril.
There was no way they could hold back a raging tide of elites, whose weakest member possessed the prowess of a low-adamantite adventurer, with such a clumsily formed line.
Like pebbles thrown with force, they were sent flying backward by a fierce swing of Cobra’s cutlass.
They couldn’t even hold their position for five seconds.
With their ferocious commander creating an opening, the Cobra elites swarmed in, advancing as planned—warrior squadrons in front, ranged squadrons behind.
Meanwhile, the scout squadrons split into small teams and infiltrated the dark alleys of Valenzia City like a cancer.
They ruthlessly slaughtered anyone who dared stand before them, leaving a trail of corpses with spine-chilling neck wounds in their wake.
It wasn’t until ten minutes had passed that the Cobra Unit encountered resistance they couldn’t break through as easily as expected.
A small band of three hundred high-ranked adventurers, led by the renowned adamantite-ranked Kervin Han—ranked fifteenth on the Valenzian Adamantite Ranking—intercepted them, preventing the Cobra Unit’s seventh warrior and mage squadron from breaking through the third street.
It wasn’t a significant resistance, but it for sure slowed down the Cobra Unit’s advance.
This gave time for the WAA Valenzia Headquarters’ defenders to respond.
Unfortunately, only a simulated Elysia Iceborne of the Eternal Frost, and the three titled adventurers—Radiant Sentinel, Piercing Zephyr, and Midnight Fang— were there to hold the fort.
The fall of Valenzia was inevitable.
After fifteen minutes, the Grover Unit began attacking the west gate, while the Hurkan Unit breached the south gate, and the Alicia Unit, along with nearly half of the Black Dawn, invaded from the east.
Elysia and her forces courageously faced the Cobra Unit.
Unfortunately, despite their efforts to hold the fort against the raging tide of Cobra elites, they were overwhelmed within ten minutes of combat.
Cobra wasn’t able to slay Elysia alone, and it seemed like it would take a long time before he could do so.
However, with Viper—a scout-class combatant—by his side, the simulated Elysia’s neck soon separated from her body, falling alongside her men in front of Director Belford’s office.
Old Midnight Fang was slain by Alicia near the east gate, Commander Grover ruthlessly cut Piercing Zephyr in half after a lengthy battle at the west gate, and Hurkan captured the lone Radiant Sentinel after wiping out his forces on Seventh Street, near the southern part of Valenzia City.
Naturally, with their top combatants eliminated, Valenzia fell.
