Chapter 243: Buff title : Sacred Pillar of the Universe
Lein then explained to them about his promotion to master level, and he also recounted the events he experienced when entering the portal. He informed them that the realm they currently resided in, the Divine Sky Realm, was in the process of merging with the Cosmos Origin.
Lein also told them that they would not be able to use the portal to travel to other realms temporarily.
“What? Cosmos Origin?” Nita asked in surprise. It was the first time she had heard those words. Even Nita, who was still sulking, paid a little attention to Lein’s explanation.
“Yes, I think it’s a larger place beyond the Divine Sky Realm,” Lein explained after considering it. He felt that the Cosmos Origin was where all realms existed.
“Makes sense, Brother Lein, just like when we were still on Earth, planets are located in a galaxy,” Laras chimed in.
“Yes, you’re right, Laras,” Lein nodded in agreement. He then shifted his gaze to Nita, who was still pouting. He then said,
“Nita, what’s wrong?”
Nita remained silent, giving an indifferent look.
Lein ignored her again, feeling that Nita had become very spoiled lately. Such a trivial matter resulted in her acting like this. As Lein’s power increased, he increasingly realized that only he could truly be relied upon. He wanted Nita to be the same way, not depending on him as her big brother.
“Chat among yourselves for a bit; I’d like to check the changes in my status first,” Lein said to the girls. He winked slightly at Laras, hinting for her to try and coax Nita back to normal.
“Alright, Brother Lein.”
The girls then approached Nita and tried to comfort her. Laras was the first to speak.
“Nita, do you want a hug? Come here, hug me,” Laras spread her arms, ready to embrace her at any moment.
Not only Laras, but Hana and Elen also spread their arms, as if coaxing a little child, all waiting for Nita to choose one of them.
“Haha… thank you.”
Nita tried to keep her sulking mood but couldn’t. Seeing the three of them made her feel sad to ignore them, so she then ran to hug the nearest one, Laras, followed by Elen, and then Hana.
The three girls then hugged and started a girlish conversation.
Lein didn’t pay attention to the girls’ actions; his gaze was focused on his attribute panel.

[Orb Island]
Lein felt a surge of power explode within him, energy overflowing to the point he almost struggled to control it. “Wow… my attributes instantly increased by 50,000!” he thought in amazement, nearly doubling his power in a mere moment.
Lein’s gaze then shifted to the title he had just acquired, and he immediately opened the description panel for the new title.
(Sacred Pillar of the Universe) A title obtained by becoming the first ruler to reach the master level. Gains the sacred power of holy beings and becomes one of them.
– Attribute +50%
– Reduces damage below master level by 90%
– Soul Energy +50%
“No wonder it went up by more than 50,000; there’s an additional 50% attribute increase,” Lein muttered excitedly. So, if the 50% attribute increase was removed, his average attributes would only reach around 50,000 each. Thus, the 50% attribute increase gave him an additional 20,000 attributes in each stat.
“It feels great to be special,” Lein said with a bit of pride. Only he had received a 50% attribute boost. Of course, this only applied to the Divine Sky Realm; Lein wasn’t too concerned with other realms at the moment.
Lein stared at the panel with a furrowed brow when he saw the added soul energy in the “Sacred Pillar of the Universe” description.
“Soul energy?” he murmured softly, then opened his soul altar panel to check. There, in the soul energy column, was a number that brought a faint smile to his lips.
(Soul Altar – Universe)
– EXP: +100%
– Attribute: +100%
– Soul Energy: 15,000
– Skill cooldown reduction: +50%
– Souls: (Blood Voidtail Primate – S), (Cosmic Howler – S), …
– Soul Tier Limit: SS
– Altar Range: 1 realm
– Soul Capacity Limit: 1,000 souls
– Soul Attribute Bonus: 100%
[Activate]
Lein nodded in satisfaction, understanding that without his new buff, his energy would remain at 10,000. However, something more important awaited him now: he had to test all this power on a real battlefield.
His eyes shifted to the girls in front of him. “So, what’s your next plan?” he asked in a calm tone.
Nita scoffed, crossing her arms as she looked at Lein. “We’re leaving. You can handle this yourself,” she replied shortly, her tone clearly reflecting irritation.
Unlike Nita, Laras gave a small smile and then looked at him gently. “What’s your next plan, Brother Lein?” she asked with genuine concern.
Lein gave a faint smile. “I’ll test out my new powers. Is there an area that still needs help?”
Hana, standing beside Laras, quickly chimed in, “The island to the east of the Divine Sky Realm is still in crisis, Sir. Dion’s forces are headed there, but they might need extra help.”
Lein nodded, preparing to depart. “Alright, then we part ways here.”
Laras and Hana nodded, while Nita still looked half-hearted. “Very well, Brother Lein. Be careful. Contact us if you need assistance,” they said in unison.
Lein glanced at Nita and spoke with a warning tone, “Nita, don’t make things difficult for them, okay?”
“Yes, Brother,” Nita replied quickly, this time without the usual sarcasm.
Lein could only shrug, a bit surprised by her sudden compliance. He waved, then turned and headed toward the car already prepared to take him to the port.

On a fairly large island, several groups of soldiers gathered under tall trees, their faces serious as they listened to instructions. In front of them, a young man stood, his right hand resting casually at his side, revealing a deep black tattoo on his wrist—a symbol denoting his role as the leader of this mission.
The young man gazed at the soldiers one by one, ensuring they were paying attention. Then, with a calm yet authoritative voice, he began to speak. “This time, our goal is to blend in as the local beings of this realm. The Guardian estimates that a talented holy child has been born here.”
He paused, letting his words sink in. “So, we will move discreetly, without drawing attention. Gather the humans in this realm when the opportunity arises. We’ll take advantage without creating disturbances.”
One of the soldiers in the front row, a rough-faced man with a prominent scar on his cheek, raised his hand. His muscles looked tense, and his battle-scarred face gave a fierce impression. However, his tone remained respectful as he asked, “What are the signs of the holy child, Sir? And what should we do if we encounter them?”
The young man glanced at the soldier briefly before looking back at the entire force. “There are no clear, specific signs to recognize the holy child,” he said casually, as though he was someone deeply familiar with this world. “However, one thing is certain—they are exceptionally strong.”
He paused for a moment, then continued in a calm tone. “If you encounter them, make sure you’re not on the enemy side. Try to welcome them, offer assistance, and make them believe we’re on their side in fighting other races. Be honest in telling them we wish to form a mutually beneficial alliance.”
Each word he spoke sounded so fluent, almost without hesitation. The young man issued his orders as if he were the Guardian himself, someone who had planned this mission for a long time and understood every detail.
“Yes, Sir!”
“Understood, Sir.”
The voices of the soldiers echoed in unison, expressing their respect for the young man, none daring to challenge his directives. They stood upright, fully committed to the plan he had laid out.
The young man nodded briefly, then gave a signal to disperse. “Remember, no mistakes are allowed. Now, move.”
This situation was not limited to just that island; leaders from outside the Divine Realm were also strategizing to seize opportunities from this initial assault.
They came with a variety of forces, ideas, and objectives. It was not uncommon for beings from other realms to engage in deadly battles amongst themselves to seize advantage.
