Floating Island - Triple S Talent - Chapter 398
Chapter 398: Legendary quest
The Seed Store was known as one of the most influential trading entities in the Divine Sky Realm. Their reputation stood firmly on the principles of fairness and strict regulations they imposed upon themselves. It was impossible for an organization that upheld order to deal with a world ruled by darkness.
Such discussions were just one of many conversations taking place among the nobles. They were always looking for opportunities to gain advantages and establish new businesses in the Divine Sky Realm. Even among the Elves, a few individuals were seen devising strategies, though not as aggressively as the Cui race.
In one of the seating areas, the disciples of the Eternal Swan Sect sat in rows alongside an elder. Their expressions were relaxed, as if there was nothing to worry about.
“I don’t see any disciples from this realm with a Nascent Soul cultivation level. Where are they?” asked a girl in a puzzled tone. She had scanned the entire seating area but found no uniformed disciples above the Golden Core level.
“Calm down… If Elder Wen said that we would also be fighting, then believe it,” replied another female disciple with a gentle voice.
“Yes, Rong Yu, just wait and prepare yourself. Don’t you want a Heaven-tier artifact?” said a burly man, his tone full of confidence.
Hearing those words, Rong Yu’s eyes sparkled. “A Heaven-tier artifact? I’ll get one?” she asked eagerly.
Their discussion continued. Meanwhile, among them, a male disciple sat quietly beside the elder. His face was cold as ice, and his sharp eyes observed the main stage without expression. Unlike the others, he did not engage in conversation, merely listening in silence.
“Senior Brother, how are you feeling? Are you worried?” Rong Yu teased, trying to get his attention.
The young man slowly shifted his gaze. His eyes were calm yet deep, as if holding something that could not be expressed in words. “Yes, I’m a little worried,” he answered without hesitation.
Rong Yu widened her eyes. The other disciples who heard his response were equally stunned. No one expected their senior brother, someone who always seemed unshakable, to say something like that.
“Are you serious?” asked the elder sitting beside him, now looking at him with greater attention.
“Yes, Sir. I don’t know why,” he replied plainly.
The elder nodded slowly before saying, “Hmm… Very well. I will inform Elder Wen later. For now, try to stay focused.”
“Understood, Sir.”
His friends were still looking at him in shock, but he ignored them. His gaze returned to the floating blue panel in front of him.
“Legendary quest… S-rank Soul reward?” he murmured to himself.
The writing on the panel was crystal clear, glowing within his consciousness. The quest required him to become the champion of this duel. However, instead of feeling confident, uncertainty filled his heart.
He still didn’t know who his opponents would be. What was certain was that they were not the uniformed disciples in the distance—those were only at the Golden Core (Tier-3) level. If that was the case, then the real enemies had yet to appear… and that was what unsettled him.
If the reward was this significant, then the opponents would not be easy. Otherwise, he wouldn’t feel this worried. Before departing, he had full confidence in victory and did not take this journey too seriously. But now, that feeling had changed.
“I hope everything goes well,” he murmured hopefully. By obtaining this S-rank soul, his soul altar would be complete with six, and he would reach the Nascent Soul – 6 Souls stage.
Elsewhere, a similar situation unfolded among the disciples of other sects. Their elders had informed them of the rewards they would receive if they won this duel. More than just an incentive, the prizes were guaranteed directly by the Guardian.
The sect disciples were filled with burning determination, but beneath that, some also felt anxious. A few of them had never fought against ‘players’ directly. It was natural for them to feel nervous and worried.
However, no matter what happened, the event had to go on. As the stands neared full capacity, a loud voice suddenly echoed from the main stage.
“Hello… good afternoon!”
The shout resounded throughout the arena, amplified by speakers installed in various corners.
A woman stepped forward confidently to the center of the stage. She wore a black-and-white uniform that elegantly outlined her silhouette. Her long blonde hair shimmered under the light, swaying gently with her movements. With a bright smile, she raised a sheet of paper in her right hand.
“My name is Isabel, and I will be guiding this event until the end… Nice to meet you!” she exclaimed enthusiastically before bowing in all directions as a sign of respect.
Isabel’s face immediately appeared on the giant screen hanging above the stage. Her golden hair fluttered softly, her eyes sparkled with excitement. At a glance, she looked like a living doll, mesmerizing in her beauty.
“Huhuhu… please look at me, miss!”

“Damn… she’s gorgeous. Does anyone know her social media account?”
The murmurs among the male audience grew louder, with some instantly trying to find information about Isabel. The sounds of whispers and admiration filled the stands.
But it wasn’t just humans who were captivated. The foreign races also gazed at the screen with fascinated eyes.
“Is that girl an elf? Her golden hair is even more beautiful than the usual silver-haired elves.”
“Yeah… I want to marry her!”
Despite their racial differences, all the men seemed to share the same thought. Isabel’s beauty united them in mutual admiration.
After standing on the stage for a few moments, Isabel straightened her posture and swept her gaze across the entire arena. Her eyes were sharp, full of energy.
“The event will start in 30 minutes!” she announced. “While we wait, let’s enjoy the welcoming performance prepared for our guests!”
As soon as she finished speaking, Isabel lightly leaped into the air—and in an instant, her figure vanished from the stage, leaving a mysterious impression on everyone who witnessed it.
