Chapter 424: Promotion Requirements
However, Orin did not remain idle.
His golden energy flared, surrounding him like a slowly rotating galaxy. In an instant, the radiance expanded, filling the empty space with pulsating light. Waves of aura emanating from him shook the dimension that Drathos was trying to suppress. Fine cracks appeared amidst the previously stable flow of space energy, spreading like glowing nerves in the void.
The other four Kings did not remain idle either.
Lady Sylva, the masked woman in green, raised her hands high. Her body glowed with divine light, forming a dense green cloud that enveloped a vast area with an overwhelming aura of life.
On the other side, General Raikov stepped forward. His originally two-meter-tall body began to expand, transforming into a humanoid giant with a silver body that shimmered like liquid mercury. Metallic black and bright blue lights radiated from him, and slowly, a large funnel began to form on his chest. The humming sound of gathered energy signaled that a space-shattering projectile was about to be launched.
From a distance, Lein watched the battle with glowing eyes.
“Lord Lein, I believe we should leave this place immediately,” Aleron’s voice carried a hint of tension. Even Tauriel, usually cold and indifferent, nodded in agreement.
Lein remained silent for a moment. He understood the danger before him. However, his desire to board the Caravan Ship was even greater. There had to be many valuable treasures aboard—perhaps even the item he needed.
“Is it difficult to find another Caravan Ship?” he asked, curious.
Aleron pondered for a moment before answering, “The nearest Dominion from here is Dominion Nexus. Typically, a Caravan Ship only arrives once every thousand years.”
Tauriel gave Lein a sharp look, as if reading his thoughts. “What is it, Lord Lein? Even if the item you seek is there, the price will surely be exorbitant.”
Lein gave a faint smile. Price was not an issue for him. What concerned him was obtaining the materials needed to break through the First-Tier King boundary. Quickly, he opened his status panel.

At the bottom of the panel, the promotion requirements were clearly listed.

Lein examined the list carefully. Out of the six requirements, he already possessed the last four. The Divine Core and Nature Core were obtained directly from Aleron, and with his duplication ability, he could easily replicate them.
However, the Cosmic Core remained a problem.
Though not as complex as Void Essence, it was still a rare commodity among the Kings. Without the Cosmic Core, he could not advance to the next tier. And the best place to acquire it… was most likely within the Caravan Ship.
Looking at the numbers on his status panel, Lein felt a tinge of apprehension. With attributes already exceeding four million each, he considered himself immensely powerful. In fact, compared to Aleron, his stats were slightly higher. Yet, in the presence of five Kings and a Pirate King battling near the Caravan Ship, the pressure was overwhelming.
“Is there no other way, Lord Aleron? This is a golden opportunity to encounter the Caravan,” Lein asked, searching for any possible opening.
Aleron remained silent, contemplating for a moment before replying, “It’s not that we can’t… but whether we can enter the Caravan or not depends on the outcome of their battle.”
Lein gazed at the escalating battle. The energies of Drathos and the five Caravan Kings clashed, creating massive ripples that vibrated through the empty space.
Aleron took a deep breath, then retrieved something from his spatial ring. “I truly cannot do much, Lord Lein… However, I do have this.”
In his hand now lay a silver token, gleaming under the cosmic light.
“This is the Silver Token of the Orichalcos Caravan. With this token, Lord Lein can enter any Caravan affiliated with Orichalcos anywhere in the universe. Token holders are considered honored guests and will not be suspected as intruders, even under these circumstances.”
Lein took the token and examined it immediately.
[ Orichalcos Caravan Token ] An exclusive token granted to honored guests of the Orichalcos Caravan. Only those recognized by the Caravan leaders may receive this symbol of honor.
– Recipient: Aleron Zhen
– Benefits: 2% price discount
– Services: Mid-tier, Free living expenses
Lein frowned. “Tch… it can’t be duplicated,” he muttered internally. The token was directly linked to its owner, so even if he replicated it, it would remain unusable.
“Thank you, Lord Aleron, but it won’t be necessary.” Lein returned the token and let out a long sigh. He knew there was no point in forcing the matter this time.
“Alright, let’s leave,” he finally said.
Without wasting time, Lein gathered his energy. In an instant, they all vanished from where they stood, returning to their space vessel. Lein concentrated his energy and activated space teleportation.
Zap—
Amidst the empty void rippling from the Kings’ battle, Lein’s space vessel disappeared without disturbance.
In the distance, Grandmaster Orin narrowed his eyes, sensing something.
“A sacred human?” he murmured softly. When Lein used his element, Orin had briefly felt a unique aura—one resembling the energy of a sacred being.
“Where do you think you’re running?!” Drathos shouted from above. His red eyes glowed as he drew a spatial bow, aiming with deadly precision.
But before he could release his attack, Orin’s aura erupted. A wave of energy, like a cosmic tsunami, blocked his vision, making Drathos growl in frustration.

In the middle of the silent void, a massive ship, spanning a kilometer in length, suddenly emerged from within a dimly glowing rift. Flickering bluish-purple lights lined its edges, resembling shattered glass cascading into darkness. As the ship fully emerged, the rift began to shrink and slowly vanished, leaving them adrift in the boundless void.
Lein opened his eyes and immediately circulated his energy, wrapping his body in a fine stream of power to assess his surroundings. The scenery that greeted him was no different from the usual empty space—dark, with a sea of tiny stars twinkling in the distance.
However, something about it unsettled him.
