Floating Island - Triple S Talent - Chapter 425
Chapter 425: Realm Bubble
Around the ship, several bubbles floated aimlessly, like giant soap bubbles drifting in the void. The closest one had a diameter of about ten meters, resembling a transparent crystal sphere with shifting iridescent colors within. Lein sharpened his gaze. Beneath its shimmering surface, glimpses of miniature worlds unfolded—towering mountains, vast rippling oceans, and ancient forests that seemed to breathe in the darkness.
“Huft… thank goodness.”
Aleron’s heavy voice broke the silence. The man let out a long sigh, his shoulders sagging slightly as if a great weight had just been lifted from his chest.
Lein frowned. “What’s wrong?”
Aleron glanced at him before replying in a casual tone, though there was a subtle tension beneath his words. “We emerged in a no-governance area. Otherwise, the Dominion’s sentinels would already be hunting us down.”
Lein nodded in understanding, while Tauriel, standing near the navigation panel, added, “Besides, if we had appeared in a chaotic space, getting out would have been extremely difficult. Some groups never return.”
Lein remained silent, letting the information sink in. He knew that Aleron and Tauriel had far more experience in interdimensional travel, and for now, he could only observe and learn. However, his attention was drawn back to the strange bubbles floating around them.
He narrowed his eyes. “What are those, Lord Aleron? Are these what they call Realm Bubbles?”
Aleron nodded with a slight smirk. “Yes. These bubbles are like miniature worlds, but they don’t contain humans. Only beasts and wild creatures survive inside.”
Lein crossed his arms, his gaze sharpening. “So, we can enter them?”
“Of course.” Aleron turned with a challenging expression. “Want to take a closer look?”
Lein didn’t answer immediately. His mind raced, weighing the possibilities and risks. But his curiosity and desire to understand this place outweighed his caution. Finally, he nodded. “Yes.”
Slowly, their ship moved closer to the largest bubble in front of them. As they neared, Lein felt a faint energy wave emanating from its surface, almost like a slow heartbeat. Suddenly, an information panel appeared before him, floating in the air without a sound.
[Realm Bubble]
– Realm Level: D
– Minimum Tier: King 1
– Maximum Individuals: 100
– Completion: 0%
– Time Limit: 1 Year
– Ticket: 1
Lein stared at the panel with a furrowed brow. At a glance, this information reminded him of the Branch: Enhancement, where they had previously obtained a mysterious ticket without knowing its purpose. Now, everything was starting to make sense—the ticket was access to places like this.
However, something about it unsettled him. He shifted his gaze to Aleron. “Why have I never seen bubbles like this in the Divine Sky Realm?”
Aleron smirked slightly, as if he had already anticipated the question. With a relaxed motion, he raised a finger and pointed downward. “Where do you think these bubbles come from?”
Lein paused, trying to decipher the meaning. “They appear on their own?”
Aleron shook his head slightly. “Half correct,” he said, then repeated the gesture, this time with a more profound look in his eyes. “These bubbles come from below.”
Lein’s confusion deepened. “Below?”
Aleron nodded. “The Divine Sky Realm doesn’t have these bubbles because they haven’t had time to emerge yet. Usually, it takes one to three years for a newly born realm to start attracting bubbles like these.”
Lein nodded in understanding. That explained why he hadn’t found any when searching with his divine awareness. Even so, another question nagged at his mind. If these bubbles could form naturally, was it possible that someone—or something—could accelerate or even control their emergence?
Aleron turned to him again. “So? Want to go in?”
Lein shook his head. “No need. I already have a Realm Core. We should continue searching for the Cosmic Heart.”

Besides, if they entered, only the three of them could go in while the rest would be left outside. It was too risky. Leaving the crew unprotected in the middle of the void was not a wise choice, especially since they had no idea what dangers lurked in the emptiness.
Aleron didn’t object to the decision. With practiced movements, he pulled out his stone compass, performing a search ritual. Slowly, the ancient symbols on its surface glowed dimly. Before long, the stone at the center began to tremble violently before finally pointing west.
“This time, it should be correct,” he said with an optimistic tone. The stone’s vibrations felt stronger than before—a sign that the Cosmic Heart was near.
Their massive ship rumbled slightly before soaring through the void once more. There was no sound, only a smooth shift that was barely noticeable, as if they were drifting along an invisible current. The scattered starlight in the distance seemed frozen, forming an unchanging pattern despite their rapid movement.
A month passed.
Life aboard the ship had become routine for Lein and the others. Days passed without much change, filled only with conversations, training, and occasional explorations around the ship to stave off boredom.
On one side of the ship, Aleron sat leisurely on the cold metal deck, one leg folded while his hands held a fishing rod whose line disappeared into the void. The ship’s dim lights illuminated his calm face, highlighting the slight furrow in his brow.
Lein appeared beside him, carrying two cups of steaming coffee. The bitter aroma wafted through the air. He handed one cup to Aleron before sitting down next to him.
“How’s it going? Any bites?” he asked, taking a sip of his warm coffee. The bitter taste, mixed with a hint of sweetness, instantly warmed his throat.
Aleron exhaled softly, his eyes still fixed on the void. “Impossible. We’re too far from civilization.”
The cold wind from outside was biting, even though they were within the ship’s energy barrier. Lein also gazed ahead, into the dark sea of nothingness. In the distance, faint stars twinkled weakly, like candles on the verge of going out.
“The last time I ventured this far was during a major event in Dominion Zenith,” Aleron said, his eyes narrowing slightly as if recalling an old memory.
Lein nodded occasionally, listening to Aleron’s story. Some parts sounded incredible, almost like a legend, but he didn’t interrupt. Let the man tell his tale, like an old fisherman sharing stories on a quiet night.
Aleron continued speaking, his eyes gleaming faintly. In his voice, there was something he couldn’t hide—a longing for the past.
Lein gave a small smile. Despite the dangers of their journey, moments like these made him feel truly alive.
