Floating Island - Triple S Talent - Chapter 480
Chapter 480: Altar soul
Starlight crashed to the ground like meteors streaking through the sky at unimaginable speed. The shockwave was so immense that Laras could feel the ripple of energy trembling in the Void, spreading beneath her feet.
“Who… is that?” she whispered, barely believing what she had just witnessed.
Her heart pounded harder. Was that another clone of Lein?
There was hope in her eyes—a hope that the one who had arrived was an ally. But she couldn’t be sure.
Thankfully, she had teleported a good distance away earlier. Had she been any closer, she might have been caught in the destruction, becoming a burden to the clone of Lein now standing by her side.
Even though she had avoided the direct impact of the attack, the anxiety in her chest didn’t subside. What exactly was happening over there? And more importantly—what was about to come next?
Far off in the distance, Clone Lein stood tall above the Void, his gaze fixed coldly on the black-robed man below. From the darkness, a rain of cosmic light descended with thunderous roars, exploding one after another as it struck the ground. The constellation that had formed in the sky radiated a majestic light, hanging high above the manifestation zone before it began to fall.
Clone Lein’s aura pulsed in all directions, matching the overwhelming pressure radiated by the black-robed man—one of the second-tier King Lords. The Void around them trembled violently, a testament to the colossal powers colliding.
As the constellation plummeted downward, the black-robed figure moved swiftly, both hands forming complex seals in the Void. Instantly, a massive black shield materialized around him, composed of seven layers stacked like an impenetrable dome.
The first constellation struck the first layer.
Crack!
The layer shattered immediately, like glass thrown to the ground.
The next detonations followed—layers two and three collapsed just as easily, as if they were no more than brittle panes of glass before the force of cosmic power. But by the time the fourth layer was struck, the shield finally held. The light from the constellation dimmed, losing momentum as its energy drained away.
Clone Lein did not move. As if expecting this, he simply raised his hand and—
In an instant—
Another constellation appeared.
But this time, the light it emitted was brighter, and the pressure it released was far more terrifying. Within the blink of an eye, the star plunged like a divine spear of light.
Crack!
Boom!
The fourth shield layer shattered into pieces.
The fifth, sixth, and seventh didn’t last much longer. Cracks spread like spiderwebs before they finally burst in a tremendous explosion, leaving the black-robed man exposed in the aftermath.
With no protection left, his sturdy form was clearly visible beneath his tattered robes. His eyes widened, his face pale as he stared upward in fear.
“You’re not allowed to run.”
Clone Lein’s voice was calm, yet carried an air of absolute certainty.
As if understanding the warning, the black-robed man quickly raised his hand, preparing to open a rift and flee. But Lein moved faster.
Four massive swords appeared in the Void.
Holy light radiated from their blades, casting blinding golden rays. The swords plunged at tremendous speed, slamming into the ground at four corners of the manifestation zone. In an instant, their energy linked, forming a barrier that sealed the enemy within an unbreakable circle.
Clone Lein remained alert. He knew that even though the barrier was strong, there was still a high chance his opponent could break through it.
And sure enough—
The black-robed figure vanished in an instant.

Lein’s brow furrowed. “Damn… troublesome,” he muttered, full of displeasure.
His eyes scanned the battlefield, searching for his opponent. He spotted him several meters away, standing leisurely and waving his hand.
Suddenly, the Void changed.
An overwhelming pressure slammed into Clone Lein from all directions. His body felt as though it was being pushed down by a force he couldn’t resist.
Fortunately, he still had the buff from Skill 3: Area of Light. Without it, he might’ve been crushed to the ground.
“Let’s try this…” he whispered.
In an instant, the space around him transformed.
A holographic universe formed, stars big and small glowing across a vast radius, stretching outward as if shaping an entirely new dimension.
Clone Lein’s aura surged drastically. The gravitational force from the domain created by the black-robed figure immediately vanished—as if it had never existed. The space around them rippled, forming invisible waves that swept across the battlefield.
“Come forth,” Clone Lein murmured, his voice quiet yet resolute.
In an instant, his four S-rank souls emerged, their auras so powerful that the surrounding Void trembled. In the distance, the black-robed man tensed slightly. His eyes, hidden beneath the shadow of his hood, narrowed.
“A universe-tier domain? Who are you?” His voice was hoarse, a mix of shock and disbelief.
Earlier, he had been confident in facing Clone Lein, dismissing him as a minor threat at the first-stage King Lord level. But after several clashes, Lein’s power had continued to climb, now nearly matching his own. And now, with such an expansive and terrifying domain, the black-robed man realized he was no longer facing an opponent to be underestimated.
With a casual motion, he raised both hands. Deep red aura surged from his palms, pulsing like flames fueled by rage. Slowly, the red light intensified, the surrounding temperature rising sharply, creating bursts of energy that lashed through the Void.
Then, without warning, two glowing red magic orbs shot toward Lein.
Clone Lein remained calm. In an instant, Blood Voidtail Primate—his first soul—leapt forward, its massive body intercepting the attack. Its long chain tail swung, smashing into both magical orbs with overwhelming force.
Boom!
A violent explosion rocked the Void, sending shockwaves that cracked the ground below. Clone Lein immediately raised his hand, forming a barrier before the blast could reach him.
“Blood Voidtail Primate…” he muttered in concern.
Thick smoke slowly cleared, revealing the colossal figure of the Blood Voidtail Primate, its body covered in wounds. But the injuries didn’t last long—its flesh pulsed, the open gashes quickly beginning to heal.
Clone Lein narrowed his eyes. He could feel his soul energy draining rapidly.
“So you’re consuming my soul energy to regenerate, huh?” he thought. He clenched his teeth. If this continued, his energy would be exhausted before the battle was over.
In the distance, the black-robed figure raised his hands once again. Two more magic orbs began to form—larger, hotter, denser with destructive power.
“Everyone, move! Finish him—no matter what it takes!” Clone Lein commanded loudly.
