Chapter 84: Rector Skills: Simulation Room
A female student in the front row raised her hand.
“Yes, Rina?” The middle-aged woman turned to the girl who had raised her hand.
“How does this diagram relate to the speed of a freely falling object?” Rina asked.
“That’s a good question,” the middle-aged woman replied.
“This diagram helps us understand how potential energy is converted into kinetic energy as an object falls. When the object is at the peak of this parabola, its potential energy is at its maximum. As it falls, its potential energy decreases and is converted into kinetic energy.”
The middle-aged woman explained carefully to each student who asked a question. She had a strong passion for teaching. Initially, she was very worried about not having a place where she could teach and her skills being needed. But now, she could even earn a significant amount of energy crystals for her family.
Yes, the material they were discussing was still the same physics material from Earth. This understanding was necessary so that the students would have a strong fundamental grasp and could easily understand the new physics concepts that had adapted to the rules and concepts of the Divine Sky Realm.
“Nita, I really don’t understand what the professor is explaining,” Nayla quietly complained as she took notes next to Nita.
In high school, Nayla didn’t take her studies seriously. She only attended classes to meet graduation requirements without any serious interest in learning. As a child from a lower-middle-class family, her goal in attending school was merely to get a diploma and apply for a job.
“Just write it down for now. We can study it again at home later,” replied Nita, who was used to hearing Nayla’s complaints.
Nita was diligently taking notes on what the female professor was writing at the front of the class. Her handwriting and note organization showed that she was a diligent student and among the top in the school. All the points explained by the professor were written neatly and grouped by type. Additionally, her handwriting was beautiful and easy to read.
“Kinetic energy is…” Nayla muttered, struggling to write. She seemed to be having a hard time.
“Sister Nayla, what’s wrong with you?” asked Walter, who was sitting not far from them, looking at Nayla curiously.
“What’s wrong?” Nayla stopped writing and glared at Walter with annoyed eyes. For some reason, Walter’s presence really bothered her, making it hard for her to focus.
“Ah, never mind, sorry,” Walter felt it was not the right time to disturb the “tigress.”
Nita silently observed the frequent squabbles between the two from the beginning of the term until now.
“Alright, it’s time for a demonstration. We only have 10 minutes left,” said the middle-aged female professor as she walked to her desk. She did something on her laptop, and soon after, the round ball in the middle of the classroom stage started spinning. The classroom windows suddenly turned black, and the lights went out.
“Is it dark? Are we going to watch a movie?” joked a male student.
“Why not just send the video?” protested another.
“Be quiet! Even if you met a scientist in person, with that mindset, you would never understand,” retorted another student.
The noise didn’t last long as the classroom suddenly transformed into a white room with nothing in it. All the students floated as if they were in space.
“Ahh… uh… I’m dizzy,” complained a girl trying to control her floating body.
“Hmp…” another girl said casually.
This girl wore a long, flowing skirt and had wavy brown hair with a purple ribbon, making her look very beautiful. She managed to stand steadily in the current room conditions.
“Princess Ema… how do you do it?” asked Eve, who had been accompanying Ema all this time, from the side. She was spinning and struggling to stabilize her position.
“Move aside… shark attack!” a loud shout came from a distance. The voice was getting closer. A young man was quickly swimming in a frog style. Just by hearing his silly voice, the other students knew the owner of the voice was Walter.
Walter, who was moving quickly, suddenly lost control. He tried to spread his arms to slow down. Unfortunately, it was too late. He crashed into Ema from behind.
“Ouch…” Ema was shocked and lost her balance.
“Idiot!” Ema yelled. White light surrounded her fist. Without thinking, she threw a punch at Walter’s shoulder.
“Boom…”

“Ugh…” Walter was sent flying more than 20 meters, floating helplessly.
“Take that, you deserved it,” Ema smiled in satisfaction seeing Walter fly far away and in a miserable state.
Walter floated helplessly, regaining his strength. The purple light surrounding his body now dimmed.
“Ugh… you surprised me, Princess Ema,” Walter said casually. He ruffled his hair and then looked around for his friends. When he saw them, he resumed the frog-style swimming he did earlier. Yes, he was just acting. He wasn’t foolish enough to take Ema’s punch without protection.
“Haha, sorry, sorry. This room is so fun,” Walter tried to explain himself.
Nita and Nayla didn’t pay much attention to Walter’s antics. Their ancestors’ proverb said that “there’s a cure for illness, but there’s no cure for habitual behavior.”
“Everyone, we’ve already used up 5 minutes. Do you want to spend the remaining 5 minutes playing around?” asked the middle-aged female professor, observing everything her students were doing. She didn’t feel obligated to take harsh measures against them and didn’t want to offend any of them.
“Sorry, Ma’am. We’ll be quiet.”
“Yes, let’s continue, Ma’am.”
Almost all the students in the class agreed to continue and pay attention.
The female professor then explained that this room was called a simulation room. “This simulation room is the effect of the rector’s skill that can create a space for simulations for a certain period. So, your time in the simulation room is very valuable and limited, so don’t waste it,” she explained, ensuring all the students understood.
“Alright, next we will continue with the material. Please pay close attention.” The professor then extended her hands and made a motion as if pulling something from below. Immediately, a large 3D hologram of a cannon appeared from the empty space. The cannon looked simple, with a base diameter of 1 meter and a length of 1.5 meters.
