Chapter 581: Reinforcements
At this time, while the Eclipse Domain was under siege by both Vampires and Zombies, Travis silently watched from afar.
He used his draconic eyes to scan the battlefield below. The Eclipse Domain was quite chaotic at this time. It was filled with smoke, corpses, and blood. But even from this distance, he could see that the defenders were holding their ground.
The zombie horde was now a dwindling force. It should only take a matter of time before they get completely decimated by the forces of the Eclipse Domain.
After all, the Giant Zombies were gone, and the remaining zombies were being systematically cut down by the Domain’s defenders. The arrows, snipers, turrets, and flamethrowers were simply too strong.
“Hmm…”
At this time, Travis’ eyes caught something else—something far more dangerous.
High above the battlefield, a dark cloud was forming, and it wasn’t just a simple matter. It wasn’t a natural phenomenon.
Apparently, it was the vampires, transforming into bats and preparing to strike from above.
“Looks like the Domain’s got more trouble coming…” Travis muttered as he assessed the situation.
His Dragon’s Blood Talent had transformed him into a humanoid dragon. As he used more of his Draconic Powers, his body would get covered in glowing scales and his eyes would change into a draconic one. Nonetheless, he was able to control this power as he already mastered his talent.
“Should we help now?” Luka, one of his trusted aids sad.
Apparently, behind Travis, the fifty elite members of the Drakeheart Vanguard stood ready. Their eyes were fixed on the battlefield ready to be deployed…
They were a diverse group, each member possessing unique talents that made them a force to be reckoned with. Among them were three who stood out even among the elite.
Luka, a short and chubby man, was the closest to Travis. Well, the reason was because he had Dragon’s Eye Talent. It was another Legendary Talent that allowed him to see far beyond the capabilities of any normal human, and his gaze was fixed on the swarm of bats in the distance.
“The vampires are about to make their move,” he said with urgency. “If we don’t act soon, the Domain won’t hold.”
Beside him, Ragnar cracked his knuckles. His Giant’s Blood Talent gave him strength and durability far beyond that of a normal human. It may not be as great as Dragon’s Blood Talent but it was still an Epic Grade Talent.
“Let’s crush them… I’ve been itching for a real fight. We’re paid anyways…”
The third member was Kendra who had a Telekinesis Talent that allowed her to manipulate objects with her mind.
“The defenders are exhausted,” she said.
“If the vampires attack now, they’ll be overwhelmed.”
Travis nodded as he understood their concern…
He had been called here by Shane, and while the promise of a hefty reward was certainly appealing, it wasn’t the only reason he had come.
The Eclipse Domain was an incredible one-of-a-kind shelter in this apocalyptic world, and if it fell, there would be a problem for the merchants, neutral shelters, and others connected to this Domain.
Travis couldn’t allow that to happen.
“Alright, listen up,” Travis said as he turned to his team.
As soon as he spoke, every member of the Drakeheart Vanguard snapped to attention.
“We’re going in. Our mission is simple: protect the Domain and take down as many Zombies or Vampires as we can. Luka, you’ll be the overseer like before… Use your Dragon’s Eye to spot any threats we might miss. Ragnar, you’re with me on the front lines. Kendra, I want you to focus on disrupting the vampires’ formations. The rest of you, stick to the plan and watch each other’s backs. Understood?”
The rest of them answered with a roar, as they were all filled with confidence.
They were outnumbered, but they had faced worse odds before—and they had always come out on top.
Furthermore, aside from Travis, they knew that the Eclipse Domain still had remaining forces being hidden. With their addition, they knew that they would be able to win this war.

Travis turned back to the battlefield, as he watched the swarm of bats begin to descend.
“Let’s move,” he said, his voice a low growl. “We’ve got a Domain to save.”
With that, Travis leaped and his draconic wings materialized just like that…
Soon, he soared toward the battlefield.
Behind him, the Drakeheart Vanguard followed, their movements were swift as they aimed to eliminate the Zombies on the ground.
Luka, on the other hand, didn’t move as fast as he needed to get a full view of the battlefield.
But Ragnar charged forward. He activated his Giant’s Blood Talent and soon transformed his body into a massive one.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
The ground would even shake with each of his steps!
As for Kendra, she was able to float above the ground. It was easy to float her body with her Talent.
Anyway, her Telekinesis also created a protective barrier around her as she prepared to unleash her power.
As they approached the Eclipse Domain, Travis could see the defenders below, their faces looked certainly tired but all of them weren’t giving up. They all seem to know that they still have reinforcements waiting in the shadows.
Then, at this time, Shinja, the Warlord, was still cutting through the remaining zombies… But even he couldn’t be everywhere at once.
Soon, the vampires were almost upon the Domain, but Travis and his team were ready.
“Now!” Travis roared.
Luka’s Dragon’s Eye locked onto the swarm of bats and activated his Dragon’s Might to intimidate the Vampires. The effect wasn’t extremely strong but it was enough to halt their movements for a few moments.
With this opportunity, the members of the Drakeheart Vanguard made their move.
Ragnar charged into the battlefield as a Giant Human. His massive fists could actually crush any vampire that dared to get too close.
Kendra, on the other hand, raised her hands, as her Telekinesis ripped through the swarm, sending bats tumbling to the ground. Once they got to the ground, their deaths were guaranteed…
Travis himself targeted the Vampire Lord, Statham.
Roar!
With his draconic roar, the Vampire Knights protecting Statham stumbled for a moment…
Then, his claws tore through the vampire knights with ease while his scales deflected their attacks.
Of course, their presence was immediately noticed. The defenders of the Eclipse Domain looked on in awe as the Drakeheart Vanguard joined the fight,
“That’s Travis!”
“It’s the Drakeheard Vanguard!”
The defenders of the Domain felt even more vigorous as they saw another reinforcement.
***
“Kill them!” Statham ordered as he focused on Shinja. Once the swarm of bats or vampires entered the Domain, he planned to take on Shinja. Well, it wasn’t to kill him but to turn him into a Vampire.
The reason was obvious. Shinja was incredibly strong. If it was possible to turn him into a Vampire, then he knew that he would obtain an incredibly powerful aid.
However, just as the vampires began their descent, the Drakeheart Vanguard began their ambush…
At first, it was just fine. It was manageable since there were still a lot of Zombies to handle most of their forces.
There were only a few of them who could handle flying Vampires. With her numerous Vampire Knights, he knew that he didn’t have to worry about Travis who was planning to reach him.
However, a strong wave of aura erupted near the inner wall of the Eclipse Domain.
Several figures had finally shown themselves… It seemed that they were the Domain’s last reinforcement.
As Statham looked at the figures, he saw the one who was in front and was the strongest among them.
“A monk?” He muttered.
Indeed, it was Monk Chaloem, his bald head even glistened under the moonlight and his simple robes were somehow flowing despite the lack of wind. It was such a strange sight.
Nonetheless, behind him was a group of warriors from Springriver Manor.
At this time, Monk Chaloem raised his hand, and a wave of golden energy radiated from his palm. It was his visible Aura…
This Aura enveloped the defenders of the Eclipse Domain.
Just like that, the exhausted soldiers felt their strength returning, their wounds closing, and their spirits recovering…
Shinja may be their best frontline fighter at this time but Chaloem could be one of their best supporters.
“Stand firm, brothers and sisters,” Monk Chaloem said with a calm voice.
“The night is dark, but the dawn will come.”
His words certainly suited a monk as everyone felt invigorated. Once again, they were ready to fight.
However, it didn’t end there…
Another group of people showed their presence…
This time, it was a figure wearing a red and gold robe… It was Lord Kang Zhen the owner of the Ivory Gear Shelter!
He was followed by his elite soldier in perfect formation.
Lord Kang Zhen’s Neutral Shelter was known for its neutrality in conflicts, but his friendship with Shane had clearly overridden that policy tonight.
“Looks like we arrived just in time…” Lord Kang Zhen said, “Let’s show these undead and bloodsuckers what happens when they mess with the Eclipse Domain.”
