Chapter 639: The Zombie Lord
The Warden Units started using all of their energy to suppress the Hunters… Using this Plasma Sword and their high strength, they managed to stabilize the situation.

But suddenly, the Prov, the Zombie Lord, started emitting more black miasma in the surroundings!

“Is that…” Shane had a guess about the Miasma, and indeed, it wasn’t just a black fog.

Suddenly, the Hunter Zombies started regaining strength.

One of the Hunter Zombies grabbed and pulled a Warden’s chest plating and peeled open like a tin can, exposing the glowing core within.

However, this wouldn’t last very long…

“Flamethrowers—activate.”

Soon, from hidden ports along the ramparts, streams of white-hot fire erupted…

They were bathing the base of the walls in a cleansing inferno!

Even the defenders on top of the wall had to take cover due to the extreme heat!

Soon, the Hunter Zombies caught in the blaze had no time to scream!

Their bodies blackened, crisped, and crumbled in seconds! It happened so fast that their ashes were scattered in the wind before Prov could even order them to move away and stop pushing forward mindlessly…

Soon, only about 80 or so Hunter Zombies were left on the ground, waiting for further instructions from the Zombie Lord.

However, since they moved back, the turrets and snipers were able to easily rain bullets on their bodies!
