Chapter 112: Lily Is Color Blind
Hearing Ayame’s command, JordanPlayz nodded his head to Ayame. He walked towards one of the red balloons.
JordanPlayz didn’t know which shade of red to choose from but since Ayame only commanded to choose randomly, he didn’t think too much about it. He directly took a random red balloon.
But when he did so, his head disappeared!
The red balloon that JordanPlayz was holding had now contained his head!
It was an unusual and disturbing scene to see JordanPlayz’s headless body holding a red balloon that contained his head.
And from what they could notice, JordanPlayz had lost consciousness and his head was in deep sleep.
Seeing that JordanPlayz had failed, Ayame reminded them, “We still have four attempts left. Furthermore, JordanPlayz’s death is not in vain.”
“There are currently two prominent reasons why JordanPlayz had failed. It’s either he got the red balloon with the wrong shade, or Lily is lying to us.”
Kayden interjected, “There is also a third reason. Lily might not be lying, but she might be color blind.”
When they heard Kayden’s speculation, they signaled Kayden to ask Lily about it.
Since Kayden had the best relationship with Lily currently, they let Kayden handle the work of communicating with Lily.
Kayden didn’t have any complaints since even if Lily was an evil spirit, he had confidence in his fear tolerance. At least, unlike Ayame who would be scared out of her wits if she encountered an evil spirit or monster, Kayden had a stronger mental fortitude.
“Lily, can you point us to a red-colored balloon? Just so that we could find Hex a lot faster.”
Hearing Kayden’s request, Lily nodded her head, “Okay, big brother!”
Afterward, Lily pointed her index finger toward the group of green-colored balloons. “See! That’s a red-colored balloon! I don’t know which one is Hex, but one of them must be Hex!”
Receiving Lily’s answer, Kayden facepalmed and he muttered, “As I have expected.”
To confirm his assumption, Kayden pointed towards a red-colored balloon and asked Lily, “But isn’t that a red-colored balloon?”
When Kayden asked that to Lily, Lily looked at Kayden as if she was looking at someone who had lost his mind.
“Big brother, that’s a green balloon! Hex is a red balloon!”
Kayden felt hurt that a little girl was looking at him as if he had lost his mind. But remembering that the little girl was not only an evil spirit but also color blind, Kayden no longer minded it.
“Yes, yes. That’s a green balloon. Your big brother couldn’t see it correctly.”
Despite him being the correct one, Kayden didn’t argue with the little girl and acquiesced.
Lily nodded in satisfaction after hearing her big brother speak out about his mistakes and agree that she was right.
Afterward, Kayden looked at Ayame and the rest, “See? What I speculated was correct. So now, let Shirohige get a random red balloon.”
Despite mentioning the red balloon in his words, Kayden pointed towards the group of green balloons.
Technically, Lily wasn’t wrong since in her perspective, green was red.
Facts and opinions of the world were decided by the vast majority.
If the vast majority were color-blind, then green would indeed be red. And those minorities who saw the right colors would be the ones labeled as color blind.
Because of that, Kayden didn’t bother to have a debate with Lily about it since he could still empathize with her.
Even if Lily was an evil spirit, Kayden didn’t treat her harshly since she hadn’t torn off her mask yet. If she showed her true colors and became hostile to them, then Kayden would do the same.

But for now, Kayden maintained the big brother and little sister charade with Lily.
When Shirohige heard Kayden’s command, he didn’t disagree and immediately walked towards the green-colored balloons that Lily had deemed as “red-colored balloons”.
After arriving there, Shirohige knew that he could only choose a random shade of green balloon so he didn’t give much thought about it.
Grabbing a random shade of green balloon, Shirohige’s body froze.
“Sigh, Shirohige failed as well. But at least we discovered that Lily is color blind.”
Ayame sighed as she looked at the headless body of Shirohige. The green-colored balloon Shirohige had picked was now containing his head.
The headless body of Shirohige was standing as firm as a statue while holding the green-colored balloon that contained his head. The same was the case for JordanPlayz who was holding a red-colored balloon.
“Since Shirohige had failed, then we only have three more attempts left.”
Ayame looked at ProGamerXD with eyes that said “You are the next sacrificial lamb”.
ProGamerXD didn’t disagree since he and the Dislord admins already had the mentality of being sacrificial lambs of Ayame’s team.
They weren’t that ambitious and they knew that they couldn’t become the greatest. So rather than struggling futilely to become the greatest, why not follow the greatest instead?
ProGamerXD and the rest of the Dislord admins have the same mindset.
ProGamerXD had already recovered from his previous fear before so he had already left the wooden table and escaped Lily’s range. He felt fortunate that Kayden had managed to calm down Lily.
Otherwise, ProGamerXD might follow in GoldMiner’s footsteps.
Seeing that ProGamerXD didn’t disagree, Ayame continued, “We only have three attempts left so let’s make good use of it.”
“From what we have now, Lily is color blind and the red balloon she mentioned is a green-colored balloon from our perspective. Furthermore, the balloon with the correct shade of green must be chosen or else it will lead to losing our sacrificial lamb’s head.”
Kayden agreed with Ayame’s words, “That’s true. We have to choose the balloon with the correct green shade. As for which shade to choose, we could rely on my luck, but even I don’t think that my luck is powerful enough to choose the correct one.”
“I feel like someone is interfering with my luck in this dark room so if we rely on my luck, it might backfire on us.”
