Chapter 135: Returning To The Windesburg Hotel
Illya ate the Eternal Beef of Satiation in just one gulp.

After eating the Eternal Beef of Satiation, Illya looked very satisfied and she didn’t look uneasy unlike before.

Illya didn’t forget to thank Ayame for letting her eat the Eternal Beef of Satiation. After all, Illya knew that Ayame owned the Eternal Beef of Satiation.

In response, Ayame nodded, “Welcome, Illya.”

After accepting Illya’s thanks, Ayame asked Kayden, “So what now? GoldMiner and JordanPlayz have already died. We only have eight players left and one NPC if Illya is included.”

“We haven’t fully explored Vacation Paradise Island yet we already lost two of our teammates.”

Kayden pondered for a while before responding to Ayame, “We can explore Nevergreen Forest until 5 PM. It’s best to familiarize ourselves with the Nevergreen Forest’s terrain so that we can have the option of setting up camp here if ever the Windesburg Hotel kicks us out.”

Kayden started explaining to Ayame, Bianca, Kenshi, Shirohige, and ProGamerXD about what happened before.

Because of that, Ayame and the rest of them knew about the hostility between them and the Windesburg Hotel staff.

Kayden added, “Although the Windesburg Hotel staff acted as if nothing happened, I doubt that was truly the case. They will likely attack us at night so we better be prepared for the worst.”

“Furthermore, if we want to eat, we’ll need to fish in the sea or forage in Nevergreen Forest. We don’t have to worry about poison and such since Illya can taste the wild berries and mushrooms in the forest for us.”

“Illya can be our food tester since unlike us, she is immortal and is impervious to poison, diseases, etc.”

ProGamerXD asked, “Wait, if Illya is immune to poison, how can she know if the food she tasted is poisonous? She might not be able to discern whether what she ate is poisonous or not.”

In response, Illya puffed her cheeks in annoyance, “Hmph! My sense of taste is superior to the average human. And even if I can’t taste the poison, I’ll still know what harm it will cause to my body since I can still feel pain.”

Kayden affirmed Illya’s claims, “There you have it. Illya can do the food testing well. Just have trust in her.”

“So any objections? If not, we can start exploring Nevergreen Forest until 5 PM.”

Hearing Kayden’s question, none of them objected since their plan for this game session was to obtain as much information as they could.

They wanted to complete Cozy Vacation Life without losing any teammates as much as possible. So they weren’t interested in completing Cozy Vacation Life in this game session especially when JordanPlayz and GoldMiner had already died.

They weren’t certain whether their teammates who had died could receive the rewards or not. Because of that, they preferred that all of them were alive when they completed Cozy Vacation Life.

With that plan in mind, Kayden, Ayame, and the rest of them started exploring Nevergreen Forest.

After several hours have passed, Kayden, Ayame, and the rest of their teammates have ended their expedition at 5 PM.

The guide had assisted them in exploring Nevergreen Forest. They didn’t have to worry about the guide playing tricks on them since Winston could easily see through the ruse of the guide. Moreover, Illya would also devour any monsters in the Nevergreen Forest which made their exploration smooth sailing.

They also didn’t have to worry about food since they would forage in Nevergreen Forest for edible mushrooms and wild berries. They would even capture and roast rabbits and wild animals in Nevergreen Forest so their diet wasn’t just berries and mushrooms.

After it was already five in the afternoon, Kayden used his shoe as he led them out of Nevergreen Forest.

Although the guide could navigate in the Nevergreen Forest, they trusted Kayden more than the guide so they let Kayden do the navigation work. The guide was only used by them when it came to being informed about the legends, monsters, and scenic spots in Vacation Paradise Island.

With Winston as a lie detector, they didn’t have to worry about the guide’s lies and fabrications.

After Ayame, Kayden, and the rest of them left the Nevergreen Forest, they didn’t return to Windesburg Hotel immediately.

Instead, they headed to the beach resort where fishing nets, fishing rods, and other equipment were available for rent.

After they arrived at the beach resort, Kayden allocated their work, “Anyone who knows how to fish will find a fishing boat with me. The rest will be assigned to explore the beach resort as well as cook the food.”

Hearing Kayden’s words, most of the boys followed Kayden. On the other hand, Ayame, Bianca, and Winston stayed behind to explore the beach resort.

Ayame, Kayden, and the rest of the team didn’t plan to sleep in the beach resort.

They wanted to test the bottom line of the Windesburg Hotel staff. And even if the Windesburg Hotel staff dared to do any funny business, they still had Illya and she alone was more than enough to solo the entire Windesburg Hotel staff.

With that in mind, all of them returned to the Windesburg Hotel after eating their dinner at the beach resort.

Kayden had already informed Ayame and Group 1 about the dishes in Windesburg Hotel being cooked with human meat. That had traumatized Shirohige and ProGamerXD when they heard that from Kayden.

Because of that, they dared not eat any food served by the Windesburg Hotel staff even if they were seafood. They preferred to eat food that was prepared by them.

When they arrived at the front door of the Windesburg Hotel, the doorman opened the door for them and allowed them entry. Even Winston couldn’t see any hostility from the doorman so they entered the hotel.

After arriving inside the hotel, they discovered the staff seemed to feign ignorance about Kayden and Group 2’s offense before.
