Chapter 156: From Tuu To Tehn, The Ten Beta Testers
The Ten Beta Testers Project was to reveal the existence of the Ten Beta Testers.
Weiss had always proclaimed himself as the strongest amongst other beta testers. So, it would make sense if there were other nine beta testers in Blue Star, showing up and revealing themselves due to the otherworld invasion.
Of course, the other nine Beta Testers were just Weiss’ alternate accounts. Or more like, they were his creations who had the same power level as him but weren’t as strong as him.
In the Player Hunter Application, Weiss had already reserved the first ten spots for himself as well as the other beta testers. So if players were to be invited to become a Player Hunter, they would have the codename “Hunter #11” instead of “Hunter #02”.
That would further prove the existence of beta testers. After all, beta testers had access to the games before the game was released and published.
“Since I have already told a white lie about this to Ayame, I might as well make it the truth.”
“There are ten beta testers in total including myself. All of the beta testers including me are SS-rank Awakeners.”
“Since there are five top nations in total, then each of the five nations should have two beta testers. Not only can they be used to protect those five top powerhouses from the destruction caused by the otherworld invaders, but I can also use my beta testers to spy on them and control it from the inside.”
“Since the power of the beta testers is proportional to my power level, there wouldn’t be a case where a player is stronger than them. The only exceptions are Ayame, Bianca, Kayden, Kenshi, and other top players assuming that they have powerful superpowers or authorities.”
“After all, the beta testers only have the same power level as I have but are not as powerful as me. I’m the strongest since my reality manipulation is invincible. But the beta testers don’t necessarily have the strongest superpower.”
“According to the lore I made for beta testers, they are just a bunch of lucky guys who were chosen by Aspro to test his games. The only criteria were two beta testers from each of the five nations and that they love playing games. Other than that, there wasn’t any criteria for their skills and such.”
“So if Ayame and other top players replaced the so-called beta testers I made and had the same power level as the beta testers, Ayame and those top players would be much superior.”
Weiss muttered as he examined the beta testers he created using his reality manipulation.
His ability to create things out of nothing was quite similar to how he brought anime or fictional characters into the real world. The only difference was that bringing fictional characters already had a template for those characters while Weiss created the beta testers from scratch.
It’s like the difference between taking a can of soda from the vending machine and manufacturing a can of soda in a factory.
However, Weiss didn’t create those beta testers using a fragment of his soul. No, he created a soul out of nowhere.
He didn’t want to fragment his soul and make clones of himself. He didn’t like the thought of having clones of himself with independent consciousness.
So, Weiss created the beta testers the way he would create loyal subordinates for himself. It’s also similar to how he would create those Special Event NPCs.
After Weiss created nine beta testers, there were now ten of them in total.
All nine of the beta testers immediately knelt towards him as if they were meeting their Lord God the Creator.
“Rise.”
Receiving Weiss’ command, the nine beta testers stopped kneeling.
If Weiss was the strongest and undoubtedly the Top 1 in Blue Star, then the rest of the nine beta testers took up the places for Top 2 to Top 10.
Furthermore, Weiss had spent some of his Dev points to purchase superpowers and authorities for each of the beta testers.
He could indeed choose to create them instead of buying them from the game item shop. However, the superpowers and authorities from the game item shop were a lot stronger than what he could create.
For example, one of the beta testers, Tuu, has the Flame Rebirth Authority from Cozy Vacation Life. As long as there exists fire in the world, he will be reborn from the flames after his death.
He also has Phoenix Fire Manipulation as his superpower from Zombie Survival Online and Phoenix Transformation as his second superpower.
Tuu was the strongest among the rest of the beta testers. In Blue Star, he was technically the second strongest since Weiss was the first.
It could even be said that with Tuu’s skill set as well as appearance, he looked like an illegitimate child of the Phoenix Emperor. After all, Tuu has orange hair and orange eyes and he is handsome as well.
Like Weiss, Tuu was assigned to be one of the two beta testers in Phoenix Empire.

From weakest to strongest, the third strongest beta tester to the tenth was none other than Trii, Forr, Fayv, Sieks, Sevin, Eit, Nain, and Tehn.
Furthermore, with Weiss’ reality manipulation, he had already given them the identification they needed to be labeled as legal citizens of the top nations he assigned them to.
Looking at the beta testers in front of him, Weiss asked, “You all know your roles, right?”
In response, the beta testers saluted and shouted, “Yes, Boss!”
Weiss nodded, “Good. Make sure that the human population doesn’t decrease that much due to those otherworld invaders.”
“Now go and prevent the death of those human tools!”
Hearing Weiss’ command, the beta testers saluted one last time before they left Weiss’ pocket space.
After the beta testers left Weiss’ pocket space, Weiss continued watching the television news.
“From the looks of it, Ayame and Bianca had already intervened and protected Fire City from otherworld invaders. They had also destroyed the Dimensional Gate so the plug-in I added was effective.”
“Furthermore, the same went for Flame City since Winston had also intervened and protected Flame City from those goblins. But unlike Ayame and Bianca who could restore the damages caused by those goblins, Winston couldn’t do that so he could only resort to killing the goblins before they could cause further casualties and destruction.”
“GoldMiner is also protecting a city in the European World Alliance and the same went for the other Dislord admins since they had dealt with the goblins in their city. As for Kenshi, he and the Shiro Clan had eliminated the goblins in the Sakura Shogunate.”
“As for Kayden, that guy sure went all out and acted as the hero of the Freedom Eagle Federation. However, at this rate, that guy can’t save everyone. It was a good decision that I started the Ten Beta Testers Project or else some cities might be overtaken by those goblins.”
“The goblins should be the weakest amongst other otherworld invaders yet they already pose this much threat to Blue Star. Well, it’s ultimately the fault of the blue starlings that they didn’t play my game.”
“They are lucky that I can’t afford to let them die since I needed them to generate Dev points.”
Weiss sighed as he watched the otherworld invasion throughout Blue Star via the television news live streamed by the television news channel from other nations.
Weiss had already seen that Tuu had arrived at Ignis City in the Phoenix Empire.
When Tuu arrived at Ignis City, Tuu waved his hand and a fire tsunami enveloped everything in its path. However, when the fire enveloped those phoenix citizens, they weren’t burned to ashes and they seemed unaffected by it.
But that wasn’t the case for those goblins who had been cremated by Tuu’s phoenix fire. Tuu’s control and mastery over his phoenix fire were powerful enough to the point that he could choose which one he wanted to burn and what he didn’t want to burn.
So to those phoenix citizens, Tuu’s phoenix fire only felt like warm air. It was an unusual scene of the phoenix citizens being caught on fire as if they were firemen.
With just one wave of phoenix fire tsunami, Tuu had cremated all of the goblins and even destroyed the Dimensional Gate along with the goblins.
Since Tuu was Weiss’ creation, Weiss didn’t have to pay Tuu and the other beta testers for the limited time task rewards.
…
Soon enough, under the intervention of Tuu and the rest of the beta testers, all of the Dimensional Gates around the world have been destroyed.
All of the goblins had been exterminated but their corpses were taken by various research institutions since those goblins were considered extraterrestrial life.
In other words, the goblins were technically aliens so those research institutions wanted to dissect a goblin and examine its cells and genes.
Seeing in the television news that everything went well and the beta testers’ existence was finally revealed, Weiss muttered, “The Ten Beta Testers Project is a success.”
