Chapter 159: Starting The Game Session In Cozy Vacation Life With Weiss
“Well, not that I’m surprised. After all, I’m the one who programmed this game.”

Surveying his room, Weiss found nothing unusual since it was going the way he programmed it to be.

However, instead of leaving his room, Weiss stayed in his room for a while. He used his game developer authorities to check the files regarding Ayame and her team’s gameplay.

With just one click, Weiss received all the events of Ayame and her team’s game sessions as if he were there with them. Because of that, he was now aware of their progress.

Reviewing Ayame and her team’s game session, Weiss commented, “From the looks of it, Ayame and her team haven’t found the Special West Compass yet.”

The Special West Compass was a key game item for completing the first main task of Cozy Vacation Life.

Vacation Paradise Island was covered by an unknown force that prevented the players from leaving the island. No matter how the players attempt to navigate in the sea around Vacation Paradise Island, if they go too far away from Vacation Paradise Island, they would inevitably end up sailing back to Vacation Paradise Island.

“But, Ayame and her team seemed to want to play it safe and didn’t further explore the luxury cruise ship. Not that I’m against their approach since it’s conservative yet can do the job done.”

“After all, the first main task is the easiest to complete if the Special West Compass is discovered from the luxury cruise ship. But the second main task would be a lot more likely to be completed by players.”

After Weiss reviewed Ayame and her team’s game session, he decided to let Ayame and her team acquire the Special West Compass.

Weiss didn’t know when the next otherworld invasion would occur so having Ayame and her team obtain game items and authorities from Cozy Vacation Life would at least prevent them from dying at the hands of those otherworld invaders.

Weiss had reviewed Ayame and her team’s game session so he was well aware of how good they were in playing the game. At least, he believed that they could complete his game the fastest even without his interference.

Knowing about Ayame and her team’s meet-up place which was the atrium, Weiss left his room while Alice followed beside him in admin spectator mode.

When Weiss arrived at the atrium, he saw Ayame and her team waiting for him there.

Ayame and her team were already used to the luxury cruise ship arc so they didn’t take that long to leave their room. Unlike Weiss who was reviewing Ayame and her team’s game sessions in his room.

After Weiss arrived in the atrium, Ayame asked, “Brother, what do you suggest us to do?”

“If you don’t have anything to suggest and only plan to guide us when necessary, then we can go with my plan of securing the authorities and game items in the luxury cruise ship.”

“My team and I had already rummaged through the areas of the luxury cruise ship that aren’t restricted for entry in the previous game sessions.”

Hearing Ayame’s question, Weiss replied, “You can do your own thing. After all of you are done, you all return here and I will lead you to the restricted areas.”

Ayame nodded, “Okay, brother.”

If it was before, Ayame wouldn’t risk checking those restricted areas unless they badly needed a game item or authority to solve their problems in Vacation Paradise Island.

But with Weiss’ guidance, Ayame and her team believed that they wouldn’t have to worry about the dangers in those restricted areas.

After all, since Weiss was the strongest beta tester, Ayame and her team had great confidence in Weiss’ experience and knowledge regarding Aspro’s games.

Since Weiss was a beta tester, then he must have already played Aspro’s games before they were released. And coupled with the power shown by Weiss and the other beta testers, Ayame’s teammates had trust in Weiss’ capabilities.

Ayame soon led her teammates to do the same as they did in the previous game sessions. They left the atrium, leaving Weiss and Alice together.

One of the butlers asked Weiss and Weiss nodded his head in reply, “Yes, let me have one so that it won’t arouse any suspicion from my sister and her team.”

Hearing Weiss’ agreement, the butler took out a golden bell and gave it to Weiss while commenting, “Even if the Creator attracted unwanted suspicion from his sister and her team, that wouldn’t be a problem since the Creator still has the identity of a beta tester.”

“No matter how they questioned the Creator’s unusual and suspicious actions, they will attribute it to the Creator’s fake identity of being a beta tester. They will never think of the possibility that the Creator is in fact Aspro and not a mere beta tester.”

Receiving that comment from the butler, Weiss already knew that it was the Game AI chatting with him instead of the butler.

The butlers and maids in the luxury cruise ship are mostly Normal NPCs so they don’t have awareness that they are game characters aside from a few exceptions.

In other words, the Game AI was aware of his interference in the game and it decided to have a chat with him. Of course, it wasn’t hostile to Weiss since Weiss was its creator.

At most, the Game AI only wanted to remind Weiss of its presence and that it had known about Weiss’ interference. It served as a reminder for Weiss that he couldn’t overstep too much on the boundaries he had set.

After all, Weiss was limited by the restriction set upon by the God-Level Game Developer System. He couldn’t directly interfere with the progress of the players so he couldn’t tell Ayame and her team about the method to complete Cozy Vacation Life with the least amount of effort and time spent.

After Weiss obtained the golden bell from the butler who was controlled by the Game AI, Weiss drank wine served by the bartender as he waited for Ayame and her team’s return.

Soon enough, after just under half an hour, Ayame and her team returned to the atrium. “Brother, we are back!”

The only one that took some time was Ayame’s eating contest in the dining room since even she couldn’t speedrun that.

But for Bianca and Winston who had already known the answer to Lily’s question in the underground room of the library, they obtained the Balloon Authority with ease. The same went for Kuroneko who was fishing for engagement rings in the swimming pool.

Seeing that Ayame and her team had already obtained the necessary game items and authorities, Weiss nodded his head in recognition, “Good, now that you are all prepared, I’ll guide you in acquiring the key game item for completing the first main task.”
