Chapter 162: Water Authority
Hearing Weiss’ explanation, Kuroneko asked in a fearful tone, “Wait, we need to drown there?”

Although Kuroneko wasn’t afraid of water, he was afraid of drowning.

Well, most humans were afraid of drowning. After all, if a human drowned, they would die.

Weiss replied, “Not ‘we’ but ‘you’. You will swim in the swimming pool and drown there. After you drown in the swimming pool, you can get the Water Authority.”

Furthermore, Ayame knew that her teammates must also get authorities so that they wouldn’t become useless. The Dislord admins were not only capable but also loyal so Ayame wanted to let them become stronger.

Since Kuroneko didn’t want to drown, they didn’t disagree with JordanPlayz obtaining the Water Authority instead.

When they arrived in front of the swimming pool, JordanPlayz already changed into his swimming attire. He had used the golden bell and asked a maid to bring him swimming attire. Hence, JordanPlayz was ready to swim and didn’t have to worry about wetting his clothes.

Weiss nodded and replied, “Yes. However, you needed to drown to the point that you passed out and almost died. When you are about to die, the pool spirit will appear and bestow you with the Water Authority.”

JordanPlayz sighed, “That’s a relief.”

“And besides, even if I die and for some reason, I didn’t get the Water Authority, I can still trust you to use the Game Over Retry Authority, right?”

Weiss reassured JordanPlayz, “Of course. If any of us die here, I will use the Game Over Retry Authority.”

It felt suffocating at first and also painful as he felt his lungs inflate due to filling it with the pool’s water. He felt a burning sensation in his lungs due to the water filling it up.

After breathing the water, JordanPlayz didn’t awaken any powers like Water Breathing or Turtle Breathing Technique that he had read in novels.

The only thing he felt different from before was that he was starting to lose consciousness due to the lack of oxygen.

Since JordanPlayz knew that he wouldn’t die in the real world, he didn’t have the fear of death while he was drowning.

After pulling him out, the water in the swimming pool turned into a genderless humanoid figure who forwarded its hands and controlled the water in the swimming pool.

A pillar of water appeared which was used to raise JordanPlayz out of the swimming pool.

Afterward, the pool spirit placed its hand on JordanPlayz’s head before disappearing.

When JordanPlayz woke up, he realized he was at the edge of the swimming pool. There wasn’t any pool water filling his lungs and he felt as if his previous experience of drowning was just a dream.

However, after he waved his hand, a water dragon appeared in the swimming pool. After creating a dragon made out of water, JordanPlayz muttered, “It’s not a dream. I have indeed obtained the Water Authority.”

To further test his Water Authority, JordanPlayz opened his right palm and water appeared out of nowhere. So not only could he control and manipulate water, but he could also generate or create water out of nothing.

“Congratulations for getting the Water Authority, JordanPlayz!”

Ayame congratulated JordanPlayz which caused JordanPlayz to smile sheepishly.

ProGamerXD patted JordanPlayz’s shoulder as he greeted enthusiastically, “Congrats bro! You are the first to obtain an authority among us Dislord admins!”

They knew that it wasn’t easy for JordanPlayz to obtain the Water Authority since he had to go through the pain of drowning.
