Chapter 175: Second Otherworld Invasion, Slimes
At a certain city in Britannia, a Dimensional Gate appeared, startling the europeans.

Britannia was the main kingdom or head of the European World Alliance. The European World Alliance didn’t have any emperor or empire since it was comprised of mostly Kings who had formed an alliance.

Soon enough, there were more than a hundred slimes near the dimensional gate at a certain street in Briton City.

The hundred slimes didn’t do anything yet as if they were waiting for the players to make a move first.

Regarding the stalemate situation, one of the european players could no longer wait patiently as he said, “I’ll deal with this. Just back me up in case something bad happens.”

That certain european player charged towards one of the slimes before clenching his fist and activating his awakener ability.

The road on the street became fragmented into pieces and was then attracted into the european player’s hand, acting as some sort of stone gauntlet.

In response, the slime opened its mouth.

The slime’s mouth was wide open as its mouth hole became wider than two-thirds of its entire body.

As if the european player was sucked inside a black hole, the european player’s hand was engulfed by the slime. The blue slime seemed to have expanded as it attempted to devour the european player whole.

Before the other european players could assist the unfortunate european player, the european player was already sucked inside the belly of the slime.

The slime’s body size increased from half a meter tall to two meters tall. Its width was also proportional to its height so it was also two meters wide.

When the slime became bigger, the european players were immediately alerted.

But before they were about to attack the slime, a golden light shone brightly as it hit not only the two-meter slime as well as the rest of the slime surrounding it.

When the golden light hit the two-meter slime, the two-meter slime turned into a golden slime. Afterward, the two-meter slime crumbled into pieces along with the rest of the blue slimes near it.

“That was easier than I had expected.”

The charismatic voice of a young man in his mid-twenties resounded in Briton City as a flash of golden light appeared.

GoldMiner spoke, “The rest of you should leave. At this rate, you will only become a burden to me and I am not obligated to save you. Since you all are players, you all should know that we are only obligated to deal with the otherworld invaders and dimensional gate but aren’t obligated to save the citizens.”

“Evacuating the citizens is the job of the police and military force and I’m not part of them.”

Hearing GoldMiner’s words, the european players weren’t offended since they knew that they would only become a burden if they stayed.
