Reading her live stream viewers’ comments, Ayame nodded and confirmed, “Yes, Winston did have an eye-related skill that could differentiate the difference between color shades.”

“That’s why we let him acquire the Balloon Authority since he deserves it.”

“Also, fun fact. Bianca chose the wrong balloon which left Winston the one to choose the right one.”

While Ayame was chatting with her viewers, Weiss and the rest of them soon arrived at the bottom of the underground room.

As usual, there was a wooden table and a wooden chair situated at the center of the underground room. There was also a black book placed on top of the table as usual.

But knowing that Lily could no longer be summoned by touching the black book, it was a no-brainer that the black book was the game item in the underground room.

Bianca asked them, “Who’ll be the sacrificial lamb this time? I know this is probably a game item, but I’m not taking any chances.”

She hadn’t forgotten about Weiss’ Game Over Retry Authority as well but she didn’t want to take any chances.

If it was something that would cause her a lot of fear and trauma, then the Game Over Retry Authority wouldn’t be able to fix that since her memories of that incident would need to be erased for her fear and trauma to be removed.

However, it’s still possible if Weiss used his Game Over Retry Authority and allowed everyone aside from Bianca to carry on their memories from the previous timeline to the current timeline.

The rest of the team as well as the Dislord admins also knew about that so they looked at each other until one of them raised their hand and volunteered.

Kuroneko volunteered as he walked closer to the wooden table.

None of them disagreed with Kuroneko so he was now assigned to check on whether the black-colored book had any trap mechanism or not.

Kuroneko didn’t want to drown before even if he was guaranteed to obtain the Water Authority. That was due to his past trauma which caused him to be afraid of drowning.

While the live stream viewers were arguing with each other about the abilities of the black book, Kuroneko no longer built up suspense as he touched the black book.

When he touched the black book with his right hand, Kuroneko’s eyes immediately closed and his body slumped down as if he had lost his strength. Fortunately, the wooden chair was right behind him so his body didn’t fall to the ground.

Kayden commented, “I don’t know what’s happening to Kuroneko, but we should keep our distance and prepare ourselves for countermeasures.”

Weiss added, “Well, I know. But I’m not telling. It’s more fun that way for you guys.”

They ignored Weiss’ comment since they knew that Weiss knew the game like the back of his hands.

After all, Weiss was a beta tester while they were just players who had recently played Cozy Vacation Life. For players who had recently played Cozy Vacation Life, Ayame and her team had already made good progress even before Weiss’ assistance.

That went to show how great Ayame and Kayden were as well as their team line-up. Bianca barely did anything and that was due to Ayame taking the lead.

Otherwise, Bianca could also lead the team if Ayame wasn’t present since she was comparable to Ayame in terms of gaming skills. However, that was quite unlikely since the assistant leader was Kayden.

Bianca didn’t care much about who’d take the leadership position since she was mostly a solo player. She would only play multiplayer if the game forced her to play multiplayer such as in cases where the only available game mode was multiplayer.

While they were watching over Kuroneko’s every move, they soon noticed that Kuroneko’s hair started to turn white.

When Kuroneko’s silky black hair turned white, he opened his eyes which showed silver-colored eyes.

On the other hand, the black book on the wooden table levitated above Kuroneko’s left palm.

The black book shone with a glowing white light that enveloped itself. Levitating above Kuroneko’s left palm, the black book opened and started flipping pages on its own.

Noticing what happened to Kuroneko and seeing him being unresponsive, Ayame commented, “I don’t like where this is going. We might need to subdue Kuroneko if something happened to him.”

When they were about to subdue Kuroneko, Kuroneko opened his mouth and uttered, “I am now Shironeko.”
