Chapter 201: Hall Of Mirrors, Reflection Of Different Lives
Receiving Shirohige’s thanks, Ayame joked, “Welcome, it was all for the sake of content.”
Kayden chuckled, “Welcome, bro.”
ProGamerXD also received Shirohige’s thanks while Weiss only nodded in response.
Now that he had obtained the Music Authority, Shirohige muttered, “I wonder what Bianca is up to now? Did she obtain the Equality Authority?”
…
—At The Hall of Mirrors, Before Shirohige’s First Challenge Commenced—
It didn’t take that long for Bianca and her team to arrive at the Hall of Mirrors.
The Hall of Mirrors was a mesmerizing and disorienting place, a grand chamber filled with countless mirrors of all shapes and sizes.
The walls, ceiling, and even the floor were covered with these reflective surfaces, each one polished to a perfect shine. The mirrors were framed in ornate, gilded designs that twisted and turned like vines, adding to the room’s surreal elegance.
As Bianca and her team stepped inside, their reflections multiplied endlessly, creating the illusion of infinite space.
The light in the hall was dim, casting a soft, ethereal glow that seemed to come from the mirrors themselves. Every movement they made was echoed by countless reflections, making it difficult to tell what was real and what was illusion.
The air was cool and still, adding to the sense of mystery and enchantment that filled the Hall of Mirrors.
Mesmerized by the scene in front of him, Winston exclaimed, “Wow! This looked cooler than I expected! But with this many mirrors, it will be hard to find the correct mirror for the Equality Authority challenge that Weiss spoke of before.”
Bianca nodded, “Yeah, it’s difficult to find the correct mirror. This place is like a mirror maze but as long as we search long enough, we should be able to find the correct mirror.”
“According to Weiss’ description, the mirror that I should touch to enter the challenge for the Equality Authority is a spherical hand-held mirror. So it will only take some time to find it due to all mirrors here being bigger than our height and none of them are hand-held mirrors.”
The mirrors in the Hall of Mirror created an illusion of infinite space due to the reflections of it that came from Bianca and her team. Even their voices echoed inside the Hall of Mirrors and it was hard to keep track of their current location.
However, the mirrors in the Hall of Mirrors soon stopped reflecting their images and instead, they started to reflect the lives of other people.
Each mirror reflected the life of another person that was likely from the supercontinent. But even the time period didn’t matter since it also reflected the lives of people from the previous eras.
They now acted like devices that showed the reflection of another person’s life so they no longer continuously reflected the appearances of Bianca and her team. It didn’t cause any more illusions.
Because of that, it was a lot easier for Bianca and her team to navigate inside the Hall of Mirrors without getting lost and disoriented by the mirror reflections from before.
In the Hall of Mirrors, the reflections revealed glimpses into the lives of different people, each mirror telling a distinct story.
The first mirror showed a king, regal and commanding, seated on a grand throne. His eyes were filled with sorrow as his most trusted advisor whispered in his ear, the scene unfolding into a moment of betrayal that led to his downfall.
The second mirror depicted a young girl in a school uniform, her eyes hollow with despair. Bullied relentlessly by her peers, she sat alone in her room, writing a final, tear-stained letter before the tragic act of taking her own life.
The third mirror reflected a soldier on a battlefield, his face etched with fear and determination. Amidst the chaos of war, he charged forward, only to be struck down, his final moments a testament to his bravery and sacrifice.
The fourth mirror showed an elderly woman, frail and weary, sitting by a hospital bed. She held the hand of her dying spouse, their love discernible even as she watched the life slowly fade from his eyes, her heart breaking with each passing second.
The fifth mirror displayed a young artist in a cluttered studio, surrounded by unfinished canvases. Despite his immense talent, the weight of unfulfilled dreams and harsh criticism led him to abandon his passion, his eyes reflecting a deep, haunting regret.
The sixth mirror showed a young boy in a dimly lit room, surrounded by towering stacks of books. His eyes, bright with curiosity, scanned an ancient tome. Despite his poverty-stricken life, his thirst for knowledge was unwavering. As the scene progressed, he aged, overcoming obstacles, and ultimately stood proudly in a cap and gown at a graduation ceremony, his face shining with hard-earned triumph.
Each mirror captured a profound moment of human experience, creating a mosaic art of sorrow, betrayal, bravery, love, regret, and success.
Bianca and her team saw different mirrors retelling and reflecting the lives of different people. It even came with audio as if they were watching it from a third-person perspective, kinda like a movie.
The Hall of Mirrors was also a mystical place as it even allowed them to filter out and choose the hear the sound that they wanted to hear. Because of that, the audio from the first mirror wouldn’t overlap with the second mirror as well as the rest of the mirrors in the Hall of Mirrors.

Kuroneko commented, “With how these mirrors showed the reflection of other people, I now feel that the challenge for the Equality Authority might not be as easy as it seemed. The weight that equality bears is something that cannot be easily estimated.”
Bianca responded resolutely, “Regardless of how difficult the challenge is, I still want to obtain the Equality Authority since it fits with my other superpowers. If I were to make my power equal with my opponent, I can easily defeat them since I have restoration and even creation.”
“I have a vast arsenal of weapons and power due to my creation superpower so I’d have an edge against anyone that has the same power level as I.”
While Bianca and her team were wandering in the Hall of Mirrors, it didn’t take them long enough to find the hand-held mirror which was a ticket to entering the Equality Authority’s challenge!
