Chapter 205: Equality Authority’s Threat To Weiss
Hearing GoldMiner’s speculation, Bianca was surprised and started to doubt if it was even possible to deactivate Weiss’ reality manipulation.

Even Winston, JordanPlayz, and Kuroneko were surprised since Weiss was very powerful due to his reality manipulation superpower. So if that superpower was deactivated, then wouldn’t they stand a chance against Weiss if they ever fought against him?

They didn’t have any hostility against Weiss and they were even grateful for him since he carried them in Cozy Vacation Life.

However, it’s the nature of life to surpass those at the top. Since Weiss was the strongest in Blue Star, a lot of people wanted to surpass him so that they could become the strongest.

If they could defeat Weiss, then that would prove that their team was the strongest.

After contemplating for a while, Bianca responded, “Theoretically, it should be possible for me to deactivate Weiss’ reality manipulation superpower. After all, our gap between power levels isn’t that large and since the Equality Authority is a rule-type authority, its quality is above a superpower.”

Bianca shrugged, “But if it did come to that, then I’m not certain if I can deactivate Weiss’ Game Over Retry Authority. If I can’t deactivate that, then he can just go back in time before I activated my Equality Authority. And he can return to whatever point in time he wanted.”

“Weiss’ Game Over Retry Authority can even allow him to choose whether to let us retain our memories or not. So we wouldn’t know if he had already gone back in time after I had used my Equality Authority in the previous timeline.”

Winston sighed, “No wonder Weiss is the strongest in Blue Star. His powers are too tricky to deal with. And besides, we still don’t know what his second superpower is. We also aren’t sure if he has all five authorities and not just two authorities in his arsenal.”

Kuroneko added, “If Weiss has more than two authorities, one of his authorities might be reality manipulation or something like that. So even if Bianca used her Equality Authority and deactivated Weiss’ reality manipulation superpower and Game Over Retry Authority, there is still another superpower as well as a few other authorities in his arsenal.”

Noticing that they got the wrong idea about her Equality Authority, Bianca further explained, “My Equality Authority is not limited to negating just the number of superpowers and authorities that I have. It essentially allows me to let myself and my opponent have equality regardless of the number of my opponent’s power.”

“The only reason why I only equalized one authority from GoldMiner is because he only has one. But even if GoldMiner has three authorities and I only have one, my Equality Authority can still prevent him from using three authorities.”

“But as Weiss had said, I can’t bite off more than I can chew. Weiss’ power is higher than mine so I can’t fully impose equality on him.”

“I can’t impose equality if the power gap is too wide and that’s the case with Weiss’ power. No matter how powerful a rule-type authority is, it still has its limits.”

“Even Weiss’ Game Over Retry Authority has its limits and as Weiss said, he is limited by energy. The same also applies to my Equality Authority. It takes energy to both activate and maintain it.”

After receiving Bianca’s clarification regarding her Equality Authority, Winston asked, “Can you impose equality on not only one target but also multiple?”

Bianca nodded, “Yes, I can. But it would take more energy than using it on only one target. The only case I’d ever use it is if I’ll play the role of support and use my Equality Authority to inflict debuffs against our opponents.”

“But if it’s a battle where I’m alone and I have to face a lot of enemies, it’s not practical since even if I let them have equal power with me, I’d still be defeated through numerical advantage.”

While they were fighting the wraiths, Alice informed Weiss while she was in admin spectator mode, “The Game AI relayed to me that after Bianca obtained her Equality Authority, she seemed to be plotting on using it against your reality manipulation superpower.”

“The Game AI eavesdropped on their conversation and they seemed to be interested if they could use the Equality Authority to prevent you from using your reality manipulation superpower and your Game Over Retry Authority.”

Hearing Alice’s words, Weiss became solemn as he immediately took his leave, “Ayame, you and the rest deal with the wraiths. I’m off to do something and I’ll meet you all back at the atrium.”

Without waiting for Ayame’s response, Weiss already left the musical theater. The wraiths couldn’t hinder him since he used his Barrier Authority to block their attacks.

In his room, Alice deactivated the admin spectator mode and relayed what the Game AI had told her.

Weiss replied, “I’m not surprised since Bianca is a gamer like Ayame. She is also very competitive so she wanted to defeat me so that she can prove herself as the strongest.”
