Chapter 232: Relying On Kayden’s Left Shoe For Navigation
Hearing GoldMiner’s boasting, Kayden shrugged, “That’s only if your control improved. But with your current control over it, you can’t turn ghosts and evil spirits into gold yet. You can only turn physical entities into gold.”

Knowing that Kayden was right, GoldMiner didn’t argue anymore and only acted as if he didn’t hear Kayden’s words.

He would prove that Kayden was wrong when he improved his control over his Midas Authority. It was a powerful combat-type authority that was even partially rule-type as it allowed him to turn everything he touched into gold.

It had a lot of potential as long as it was wielded by someone worthy. And as one of Ayame’s Dislord admins, it was impossible for GoldMiner to be incompetent.

Only the best of the best of Ayame’s fans could become her moderators. Furthermore, all of them were loyal to Ayame.

So if the Dislord admins were to become stronger and became the powerhouses of those top nations, they were still considered a force that Ayame could command if she ever wanted to.

After they defeated the ugly sculpture and obtained the three Ghost Fire Sapphires, Ayame asked Weiss, “What do we do next? Brother, do you have any suggestions?”

In response to Ayame’s question, Weiss shook his head, “Just play the game your way. Like I said before, I won’t interfere much and I’ll mostly act as a spectator. I’ll only interfere if it’s necessary.”

Hearing Weiss’ words, they knew that Weiss’ interference meant he would only use his Game Over Retry Authority to assist them.

Other than that, their gameplay on Cozy Vacation Life depended on their choices and Weiss won’t interfere with that.

Knowing Weiss’ intentions, Ayame didn’t insist since she only asked Weiss in order to see whether he had any plans in store for them or not.

After knowing that Weiss wouldn’t interfere, Ayame decided, “Like our plan from before, let’s go with completing the second main objective first. The first main objective will be the last objective that we will complete since it involves leaving Vacation Paradise Island.”

“If we leave Vacation Paradise Island, then we can complete the second main objective and third main objective.”

Winston nodded, “That’s true. But do we go in blind in our exploration of Windesburg Hotel? The hotel is larger than it seemed and although we have played several game sessions, we have barely explored the entirety of Windesburg Hotel.”

Bianca suggested, “Rather than going blind, how about we rely on Kayden’s luck? That guy can use his shoes to point to the next direction of our exploration until we find a forbidden area in Windesburg Hotel.”

Noticing the gazes of his teammates who seemed to be relying on him, Kayden sighed, “Fine, I’ll do it. I don’t think anyone in our team has a higher luck than me aside from Weiss. But since Weiss won’t interfere in our gameplay, then I’ll be the man for this job.”

Kayden didn’t disagree since like how his teammates trusted his luck, he also trusted his own luck since it was the reason behind his rise.

Kayden knew that it was due to his luck that he managed to meet Winston and Ayame and when he teamed up with those two, it was the time he started his rise.

So far, his luck hadn’t failed him yet. And even if it did, it was due to overusing his luck and relying on it too much.

Some problems couldn’t be solved by luck alone. But with their problem regarding navigation in the Windesburg Hotel which was at least ten times bigger than the average hotel, it could indeed be solved by his luck.

Relying on his luck for navigation was a lot more reliable than going blind. At least, his luck wouldn’t lead him to dangerous areas that were out of their league.

Receiving the golden shoe from GoldMiner, Kayden tried it on and it didn’t feel heavy when he walked. It had the same weight as his previous shoe so it didn’t feel weird when he wrote it.

Wearing the golden shoe on his left foot, Kayden commented, “This is the first time I have worn gold before.”

Listening to Kayden’s comment, GoldMiner chuckled, “And I bet you haven’t felt what it’s like to shit on a golden toilet.”

Kayden shook his head, “Of course not. While Kayden was bragging about how great his luck and shoe was, the live stream viewers were stunned!
