Chapter 245: Kenshi Vs Maze Guardian
Kayden and Winston, having watched the battle in awe, nodded in agreement.
“Incredible,” Winston murmured. “Your swordsmanship is unmatched.”
Kayden, still flipping his shoe for navigation, grinned. “With you on our side, Kenshi, even a kraken is nothing more than a huge ass octopus. As expected of the World’s Strongest Swordsman.”
After defeating the sea creatures, they continued along the beach until they found another mirror. This one led them back into the labyrinthine corridors of the maze.
The mirrors here were darker, their surfaces reflecting only shadows.
As they approached a particularly large mirror, a figure stepped out.
It was a towering guardian, its body made of shifting glass and mirrors, reflecting the trio’s images in a distorted manner.
“I am the Guardian of the Maze,” it intoned, its voice echoing menacingly. “To obtain the Mirror Authority and proceed, you must defeat me and complete the final challenge.”
Kenshi stepped forward, his sword ready. “I’ve already defeated a Kraken. Stand aside, or be wrecked and shattered into pieces.”
The Maze Guardian laughed, a harsh, grating sound. “You cannot defeat me with mere strength. Only by understanding the maze can you hope to pass.”
Winston’s Eye of Insight flared to life as he began to analyze the Guardian. “Kayden, stay back. Kenshi, I’ll guide you. We need to find its weak point.”
Kenshi nodded, his Sword Authority flaring as he unsummoned his holy blade and summoned a blade imbued with fire.
Kenshi dashed forward, aiming a powerful slash at the Maze Guardian.
The Maze Guardian shifted dimensions, and suddenly they were in a fiery landscape.
The heat was intense, and the ground beneath them cracked with molten lava. The oppressive heat made the air shimmer, and every breath felt like inhaling flames.
Kenshi’s fire sword clashed with the Maze Guardian’s mirror blade, sparks flying from the impact.
The Maze Guardian’s blade was not just a weapon but a part of its reflective nature, deflecting Kenshi’s attack with a blinding flash of light.
Indifferent, Kenshi adapted, switching to a sword of water to combat the intense heat.
As the Maze Guardian brought down its mirror blade once more, Kenshi parried with his water sword, steam hissing from the clash.
The Maze Guardian summoned a mirror, reflecting Kenshi’s attack and sending a powerful torrent of water back at him.
Kenshi reacted swiftly, creating a huge whirlpool with a sweeping motion of his sword, the vortex of water spinning towards the Maze Guardian.
However, the Maze Guardian’s mirror reflected the whirlpool, sending it back at Kenshi with even greater force. Kenshi’s eyes narrowed as he saw his own attack turned against him.
With a deft flick of his wrist, he sliced through the whirlpool, his water sword absorbing the elemental energy back into its blade. The water reformed around his sword, ready for the next attack.
Kenshi’s mind raced as he analyzed the Maze Guardian’s tactics. He knew he had to find a way to strike without giving the Guardian a chance to reflect his attacks.
He charged again, this time summoning a sword of wind. The blade shimmered with a translucent, ethereal glow, cutting through the air with a whispering hiss.
The Maze Guardian shifted dimensions once more, and they were suddenly in a desolate, frozen wasteland. Snow and ice covered the ground, and a biting wind howled through the air.
Kenshi’s wind sword was perfect for this environment, and he used it to his advantage. He moved with the speed and grace of the wind, striking at the Guardian from multiple angles.
Each slash of his wind sword sent gusts of razor-sharp air towards the Maze Guardian, but the Guardian’s mirror blade deflected them with ease.
Kenshi was relentless, his movements a blur as he danced around the Guardian, looking for an opening.
The Maze Guardian summoned more mirrors, each one reflecting his attacks back at him.

Kenshi adapted again, switching to a sword of earth. The blade was heavy and solid, imbued with the strength of the mountains.
He drove the sword into the ground, causing the earth to quake and fissures to open beneath the Maze Guardian. Rocks and boulders erupted from the ground, but the Guardian’s mirrors reflected them back at Kenshi.
Kenshi’s earth sword absorbed the reflected rocks and boulders, the energy feeding back into the blade. He used the absorbed energy to strengthen his attacks, driving the Maze Guardian back with powerful, earth-shattering strikes.
Despite the Guardian’s relentless defense, Kenshi’s unyielding determination and skill kept him on the offensive.
The Maze Guardian shifted dimensions yet again, and they found themselves in a lush, overgrown jungle.
The air was thick with humidity, and the sounds of wildlife filled the air.
Kenshi summoned a sword of light, the blade glowing with a radiant, purifying energy. He knew that light could cut through the Guardian’s reflections, but he needed to be precise.
He focused his energy, his movements becoming even more fluid and precise. Each strike with the light sword sent beams of radiant energy towards the Maze Guardian.
The mirrors reflected the beams, but Kenshi was ready. He absorbed the reflected light into his sword, channeling the energy back into his attacks.
As the battle raged on, Kenshi’s swordsmanship shone with unparalleled brilliance. His movements were a perfect blend of grace and power, his strikes both beautiful and deadly.
He switched between swords with seamless fluidity, adapting to each new environment the Maze Guardian created.
The Maze Guardian, sensing its growing vulnerability, summoned a massive mirror, reflecting all of Kenshi’s attacks at once.
Kenshi’s eyes narrowed as he saw the mirror’s reflection. He knew he had to find a way to bypass the mirror’s defense and strike at the Guardian’s weak point.
Winston, observing the battle with his Eye of Insight, noticed the Guardian’s protective stance. “Kenshi, aim for its left foot!” Winston shouted. “That’s its weak point!”
Kenshi nodded, his focus sharpening. He summoned a sword of lightning, the blade crackling with raw energy.
He dashed forward, his movements a blur, and struck at the Maze Guardian’s left foot!
