Chapter 259: Did You T-Posed In Your Dream?
While the live stream viewers were busy chatting with each other, the live stream mechanism adjusted their perception of time and before they knew it, the night had already passed.
It was currently daytime and it was the second day of Ayame and her team’s gameplay in Cozy Vacation Life.
When they woke up, Ayame and her team recalled what happened in their dreams and how they fought against the Eater of Dreams.
Of course, except for two of them which was none other than Kayden and Illya. The two of them didn’t encounter the Eater of Dreams in their dreamscape since the Eater of Dreams dared not go near them.
After they woke up, Ayame and her team knew that they needed to speedrun Windesburg Hotel and complete the second main objective.
However, Ayame and her team didn’t head to explore Windesburg Hotel but instead, they left Windesburg Hotel to eat breakfast. After all, they couldn’t rely on the hotel staff for their breakfast since those bastards would serve them human meat.
…
When they left Windesburg Hotel, they all met up outside and started to chat about their experiences as they headed to the ocean.
ProGamerXD was the first to speak up, boasting, “You guys can’t believe what happened! I literally used my Ship Authority to create a modern warship and blasted the army of the Eater of Dreams!”
JordanPlayz chuckled, adding, “And I summoned a leviathan to help us out. We turned the entire battlefield into an ocean war zone. My Trident of Poseidon’s Wrath created tidal waves that smashed those nightmare creatures to pieces. It was like being in a naval battle movie, but way cooler.”
Shirohige nodded appreciatively. “We had quite the musical showdown. I used my Mystical Soul Piano to conjure up powerful melodies that created barriers and offensive waves. Winston’s Eye of Insight was invaluable; he pointed out all the weaknesses. Together, we managed to outplay the Eater of Dreams with our harmony.”
Winston adjusted his imaginary glasses, a faint glow still lingering in his eyes. “Indeed. I could see the patterns in the Eater of Dreams’ attacks. With Shirohige’s music amplifying our abilities, we managed to pinpoint and exploit every vulnerability. It was intense, but we turned the tide with precision and teamwork.”
Winston added, “I didn’t even have to use my Mirror Authority and Shirohige easily handled it after I pinpointed the weaknesses and attack patterns of the Eater of Dreams.”
Ayame laughed, her voice filled with excitement. “Bianca and I had our own little showdown. I devoured the Eater of Dreams using my Gourmet Authority. Bianca’s Equality Authority leveled the playing field, making it possible for us to weaken and defeat that creature together. It was almost surreal, like a twisted cooking competition, but we came out on top.”
Bianca grinned, nodding in agreement. “That’s right. We balanced the scales and turned the Eater of Dreams’ power against itself. It was all about timing and synergy. Ayame’s ability to consume and grow stronger was the key. We ended up in a serene meadow after the battle, quite the contrast to the chaos.”
Kuroneko smirked, his dark eyes gleaming with satisfaction. “You think that’s impressive? I transformed the guide into Cerberus, the three-headed hellhound, using my dark magic. Together, we summoned an army from the Netherworld to counter the nightmare creatures.”
“And when things got really intense, I used the Dark Magic: Extinction Ray to obliterate the Eater of Dreams. The dreamscape turned into a tranquil meadow after that, a peaceful end to a chaotic fight.”
Kenshi added, his tone calm yet powerful. “GoldMiner and I had our hands full. I used my Sword Authority to summon various blades and performed Wind-Style Swordsmanship to slice through the nightmare creatures.”
“GoldMiner turned the Eater of Dreams and its minions into solid gold, then rained down golden bullets on them. Our final strike involved me using the Radiant Blade and GoldMiner smashing the Eater of Dreams with a massive golden hammer. It was a battle of sheer force and precision and we wiped the dust against the Eater of Dreams.”
GoldMiner laughed heartily, clapping Kenshi on the back. “Couldn’t have done it without your swords, Kenshi. Turning those creatures into gold and then smashing them felt incredibly satisfying. Our dreamscape turned into a peaceful landscape afterward. It’s amazing how we all had such different yet equally epic battles.”
As they walked towards the ocean, their voices carried on the wind, filled with excitement and camaraderie.
The battles in their dreams had tested their abilities and teamwork, but together they had overcome the nightmarish threat of the Eater of Dreams. Each member’s unique skills and strategies had shone through, showing just how powerful they were which ultimately led to their victory.
That might be the case for them, but Kayden and Illya looked confused as they never encountered the Eater of Dreams.
Kayden scratched his head, a puzzled expression on his face. “Uh, guys, what are you all talking about? We just slept and woke up. There was no Eater of Dreams or anything.”
Illya nodded in agreement, her brow furrowed in confusion. “Yeah, all this talk about battles and nightmares… we didn’t experience any of that. It was just a peaceful sleep for us.”
The others turned to look at them, equally perplexed by their response.
“You mean to say you didn’t encounter the Eater of Dreams?” Shirohige asked, disbelief evident in his voice.
Kayden shrugged. “Nope, nothing. We just had a normal night’s sleep. I guess we missed all the action.”
Illya chuckled softly. “Seems like we were left out of the nightmare invasion. Maybe the Eater of Dreams didn’t find us interesting enough to attack.”
The group exchanged glances, a mix of amusement and bewilderment. “Well, whatever the reason, I’m glad you two had a peaceful night,” Ayame said with a smile.

Kayden and Illya, still slightly baffled, joined the group as they continued toward the ocean, content with their uninterrupted rest while the others recounted their thrilling encounters.
After reading the comments from her live stream, Ayame soon discovered the reason for that, which made her chuckle as she joked to him, “Kayden, the live stream viewers asked if you T-posed in your dream and scared the Eater of Dreams shitless?”
