Chapter 307: Dispelling The Lost Mist
“Let’s finish this.”
Kuroneko’s voice resonated through the room, filled with the weight of the task that lay ahead. The rest of the team gathered around him, each of them understanding the gravity of the situation.
They had trained for this, bled for this, and now it was time to put everything they had learned to the test.
“All right,” Ayame said, her voice firm as she addressed the team. “We’ve come a long way to get to this point. We know what’s at stake, and we know what we have to do. Let’s give it everything we’ve got.”
Kuroneko nodded, taking a deep breath as he prepared himself for the immense task.
The dark magic spell he had mastered was unlike any he had ever cast before—an ancient incantation designed to banish the Lost Mist back to the Blue Box Realm, the realm of the Outer God known as the Blinded Beggar in a Blue Box.
The air around them grew heavy with anticipation, the weight of the impending ritual pressing down on them like a storm waiting to break.
Kuroneko moved to the center of the room, where they had prepared a ritual space.
The symbols of the spell had been meticulously inscribed on the floor, forming a complex pattern of dark magic runes.
The room itself was dimly lit, the shadows flickering and shifting as if alive, reacting to the powerful energies that were about to be unleashed.
Ayame, Bianca, and the rest of the team took their positions around the ritual circle, their expressions solemn. Each of them knew that this moment was crucial. There could be no mistakes, no hesitation.
“Remember,” Kuroneko said, his voice calm and focused, “this spell will require all of my concentration. I’ll need you all to protect me while I cast it. The Lost Mist won’t go quietly, and we can expect some resistance.”
Ayame nodded. “We’re ready for whatever comes our way. Just focus on the spell, and we’ll handle the rest.”
Kuroneko closed his eyes, centering himself as he began to channel the dark energy required for the spell.
He could feel the power of the ancient magic coursing through him, a cold, almost sentient force that whispered to him in a language as old as time itself.
The room darkened further as Kuroneko began the incantation, his voice low and resonant, echoing off the walls.
The runes on the floor glowed with a deep, ominous light, pulsing in time with his words. The very air seemed to thrum with energy, as if the island itself was holding its breath.
Outside, the Lost Mist began to react, swirling and churning as if sensing the threat to its existence.
The thick, oppressive fog that had plagued the island for so long seemed to grow denser, coiling around the island like a living thing.
Suddenly, the walls of the thatched hut trembled, and a deep, resonant sound echoed from the mist outside—a low, mournful wail that sent shivers down the spines of everyone present.
“It’s starting,” Bianca whispered, her grip tightening on her weapon. “Stay sharp, everyone.”
As Kuroneko’s chanting grew louder and more intense, the Lost Mist began to push back, as if trying to force its way into the hut.
The fog clawed at the walls, seeping through the cracks, desperate to stop the ritual that threatened to banish it.
Ayame and her team braced themselves as the mist began to manifest physical forms—dark, twisted creatures born from the very essence of the Outer God’s power.
These creatures, their forms barely distinguishable in the thick fog, moved with unnatural speed and ferocity, their eyes glowing with malevolent intent.
“Here they come!” Kayden shouted, his Rock Paper Scissors Authority at the ready. “Protect Kuroneko at all costs!”
The creatures lunged forward, their forms shifting and morphing as they attacked.
Ayame moved with lightning speed, her Tag Authority activated as she phased through the battlefield, tagging the creatures to weaken them. Each time she touched one, it faltered, its strength draining away as her authority took hold.
Bianca was beside her, using her Exchange Authority to swap places with the creatures, disorienting them and giving her teammates an opening to strike. Her mastery of the authority had grown significantly, allowing her to control the battlefield with precision.
Kenshi unleashed a flurry of strikes with his Sword of Time, each swing creating a ripple in the air as he sliced through the mist-born creatures. His Wind-Style Swordsmanship, combined with his Cut Authority, allowed him to dispatch the creatures with lethal efficiency.

JordanPlayz, wielding his Trident of Poseidon’s Wrath, summoned powerful waves of water that surged through the hut, crashing into the creatures and pushing them back.
The water’s purifying properties seemed to burn the mist-born creatures on contact, causing them to writhe in agony.
ProGamerXD, aboard the battleship he had summoned earlier, provided long-range support, firing cannonballs infused with his Shipwright Authority. The cannon fire tore through the mist, blasting away any creature that got too close to the hut.
Despite their efforts, the mist continued to press in, the creatures growing more frenzied as they realized the ritual was nearing completion
Kuroneko’s chanting reached a fever pitch, the dark magic swirling around him like a maelstrom.
Illya, in her true form, used her Gluttony Authority to devour the mist-born creatures that came too close, her tentacles wrapping around them and pulling them into her grotesque maw. Her presence was a terrifying sight, but it was necessary to keep the creatures at bay.
Ayame, seeing the relentless assault, knew they had to hold on just a little longer. “We’re almost there! Keep pushing them back!” she yelled, her voice cutting through the chaos.
The mist seemed to howl in anger as Kuroneko reached the final incantation.
The ground beneath them trembled as the Blue Box Realm began to open, a rift forming in the very fabric of reality.
The mist-born creatures screamed as they were pulled toward the rift, their forms unraveling as they were drawn back to the realm of the Blinded Beggar in a Blue Box!
