Chapter 38: Erasing The Five Gangsters’ Existence
Leaving his room, Weiss headed to Ayame’s room.

Twisting the doorknob on Ayame’s door, Weiss noticed that it was locked. However, he changed reality and made it so that Ayame’s door wasn’t locked.

With Ayame’s door no longer locked, Weiss barged inside Ayame’s room and as he expected, Ayame wasn’t there.

“If I wasn’t involved in this incident, I would have thought that Ayame was kidnapped by someone. After all, my and Ayame’s background is very powerful and the Shiro Clan and Albus Family have some enemies.”

Weiss commented as he observed Ayame’s room.

Unlike his room which was neat and tidy, Ayame’s room was quite messy as there were piled-up instant noodles and energy bar wrappers at the corner of the room.

From his memories, it was he who often cleaned Ayame’s room.

With a wave of his hand, Ayame’s room became clean as all of the garbage disappeared as well as the dust and garbage odor.

“In this world, Ayame is one of the most popular streamers and she mostly streams games. With her popularity, it will be a huge boost to Zombie Survival Online if she promotes it.”

“In the next update, I’ll allow streaming in Zombie Survival Online. Furthermore, streamers will receive rewards if they have obtained a lot of viewers watching their stream about Zombie Survival Online.”

“Completing the game or completing some side tasks in Zombie Survival Online will increase the quality of rewards obtained after becoming one of the top 3 survivors. So I can include streaming as one of the side tasks which can improve the quality of a streamer’s rewards.”

“As long as a streamer reached a certain amount of viewers, they can still obtain rewards despite not becoming one of the top 3 survivors.”

With that plan in mind, Weiss left Ayame’s room without locking it. Anyway, Ayame would know he entered her room since he had already cleaned her room.

From his memories, it wasn’t unusual for him to enter Ayame’s room since he often cleaned it due to Ayame being busy with her streams.

Like him, Ayame was also a shut-in. However, Weiss was in charge of doing house chores since Ayame was too lazy to do it.

Of course, Weiss was also not idle as from his memories, he often completed commissions in the dark web or even from the government when it came to hacking. He was a hacker who could wear all hats aside from the green hat (pun intended).

After leaving Ayame’s room, Weiss went to the staircase and descended from the second floor to the first floor.

Wearing his black hoodie, Weiss left the house and locked the door, “I still need to go shopping for vegetables and meat. So when Ayame returns, I can cook her lunch.”

Weiss walked in the streets with his wallet in his hoodie pocket.

Even if Weiss could create vegetables and meat or even fully cooked meals instantly with his reality manipulation, Weiss didn’t want to do it since that would take away his fun of living daily life.

In his past life, he lived alone in his house since he didn’t have any siblings. It was already his habit of either eating takeout or shopping for vegetables and meat so that he could cook for himself.

While Weiss was walking towards the supermarket, he heard some struggles and screams in a nearby alleyway.

Out of curiosity as well as boredom, Weiss muttered, “Might as well check,” as he headed to the alleyway with his hands tucked in his hoodie pockets.

When he arrived at the alleyway, Weiss saw five gangsters beating up a male teenager who was around two years younger than him.

With his reality manipulation, Weiss used it to obtain the information about them that was present in reality. So as soon as he saw them, Weiss already knew who they were and what happened before he arrived here.

Ainsley Spencer, the sixteen-year-old teenager being beaten up by those gangsters, had owed debts from those loan sharks. Those gangsters beating him up were the subordinates of those loan sharks.

As for why Ainsley owed debts, it was all due to borrowing money for his mother and sister since those two family members of his were ill. His mother was suffering from lung cancer while his younger sister was suffering from heart disease.

Ainsley’s father has already died so Ainsley could only work part-time but even that wasn’t enough so he could only resort to borrowing money from loan sharks.

When Weiss discovered that, he shook his head and sighed, ‘If the world is unfair for everyone, is the world fair then?”

‘Ainsley’s case is similar to a friend of mine in my past life. It doesn’t hurt to help him since I wouldn’t lose anything anyway.’

When Weiss made that decision, he walked towards those gangsters, and his hands were still tucked in his hoodie pockets.

When he arrived at the alleyway, both the gangsters and Ainsley didn’t notice his presence since Ainsley was in a hell lot of pain while the gangsters were focused on beating up Ainsley.

However, when Weiss got nearer to them, the gangsters heard the sound of Weiss’ footsteps.

Glancing at Weiss, one of the gangsters frowned and he threatened, “Leave here or else I’ll break your bones like this mutt here.”

One of the smarter gangsters didn’t threaten but explained and even suggested, “He borrowed money from us and didn’t pay so he deserves this beating. If you also want to borrow money, I can talk to my boss and let you two meet.”

The five gangsters weren’t that old and were in their early twenties. However, they were still older than Weiss and Ainsley.

However, in response to the gangsters’ words, Weiss just glanced at them.

When Weiss stared at them, the gangsters seemed to become transparent, seeming to phase out of existence.

Their body became illusory which frightened them. Noticing this change, they glared at Weiss who they deemed as the cause of this anomalous phenomenon, “What did you do?! Change us back to norma-”

Before the gangsters could spit out their threat, their bodies disappeared as if they didn’t exist in reality, much to the shock of Ainsley!
