Hearing Ayame reveal his superpower, Lex Morris, the right-hand man of Robert, wasn’t surprised. After all, he was the one who teleported Robert out of the underground laboratory to deal with Ayame’s charged space orb.

Robert’s superpowers were only poison manipulation and negation so it was impossible for him to appear directly outside the skyscraper which meant that Lex had used his ability to teleport Robert outside the skyscraper.

With a gesture to follow him, Lex headed toward one of the rooms inside the underground laboratory.

Ayame, Winston, and Bianca followed Lex. Even if Winston had confirmed that Lex didn’t lie, the three of them remained vigilant and they didn’t let their guard down.

Lex was familiar with it so he stepped forward and pressed his hand on a secret button on the wall. After the secret button was pressed, Lex leaned forward and a red laser scanned his eyes.

After he passed the retinal scanner, Lex dealt with other security measures such as facial recognition, fingerprint scanner, hand geometry, and voice recognition.

As expected, Lex passed all those security measures and the wall opened, revealing the interior.

But as soon as Lex passed those security measures, Ayame was startled as he heard a notification sound in her mind.
