Chapter 72: Ayame’s Second Superpower And Half-Step SS-rank Awakener
After an hour and a few minutes had passed, Ayame opened her eyes and she felt her power increased. In other words, she had successfully withstood the viral energy from the S-rank Perfect Evolution Crystal.

Her space manipulation was now at S-rank so she was a lot more powerful than when she was a B-rank Awakener. Unlike before when she could only destroy an entire street, Ayame could now destroy a city at her full power.

If she was serious, her sensory over space could cover the entire Fire City—the city where Bianca’s house was situated.

Anything covered by her space sensory, Ayame has control over it. For example, a building several kilometers away from her, she could crush it using the power of space as long as she could perceive it.

As soon as her space sensory covered the entire Fire City, Ayame noticed that aside from Bianca, none of the people in Fire City were awakeners.

After consuming the light blue crystal, Ayame experienced a different feeling compared to when she was increasing her power using evolution crystals.

When using the Second Awakener Ability Crystal, Ayame felt as if the viral energy in her body made another existence inside her body. It’s as if her body was a building, someone made another room inside it.

There wasn’t that much discomfort aside from the foreign feeling of having a new illusory appendage inside her body. It was only after she felt something was fully created inside her body that the foreign feeling had ended.
