Chapter 78: Alice’s Backstory
“However, the Goddess of Reincarnation didn’t abide by our deal and she wanted to keep me as her servant forever. Little did she know, I had already expected that outcome so when I was reincarnated into different worlds, I had stored my power in that world before I had died there.”

“In one million years, I had visited tens of thousands of worlds with varying power levels. The power I stored in every world I visited had allowed me to call upon all of them which I used to fight against the Goddess of Reincarnation.”

“Using god-slaying magic from a magic fantasy world that I have visited before, I killed the Goddess of Reincarnation.”

“But my story didn’t end there. The Goddess of Reincarnation was only a Type 4: Tier 1- False God existence. I didn’t want to replace the Goddess of Reincarnation so I went to a higher realm to improve my power.”

“I traveled the multiverse to not only become stronger but also to find and reunite with you. I had killed and sacrificed a lot but even after a hundred million years have passed, I still kept myself pure so that I can offer my first time to you.”

When Alice mentioned offering her first time to Weiss, she blushed with shyness which made her look more cute.

Weiss was moved by Alice’s dedication and love for him. He didn’t expect that even after Alice traveled the multiverse for a hundred million years, she still thought of him and remained pure.

“Don’t worry, Alice. I’ll make it up to you. Whatever you want, I will do it as long as it is within my bottom line.”

In response to Weiss’ words, Alice kissed Weiss and after parting, she answered, “I only want to be with you.”

“As I said before, I won’t allow you to have anyone other than me as your lover. But I won’t restrict your freedom and I will support you in whatever you do.”

“I love you, Weiss. Very much. Much more than what you can think.”

Alice confessed as her face was near Weiss. Their golden eyes stared at each other with longing and love.

Weiss could feel Alice’s warm breath whenever she spoke to him which made him feel intoxicated.

“I love you too, Alice.”

“I feel lucky to have you. I swear that I won’t find any other girls since only you can live in my heart.”

Hearing Weiss’ oath, Alice was relieved.

This was the reason why she endured everything just to get reunited with Weiss. Alice knew that Weiss was the one for her.

Even when she had reincarnated multiple times and had a lot of suitors, Alice rejected all of them. And when those suitors of hers attempted to rape her, she would kill and torture them.

After all, Alice’s love and obsession for Weiss are very strong. It was to the point that she always thought of him even after a hundred million years had passed.

Since Alice had dedicated herself to him, Weiss planned to return the favor and make it up to her. Anyway, Weiss loved her and Alice loved him, and that’s all he needed to know.

After cuddling with Alice for several minutes, Weiss was still confused about Alice’s past so he asked with concern, “Since you defeated a Type 4: Tier 1 Goddess, how come you are reduced to a system spirit?”

“Did something bad happen?”

When Weiss asked that question, his golden eyes were shown with killing intent. If Alice was bullied by higher existences and was left with no choice but to become a system spirit, Weiss didn’t care if those higher existences were gods who could destroy multiverses.

Even if they were an existence that could destroy omniverses, Weiss would take revenge against them on behalf of Alice. He was confident that if he was given enough time, he could surpass and usurp them.
