Chapter 394: Ready to Move
“Husband!”
“Jiang Chen!”
The five of them—Ji Ruxue, Ning Xian, Xie Xiaojing, Mu Tao, and Miao Xiaoru—called out at once. Then they all looked at each other and laughed.
They’d clearly grown close over time, like sisters who truly cared about one another.
Jiang Chen smiled quietly as he watched them. It was nice—seeing them get along so well. He figured the Eternal Vows Binding Ring probably helped bring them together that quickly.
Ning Xian looked him up and down, eyes wide. “You’ve gotten so powerful, Jiang Chen. It’s kind of amazing.”
Ji Ruxue let out a soft sigh. “I always mentioned I’d fight beside you… but you’re already way ahead.”
“I know what she means,” said Xie Xiaojing, frowning just a little. Her usual bright expression dimmed. “I used to think I was a genius, you know? But now—next to you—I feel kind of small. You’re growing so fast… will we still matter to you later on?”
Mu Tao and Miao Xiaoru flew over to him too. They smiled, but there was something else in their eyes—like awe mixed with a bit of doubt.
They admired him deeply. But it was hard not to feel left behind.
Jiang Chen looked at his wives with warmth in his eyes. “Don’t stress about it. Being strong isn’t everything—being smart matters just as much.”
“Sure, power is important in this world,” he said, “but wisdom? That’s just as valuable.”
He paused for a second, then continued, more serious now. “As long as I’m here, you don’t have to fight. You can help me in other ways. I’ve got the Immortal Martial Mustard Seed now—which means, in a way, I’m in charge of a whole world. It’s filled with people, and I’ll need you to help guide them.”
“I’ll handle the big stuff,” he added. “But I’m putting you in charge of the day-to-day. I trust you.”
Mu Tao’s eyes lit up. “Wait—we’re going to manage an entire world? The Immortal Martial Mustard Seed?”
The other four stared at Jiang Chen, surprised and moved all at once. He wasn’t just asking for help—he was handing them a huge responsibility, and trusting them to carry it.
He nodded. “Yeah. You’ll act on my behalf inside. Everyone living in that world will be depending on you.”
Ji Ruxue stepped forward without hesitation. “We’ll handle it.”
“You can count on us,” Ning Xian said, standing right beside her.
Xie Xiaojing, Mu Tao, and Miao Xiaoru all nodded too. They didn’t need to say anything more—the look in their eyes told they were all in.
Jiang Chen smiled. “I know you will. The people from the Immortal Martial Continent just got there, so it’s probably a little chaotic. Head in and get things under control. Use our people to help you organize things.”
He reached into his sleeve and pulled out five glowing jade stones, each pulsing with his energy. “Take these. My decree is inside—this’ll make sure everyone listens to you.”
Each of them took a jade stone.
“Got it!” they said together.
Then, hands linked, the five of them took off toward the sky. Moments later, they vanished into the space channel—on their way into the Immortal Martial Mustard Seed.
Inside his own body, Jiang Chen focused—and just like that, he could see everything happening inside the Immortal Martial Mustard Seed.
This world was his now.
From where he stood, he watched it all unfold.
The moment Ji Ruxue, Ning Xian, Xie Xiaojing, Mu Tao, and Miao Xiaoru arrived, they raised the jade stones he’d given them and announced their roles.
The response was instant—shock at first, followed by a wave of cheers.

Jiang Chen smiled faintly. Two of them are heaven-favored heroines, he thought. They’re going to blow everyone’s expectations out of the water.
Satisfied, he cut the link to the Immortal Martial Mustard Seed and pulled out his transmission jade token. He sent word to Sun Tianlin, setting up a meeting at the space node in the Pure Frost Domain.
Then he turned and headed toward Ying Luo’s location.
It didn’t take long. He found her on a green mountain, waiting for him.
“Big brother!” she shouted the second she saw him. “I brought back a ton of bodies—now make something tasty for me!”
She was already thinking about food.
While she was out hunting, she’d gotten so hungry she’d actually tried biting into a few demons and demonic beasts. But they tasted awful—so bad she almost cried. She’d spit them out immediately.
Ever since, she’d been looking forward to getting back to Jiang Chen—the only one who could turn their qi and blood energy into something she could actually enjoy.
Jiang Chen laughed and shook his head. “Alright, alright. Don’t worry, I’ll make something for you now. Where are the bodies?”
“Right here!” Ying Luo gave her body a little shake, and a bunch of storage rings came tumbling out.
She had eaten a few storage items along the way, but she had saved these ones to store all the bodies she had collected.
With a quick flick of his hand, Jiang Chen gathered up all the storage rings. He scanned them with his divine sense—and was a little surprised. There were over four hundred thousand demon and demonic beast corpses packed inside.
Not bad. Still, none of them were from the Transcendence realm. If any of those had shown up, he would’ve had to deal with them himself.
First things first—Nether Soul Crystals.
He dumped all the corpses out and got to work, pulling the crystals from the backs of the nether soul demons’ necks one by one.
Once that was done, he activated the Wordless Heavenly Jade. A moment later, a soft glow lit up around him as it began pulling all the leftover qi and blood energy out of the corpses.
The Wordless Heavenly Jade didn’t just absorb the energy—it refined it, turning it into something far more potent than regular qi and blood energy.
Jiang Chen held out a finger. Before he could even say anything, Ying Luo shrank her huge dragon body and curled herself around his hand.
She gave a happy cry as she wrapped herself around his fingertip—and then the energy hit her like a wave.
It poured out of Jiang Chen and into her in an instant.
By the time the Wordless Heavenly Jade had used up every last drop of energy, Ying Luo was glowing with power. Her cultivation had made a big leap forward—she was getting really close to reaching the Nirvana Peering realm.
“Mmm! So tasty! So satisfying!” she exclaimed, grinning wide, her bright dragon eyes curling with happiness.
Jiang Chen chuckled and handed the rings back to her. “Here, take these. You can snack on them later.”
“Okay!” she chirped, scooping them up in a flash.
As a Void White Dragon, she had a few rare talents—including one that let her store things in her body like a living storage artifact.
“Let’s go. Time to head for the Prosperous Stone Immortal Star,” Jiang Chen looked around. “The Spiritual Qi here is way too thin. If we stick around, it could slow down our cultivation.”
He held Ying Luo’s slender dragon body close as they flew off toward the Pure Frost Domain.
Not long after, Sun Tianlin showed up—with his full army of a million cultivators.
“Greetings, my Lord!” Sun Tianlin called out. He paused for a heartbeat, then quickly bowed low. He didn’t dare let his mind wander. Jiang Chen now held his life in his hands.
“Stand,” Jiang Chen said coolly, sweeping his gaze over them.
“Yes!” Sun Tianlin and his army straightened up right away, not daring to hesitate.
“The demon cleanup on the Immortal Martial Continent is almost done. My next stop is the Prosperous Stone Immortal Star.”
“I’ll open the spatial channel for you, my Lord!” Sun Tianlin jumped at the chance, eager to help—and eager to push the same plan. “With your strength and reputation, especially now that you’re in the Nirvana Peering realm, they’ll have no reason to turn you away.”
“Fine,” Jiang Chen shrugged, brushing off the flattery. “Everyone here has done their part in fighting the demon army. You’re all earned the right to return to the Prosperous Stone Immortal Star. Sun Tianlin, get your people ready. We’re moving out together.”
“Yes, but… there’s something I hesitate to bring up,” Sun Tianlin bowed again, his eyes flickering.
“Then don’t bring it up,” Jiang Chen cut in. He already knew what Sun Tianlin was about to say.
The demons’ plans for the Immortal Martial Continent were still unknown—no one could tell what they’d do next. Leaving behind a few guards was the safest move, and it would also help avoid issues with the Profound Jade Immortal Alliance.
Still, Jiang Chen had his own reason for taking the full army. He wanted them as a buffer—as insurance. If Sun Tianlin or his people tried anything once they landed, Jiang Chen could use the army as leverage.
He wasn’t naive. He knew Sun Tianlin wouldn’t let things go. Then again, Jiang Chen never planned to let him go either.
“Yes, my Lord,” Sun Tianlin bowed once more, his face stiff. He turned and started organizing the troops.
Right then, a strange feeling passed through the army. Even though they didn’t know the full story, many of them felt a sudden wave of gratitude toward Jiang Chen.
Whatever he was planning, they didn’t care. They just wanted out of this dead, barren place.
