Guide To Reign My Tycoon Husbands - Chapter 539
Chapter 539: Tug and pull
The onlookers thought that Luo Huian was only making things worse but that was until they saw Old Master Tang look at her with a pondering expression. After a short while, he sat up straight and asked, “You mean it? You really want me to help you out?”
Old Master Tang was not only depressed but also tired. These days he could no longer pay attention to his clinic, and if that wasn’t all, he was getting older and with so many new traditional practitioners opening their clinics, why would someone come to his clinic? The young ones didn’t trust this old man anymore. Thus, he was no longer as busy as he was in the past.
With nothing to do, his head was no longer as it was in the past.
His mind would often drift over to his daughter and soon he started coming to the railway station to wait for her. He would come to look for her every day and wait until the evening for his daughter to return. Unfortunately for him, no matter how long he waited, his daughter never returned and soon his thoughts started to trek down the wrong lane.
Having lost his daughter, his clinic, and his patients—what was he supposed to do?
His head was not in the right place and he didn’t know what to do anymore. Not to mention people mocked him all the time, calling him mad and a fool. He was just waiting for his daughter and not bothering anyone; why couldn’t they leave him be?
One thing led to another and soon Old Master Tang could no longer hold on. He lost his will to survive in this harsh world and was determined to let this sorry life come to an end.
Who would have thought that just when he thought that his life had no meaning, someone would come and tell him that he could help them out?
Old Master Tang didn’t need anyone to show him any kind of sympathy. What he wanted was someone to understand his situation and tell him that he would be fine.
Luo Huian heaved a sigh of relief when she saw that the old man had finally given up on his suicidal thoughts. Though the man was an S class hunter, she could see that he had some really great skills when it came to traditional medicines and medicinal cooking.
With this man’s help, she could help even more people who were infected with the gloom aura. Though her bakery was getting popular, not many people ate desserts every day. But the situation differed when it came to having a good meal every day.
If she was to open up a restaurant that sold medicinal cuisine, Luo Huian was certain that she would bring a much bigger change than she was doing at the moment. Though she no longer wanted to go back to the immortal realm, Luo Huian honestly wanted to bring some changes to this world.
“So you agree?” Luo Huian asked tentatively. The last thing she wanted was to push the old man a bit further, which might lead him to get even more upset.
The old man raised his head and said to her angrily, “Why are you already regretting it?”
“Of course not, I was just confirming,” Luo Huian shook her head almost immediately. From the looks of it, Old Master Tang was someone who had a really strong sense of pride.
She talked with the old man and then brought him back to the small apartment where he lived. Before leaving, she handed him some red bean cakes along with some pastries that she had made and told him to come to the bakery the next morning.
Old Master Tang naturally agreed. He was even more energetic after eating the desserts, which only relieved Luo Huian. As long as this old man was fine, she didn’t need to worry about anything.
She returned after dealing with Old Master Tang; however, as soon as she returned to the guild, she ran into Madam Han.
As soon as Luo Huian saw the woman, her head buzzed. She raised her hand and rubbed her forehead, feeling a tad bit annoyed. Before Madam Han could say anything, Luo Huian said to her, “I did not do anything, and if someone complained to you, I need to talk with them first.”
There were a lot of people who were against Luo Huian; thus, it was not uncommon for them to file complaints against Luo Huian in front of Madam Han. Thus, Luo Huian was more or less used to getting scolded every now and then by madam Han. Of course, only when she was in the wrong; if she wasn’t, then she had no desire to listen to this old woman’s nagging.
“You are thinking too much,” Madam Han’s lips twitched when she heard Luo Huian say that she needed to see the witness first before being accused. She then said to her, “I am here because I wanted to congratulate you.”
Luo Huian’s brows furrowed. “Congratulate me?”
“That’s right,” Madam Han nodded as she stated, “I just came back from the training room and it seems like you really did a good job. The dungeon spirit is not only willing to listen to the commands of Leader Qingling but she is no longer as violent as she was before. You have done a great favour to our guild.”
“Isn’t that a good thing?” Luo Huian questioned with a frown. If she did a favour to the guild, why was Madam Han looking for her as if she wanted to hurl a bunch of diatribes at her?
“Don’t worry, I am not here to scold you.”
“Are you sure?” Luo Huian asked as she walked past the woman. She had hardly taken a few steps when Yuanyuan came running. She pounced into Luo Huian’s arms and looked at her with an innocent expression. If not for the terrorised expression on the faces of those who were taking care of the little fox, she would have been fooled by her innocent expression. “Were you good?”
The little fox purred as she rubbed her face against Luo Huian’s face.
Seeing the two acting so close to one another, Madam Han was quite surprised; she saw that it was good enough that the dungeon spirit was willing to listen to Luo Qingling but it seemed like she underestimated Luo Huian’s skills. Compared to this fox’s obedience in front of Luo Qingling, she had to admit that the care and affection the little fox showed to Luo Huian was really different.
“I have to say that I am impressed.”
Luo Huian raised her head and turned to look at Madam Han, who was speaking to her. She parted her lips and was about to say that there was no need for her to be impressed by something so little; that was until she saw the woman bow in front of her.

“Why—what are you doing?” Luo Huian was stunned when she saw the woman act like that in front of her; she blinked her eyes and stepped back. “Why are you acting like this all of a sudden? What happened?” did something happen when she was gone? Or was this woman replaced by someone else?
“I just want to apologise for all the disrespect that I have shown you in the past few days. The skills that you have shown are something that I have never expected from someone in my entire life. When I think about how these skills could have been lost because of my foolishness, I just cannot help but blame myself—”
“Ack, what do you think you are doing?” Luo Huian pushed the woman who had pounced on her away from her but no matter how much she tried to push her away, the woman remained stuck to her. If not for the fact that Luo Huian knew that the woman was human and didn’t have special skills, she would have thought that she developed some new skills; how could she cling to her so tightly!
“Let go of me.”
However, not only did Madam Han not let go of Luo Huian, she clung onto her even tighter. She said, “I implore you to forget the things that I have said and done in the past. Make sure that you do not let anyone blow any useless farts in your ears against the Heavens’ knights guild, alright?”
“What is the meaning of this? just what do you think you are trying to do here?”
“We need your ability more than the rest!”
“What do you even mean!?” Luo Huian was stupefied by the actions of the woman; what did she mean? What did she mean by the rest? Who are the rest here?
“Alright,” Luo Qingling, who saw the tug-of-war between the two, was speechless. She knew that Madam Han was desperate but she never thought that she was this desperate.
