Chapter 1002: My aunt is my daughter.
Maybe?
“I am telling you it is a mistake!” Mo Qiang peered out of the prison when she heard the shrill voice of a young woman and two seconds later, she found a rather peculiar sight happening in front of her. Three young women, all holding the legs of a table were being carried inside the police station by the police officers.
They were crying and making a fuss while trying to hold this and that – The youngest one who must be around seventeen screamed and tugged at the strands of hair of the policewoman who was carrying her. “Why is she crying like a little child?” Xiao Jiao asked as she looked at the young woman who was flailing her arms and twisting her body.
She had never seen a woman acting like a child before-thus she was quite amused and curious, she watched Mo Shuren with rapt attention.
If not for the fact that her body was that of a sixteen-year-old, Mo Qiang was certain that she could have easily passed off a five-year-old with her spoiled antics.
“That’s what we call a classic example of spoiled brat,” Mo Qiang remarked as she watched the woman being dragged inside the police station.
“She is just upset that no one is listening to her and giving into her whims which is why she is acting like that-hoping that the officers would listen to her demands like her family.” “She is just now used to being ignored and treated as if she is a nobody.” “Let go of me!
Let go of me!” Mo Shuren screamed at the top of her lungs, unfortunately for her, she was no longer the niece of the prideful General Mo Yan.
Not to mention, her family had charges placed on their heads. So when she tried to find trouble with the police officer, they finally snapped.
Not to mention, Mo Shuren had caused them enough trouble during the entire ride.
She had screamed, hurled the legs of the table at their faces, including vomiting on their shoes and hands and she had fussed like a spoiled princess. They had had enough! The officers looked at one another before they nodded at one another, before letting go of their Mo Shuren and dropping her on the ground. Mo Shuren did not expect something like this to happen, she let out a shrill scream and flailed her arms to hold or catch onto something. But no one reached out to help her which led to Mo Shuren falling on the ground, right onto her bottom. “Uff,” Mo Qiang winced along with Xiao Jiao.
The expression of the two mirroring one another.
“That must have hurt, right?” “It must have,” the police officer who had taken refuge inside the prison also scrunched up her face in pain.
She said, “That cousin of yours must have caused a lot of trouble or else, she would not have been treated like that.” “She is no cousin of mine,” Mo Qiang refused to accept Mo Shuren as her cousin.
There was something really humiliating about having a crying, fussing, childish cousin. “Isn’t she the daughter of your aunt?” “Pfft, our family long separated.
Don’t you know they kicked us out the very day my mother was charged with the false accusations?” “Did something like that happen?” “What are you not aware of?” Mo Qiang asked feeling indignant all of a sudden.
She had a feeling that the old Mo family might have pretended to be something else behind their backs after kicking them out.
Sure enough, the expression of the police officer changed.
She frowned and said, “We never heard about anything like that-instead Madam Mo said that she was heartbroken because of what happened and what her daughter did..
she cried a lot back then.
She also said that she was embarrassed to have failed to raise her daughter properly-” “That old hag did!” Mo Qiang shouted causing the attention of the old Mo family to turn to her. When Mo Li saw Mo Qiang in the prison along with Master Guo and his wife-her eyes constricted. Damn!
She was still a step too slow.
She shouldn’t have listened to her husband and should have sent her daughter away ages ago.
As she raised her head, Mo Li’s gaze met with Mother Mo who glared at her.
Even though she did not say anything, her eyes were silently blaming Mo Li for not listening to her. Now they could only hope that this charge could be pressed on Mo Qiang’s head because there was no way they were going to take care of three genetically defective children.
Mother Mo was furious with the fact that her daughter’s inefficiency had led to the current situation.
She was simply humiliated over the fact that she was called to the police station over this matter.

‘If she had listened to me, then this would have never happened!’ Mother Mo thought as she walked over to the table where the head of the police station was sitting. Her eyes fell on Mo Yan who was sitting on the chair without looking up and her brows instinctively furrowed.
She was used to being treated with admiration and respect by Mo Yan.
Thus, her actions made Mother Mo feel as if she had been force-fed sour rock lemon. “Whats the matter with you?
A few years in the Dead Star and you have forgotten how to show respect to your mother?” Mother Mo sneered with a snarky voice. Mo Yan finally raised her head and turned to look at Mother Mo before saying, “It seems like Madam Mo has forgotten what she said on the day of my exile.” “You said my actions have brought shame to the Mo family, thus you asked me to forget that I ever had any family in the Imperial Star, at the same time you took even the last penny from my account under the pretext that I needed to pay for the damages that I have caused my young sisters.” ****************************************************** ***********
