She had zero interest in how the old Mo family was going to compensate Master Gao and his son, for what they had done even if handing all their wealth was not enough.  “Yes you can, Madam Yan,” Chief Zhao nodded.

Under normal circumstances, she would have asked Mo Yan to pay the compensation but after seeing the shameless antics of the Mo family, Chief Zhao sympathized with Mo Yan.  How could a family be so shameless?

Despite owning everything which was given to them by Mo Yan, they treated her like a rug under their feet.

She looked rather cheerful for someone who had to spend three hours in prison.  She turned and looked at Chief Zhao before saying, “I would like to have roasted Iron Boar meat next time, Chief!”  “Why?

Have you done something wrong?”  “No,” replied Mo Qiang with a sweet smile.

“I just have a lot of trust in my luck.

With how it has always been, I am confident that I will see you really soon.”  Chief Zhao: “…” She wanted to refute but you know what?

She also had a sort of trust in Mo Qiang’s luck.  On the other hand, Yin Fu who was rather worried about Mo Qiang was now no longer as worried as he was before – in fact, he sort of wished that his wife stayed inside the prison for a bit longer.

With a mutinous expression, he looked at Ling Che who looked back at him with a helpless expression on his face.

What are you doing here?” Yin Fu asked the mer with a pair of narrowed eyes.

He looked as unfriendly as possible.

“For what reason did you come here?

I don’t think that we have a relative like you.” He added in a subtle voice.  Shao Hui and Xie Jie were also eyeing Ling Che with an unfriendly gaze.  “Oh, please don’t look at me like that,” Ling Che raised his hands in the air as if surrendering.

“I indeed came to see your wife but-I don’t have any bad intentions.”  “A thief will never admit that he is at the bank to steal,” remarked Shao Hui and Yin Fu nodded as he eyed Ling Che with even more distaste.

Though this mer was not as pretty as Fu Qi Hong, that evil mer who was waiting to gobble his wife at the first chance presented to him -he was really pretty as well, with his caramel brown hair and gentle eyes.

In short, he was like the mer that his father-in-law dreamed of!  “No, no!

He did not know why the mers thought that he was here to steal their wife from them.

He helplessly said, “I am just here to ask Miss Qiang how to cook the chicken, fish as well as corn and potatoes.

I am Ling Che-” “You are that famous celebrity chef!” Shao Hui recognised Ling Che at once.

He pointed at him and said to others, “I know him, he is Ling Che.

He is one of the few S-class chefs.

He awakened when he was a young mer and ever since then he has won many awards and trophies.”  “Celebrity S-class chef?” Yin Fu slowly repeated the words as he looked at Ling Che and then turned his attention to Shao Hui who seemed a bit worried as well.  “How come you were allowed here?

It is illegal to trespass at our star you know?” Xie Jie was the one who spoke the harsh words causing Ling Che to flush red in shame.  “It’s not the fault of those who brought me here-I hid my identity from them.”  “So you fooled them?”  “I didn’t!

No,” Ling Che shook his head.

“I know that my identity is different from what I told those women but I have my reasons.

You should already know that as a S class chef, I can cook any beast meat and even remove the toxins but the purified beasts are completely different.”  “From the texture to the flavour, everything is different about the purified food ingredients and I cannot seem to fathom how to control the fire and spices.”  “I honestly just want to learn cooking skills from Miss Qiang and nothing else.”  They were not worried about that -But the fact that their wife farmed in the Dead Star!

If Ling Che found out that it was their wife who was behind the All Hail Mother Nature Site, what would happen?  Which idiot brought this trouble to their home!?  They better not let them catch them.
