Chapter 176 – Blood, Fire and Destruction
Not even ten minutes passed, and already the battlefield was chaos.
There were no formations, no strategy, not even chain of command.
Just pure instinct and raw power.
Yuki’s first strike had shattered the structure of this war, leaving only one thing: survival of the fittest.
Now it was instinct against instinct. Power against power.
And if it came down to personal strength, to raw skill—then truly, who could rival the ones Noah raised inside the Academy?
“HAHAHAHAHAHA! Come on! Let’s fucking fight until the end!”
Rouge Bloodheart roared as she launched herself into the army of elves. Blood surged around her like a crimson tide as she danced among them like a storm in human form.
Then she lifted her hand high—
“Blood Explosion!”
BOOOOMMM!
A massive blast echoed. Dozens fell, their blood spraying, spilling, running like rivers across the broken ground. And then… the blood moved.
It floated. Twisted.
And began crawling back to her.
“Ahh… aahhh… I love this… I fucking love this,” Rouge whispered, her body trembling, her expression one breath away from climax. Eyes shut, she didn’t even notice the red-haired elf charging behind her with a face twisted in fury.
“DIE, YOU MONSTER!”
SLASH—!
He brought his blade down, aiming to split her skull—
CLANK—!
A dagger met the blade mid-air.
A dark haired and blue-eyed man blocked the blow with casual ease.
Malrik.
He sighed and flicked his fingers toward the elf.
“Finger of Death.”
A spiral of black light shot out, piercing the elf’s skull with surgical precision.
THUD.
Dead. One shot. No mercy.
Malrik didn’t even spare the corpse a glance.
Instead, he turned to Rouge, who was just standing there flushed, staring at him with eyes full of… too many things.

“Rouge… you can’t zone out like that. This isn’t some solo act. It’s war,” he said, his voice flat, almost scolding.
But Rouge just grinned. “Hahaha! Don’t worry, I’ve got you, don’t I?”
Then without any other words she jumped right back in. Back into the blood. Back into the madness. Back where she belong.
Malrik chuckled under his breath. “You’re truly insane.”
Then he grinned.
“And I like this about you so…go wild, my dear. No one’s touching you.”
His voice dropped into something cold. Something ancient.
“Arise.”
The corpses twitched.
The elves around them watched in horror as the bodies of their comrades stood back up—undead, rotting, twisted into service.
“What the…?”
“A necromancer?! We’re fucked! Call the commander! CALL HIM NOW!”
But Malrik ignored their panic. He simply smirked.
“Kill anyone who dares to ambush my wife. Kill everything in your path.”
The undead lurched forward like a black tide tearing through the elf ranks like animals. Limbs flew. Screams rang out. Blood sprayed again.
But then, as if not satisfied—
A second wave rose as Malrik whispered again:
“Arise.”
Corpses from Rouge’s last massacre stood, blood still dripping.
This was why necromancers were nightmares on the battlefield.
They were truly unfair.
…
Meanwhile, in the very heart of this burning warzone—
The Stonehearts met.
Yuki’s Absolute Sword didn’t move Elijah one bit. He destroyed the space in front of him and turned it into a void, absorbed the blow, and kept sitting—unbothered, unfazed.
And now, he smirked at the two people in front of him.
“Oh? If it isn’t my darling brother and sister,” Elijah drawled, mockery thick in his voice. “What brings you here? A family reunion?”
Aiden shook his head. The smile on his face disappeared, replaced by a red fire blazing in his eyes. It was destructive, deep, and unforgiving.
“We’re here to end this cursed relationship between you and our family Elijah. We’re here to kill you.”
Aiden said coldly without any hesitation.
Elijah stared for a second. Then he sighed, shaking his head with genuine disappointment.
“What a delusional fool.” He muttered under his breath.
They truly didn’t understand. They never did. Elijah never showed them his true power. Not even when he tortured Patricia in front of the whole world. Not even when he fought Noah during the entrance test. He hadn’t gone all out back then—Noah, that bastard, hadn’t given him the chance.
But now?
“I suppose… I’ll show you a taste of my true power.”
Seated arrogantly on his throne of divine fire and holy light, Elijah slowly raised one hand into the air.
And just that gesture alone—
It made Aiden and Patricia freeze. Their hearts thundered. A chill ran down their spine. Something primal screamed inside them: Run, or you’ll die.
“Aiden!!! NOW!!!” Patricia shouted loudly in panic.
She activated her domain: Holy Territory, encasing the two of them in a barrier of pure divine power.
Aiden’s hand lit up in a profound red. And a sword of deep, red destruction fire appeared in his grasp—his own skill, Blade of Destruction.
Then he vanished.
He became a red blur, vanishing—
In a blink, he was in front of Elijah, sword aimed directly at his heart. Aimed with the intention to kill. No hesitation, no mercy.
But—
“You’ve improved, brother.”
Elijah’s voice was casual, cold and even dismissive.
“But do you think that’s enough?” He asked, his eyes mocking.
With his affinity to light, Elijah’s speed perception was off the charts. Aiden’s speed wasn’t slow—but it wasn’t fast enough for him.
That’s why Elijah didn’t even bother to stand.
Still seated,
He blocked Aiden’s strike with his free hand.
“Goddess’s Protection.”
A small, golden shield shimmered just above his chest.
CLANK—!
It held.
But Aiden’s eyes burned brighter. His eyes transformed into red molten fire.
“It’s not fucking over.” Aiden said coldly. His expression resolute.
Then—
“EXPLOSION!”
He detonated the Blade of Destruction—along with his own hand—right against Elijah’s chest.
BBOOOOOOOOMMMM!!
A wave of pure red fire roared out in every direction, a dome of obliteration.
“AHHH FUCK!! RUN!!” one of the bystanders screamed.
But it was useless.
The fire consumed everything, relentless and wild.
Pure destruction. Raw, unfiltered rage turned into a weapon.
And it was only the beginning.
