- Chapter 79 - 79 Chapter 79 I love you
79: Chapter 79: I love you 79: Chapter 79: I love you Chapter 79 Noah slowly retracted his powers, and the white realm returned to normal.
But Elira remained frozen, still in shock.
The power she had just felt from Noah… it was terrifying.
And this was him only at A-rank.
What about S-rank?
SS-rank?
What about Supreme?
Elira couldn’t help but shudder.
Even a being like her understood what anomaly Noah was.
No, it was more than just an understanding.
It was recognition.
The Akashic Records themselves had granted Noah the title: True Anomaly.
And that title was not given lightly.
Noah crouched down and gently took Elira’s hands in his.
His silver eyes looked at her with infinite tenderness and love.
“I didn’t want to scare you,” he said softly.
“I didn’t want to shock you either.” “I just wanted to show you…” He smiled warmly.
“That you have nothing to fear for me.
I know you asked me to become your champion because you wanted to protect me.” He chuckled gently.
“But how could I accept that?
How could I ever be worthy of the sole Soul Dragon if I cowered like a weakling?” He paused, his voice low and firm.
“So, let me fight, my dear dragon.
Let me fight for this world.” “Not because I’m some hero.” “I am no hero.” “But because this world is mine.” “I have claimed it.” “And I will not allow anyone to lay a single finger on it.” He tightened his grip around her hands.
“Do you believe in me?” he asked at last.
Elira stared deep into his soul, her white eyes gleaming.
She saw it-the unwavering love, the determination, the care.
She also saw the monstrous potential buried within him.
The overwhelming future he would bring.
And she made her choice, as a wife, as a woman in love, not just as a dragon.
‘Are you sure about this, Elira?’ A voice whispered in her mind.

‘Yes,’ she answered internally.
‘The council told you to find a champion not this.
A worthy one that will be tied down to us.” ‘The council wanted me to find a champion for the dragons… but he’s not just a champion.
He is my husband.’ ‘Isn’t that already enough?
He is already ours.’ ‘He will walk his own path.
And I will support him with everything I have.’ Her mind was made up.
She gazed deeply into Noah’s silver eyes.
“How could I not believe in my husband?” she said, her voice tender yet resolute.
“The one I chose?” She smiled.
“I won’t just believe in you.
I will stand beside you.
My power, my strength, my everything will be yours.” “I will do everything I can to help you take over this world.” Noah’s eyes widened slightly, surprised.
“Wait, Elira… are you sure?
I mean, if you want, you could still choose Alice as your champion.
I wouldn’t kill her anyway… just subdue her.” Elira chuckled, shaking her head.
“No, Noah.
I’ll take full responsibility.
They won’t know.
At worst, I’ll simply tell them I haven’t found anyone worthy yet.
It’ll buy us time.” She leaned in close, her lips brushing against his, a seductive glint in her eyes.
“So please…” she whispered, “be quick and conquer this world, my dear.” Then she kissed him-a deep, sensual, soul-stealing French kiss.
Noah responded immediately, their tongues intertwining passionately.
Wet, slurping sounds echoed in the realm.
Their kiss lasted for a full minute before they finally separated, a thin trail of saliva connecting their lips.
Noah looked at her, his heart pounding with warmth and love.
He smiled-bright, beautiful.
“I love you, Elira,” he said, his voice thick with emotion.
He could feel it-the immense love and devotion it took for her to abandon her race for a man she’d only known for a month.
Elira smiled stunningly back at him.
“I love you too, my dear.” [Elira’s feelings for you have reached 100%.] Then Noah smirked mischievously.
“How about we celebrate this moment by kidnapping the Saintess?” he suggested.
Elira mirrored his smirk.
“But of course, my dear.” Click-!
Elira snapped her fingers, and both of them vanished from the white realm.
… Meanwhile… While Noah was living out these intense moments, Sophie was struggling with her own battle.
In a secluded area of the academy, Sophie stood facing a group of second-year students.
Leading them was Luke Campbell-her cousin.
Sophie frowned, her voice icy.
“What are you doing?” Luke smirked.
“Why don’t you guess, dear cousin?” Sophie remained expressionless.
She knew talking was useless.
Words would solve nothing here.
Red lightning flickered around her.
Luke grinned, excitement dancing in his green eyes.
“Yes… fight me,” he said.
“Don’t cower, dear cousin.” His smile turned vicious.
“I’ll show you your place.
I’ll make you regret choosing Noah over me… back then and even now.” Sophie sighed internally.
So it was still about that… He hadn’t forgotten.
But she smiled slightly.
“I wonder…” she said coolly, “how Elijah would react if he heard about this?” Luke’s grin didn’t waver.
“Who would tell him?” “All these students obey me absolutely.” “And you?” he sneered.
“You won’t even have the chance.” “You’ll spend a long, long time in the medical center.
And when you crawl back out…” “I’ll put you right back there again.” Sophie stayed unfazed.
“Are you sure?” she asked.
“Or did you forget that my husband is Noah Weaverheart?” She smirked.
Luke laughed-a cruel, mocking laugh.
“Noah?
Hahaha!” “By now, he should already be dead.” He sneered.
“You think I’d be here if Noah was still around?
That monster?” He chuckled darkly.
“Our dear Elijah sent an S-rank assassin along with dozens of A-ranks to kill Noah during his mission.” He leaned closer, voice dripping with malice.
“Tell me, Sophie… you really think he survived?” BADUM-!
Sophie’s heart skipped a beat.
Her body trembled.
Her mind reeled.
S-rank?
Dozens of A-ranks?
Against Noah… an A-rank?
Her body shook even more, but she refused to accept it.
Because accepting it would mean accepting Noah’s death.
Her power erupted.
The sky darkened.
Red lightning crackled furiously.
Sophie let go.
“I will kill you,” she said, her voice a thunderclap, an imperial decree from an Empress herself.
She looked straight into Luke’s green eyes, hers burning red like molten steel.
Red lightning danced wildly around her, electrifying and scorching the air.
“I will kill all of you.” “No one will leave alive.” Her aura exploded even further.
Luke and the other students instinctively stepped back.
“Hey Luke, what’s going on?!” “Yeah, she’s not like what you told us!” Panic filled the group.
Luke’s face twisted, but he quickly barked, “She’s still just one!
We’re dozens!
What can she-” He didn’t get to finish.
A crimson bolt of lightning punched straight into his face, sending him flying like a broken doll.
BOOM-!
“ARGHH!” Luke screamed as he smashed into the cold, hard wall.
The other students turned mechanically toward Sophie, their faces pale in terror.
She stood there, red lightning crackling furiously around her, her presence overwhelming.
Raising her hand, she summoned a giant red lightning spear above them-large enough to obliterate all of them in one strike.
Without hesitation, she lowered her hand.
Her voice was cold.
Merciless.
“Die.” The spear descended.
