88: Chapter 88: Meeting with Laeh 88: Chapter 88: Meeting with Laeh Chapter 88: Meeting with Laeh Noah appeared in a strange realm.

A swirling sea of color extended endlessly in every direction-every hue imaginable flowing and dancing together in divine harmony, as if existence itself was painting in real time.

This was no ordinary place.

It was sacred.

It was Laeh’s domain-the personal space of the world’s will.

Suspended midair, legs crossed in a relaxed posture, sat a figure.

A young boy with green hair flowing softly, eyes glowing with ancient calm.

And on his face-a gentle, inviting smile.

“My lucky star,” Laeh said warmly, “we finally meet.” Noah’s muscles tensed.

Instinctively, his guard rose.

There was something unnatural about Laeh’s voice.

It was calm… but too calm.

Smooth, but carrying a weight he couldn’t quite measure.

It pressed on the soul-not maliciously, but overwhelmingly.

“…Who are you?” Noah asked, his tone sharp.

Laeh’s smile didn’t falter.

“No need to be nervous.

I would never harm my lucky star.

Not in a million years.” Noah narrowed his eyes.

“Why do you keep calling me that?

‘Lucky star’?” He had no idea who-or what-this being truly was.

But it clearly knew him.

“How could I not call you that?” Laeh chuckled softly.

“You’ve created an entirely new race inside me.

You gave me peace of mind-no longer haunted by fear that the shadow might one day snap and destroy me.

You triggered the awakening of a celestial within me.

You even formed a new Forbidden Zone.” Each word was delivered with quiet pride.

“All of that strengthened me.

You’ve made me more.

So yes, Noah Weaverheart… you are my lucky star.” BADUM-!

Noah’s heart skipped a beat.

Literally.  No way.

It couldn’t be… “…Are you… the world?” he asked awkwardly.

Laeh laughed softly.

“Yes.

I am Laeh.

The will of this world itself.” He gave a graceful nod.

“It’s good to finally meet you, Noah Weaverheart.” Noah blinked, still stunned.

A world will.

The world.

Sentient.

Speaking.

Smiling at him.

That wasn’t just rare-it was unprecedented.

Because no one in this world ever met Laeh in person.

They might know his existence, but to meet Laeh, he has to acknowledge you first.  And it’s not easy to gain the acknowledgment of a world.  So… {Ding!} {EXCEPTIONAL!} {You are the first being in the world of Laeh to lay eyes on its will.} {Title acquired: Loved by Laeh} {Current State of Existence: 4800} {Next Threshold: 5000} The Akashic Record chimed quietly in the back of his mind.

But Noah barely glanced at it.

His focus was fully on Laeh.

“It’s… an honor,” he said, bowing slightly.

“To meet the world itself.” Laeh’s grin widened.

“Indeed it is.

But I like you, so it’s only natural.” He puffed his chest slightly with mock pride.

Noah smiled faintly, starting to get a feel for Laeh’s playful temperament.

Then the world’s will grew serious.

“Let’s get to why you’re here,” Laeh said, his voice deepening.

“I’ve seen your actions.

How openly you oppose Elijah.

How carefully you’ve prepared.

But I still must ask you, directly-” He paused.

The air around them shimmered.

“Are you truly ready?

To go against Elijah… and the celestial backing him?

Ready to face them all?” Noah’s eyes hardened.

His voice was steady.

“Yes.

I’m ready.” Laeh nodded, pleased.

But his expression remained grave.

“Then you should know-Elijah is not the only one.” Noah nodded calmly, unsurprised.

“Oh?” Laeh blinked.

“You already know?

How interesting.” He didn’t realize Elira had already told Noah this.

Her realm remained invisible to even Laeh’s perception.

Still, he continued.

“Then you know-killing them won’t be easy.

Their guardians won’t allow it.

Especially the celestial.

She’s… fixated on him.” Noah tilted his head.

“How many champions exist in total?” “Laeh has three,” Laeh replied.

“Elijah… and two others.

An elf.

And a beastman.” Two more?

“Who backs them?” Noah asked.

“Their own kind,” Laeh said.

“There are higher elves.

Divine beasts.

Powerful factions existing in this vast universe.” Noah exhaled slowly, processing.

This would get… messy.

“You wouldn’t have brought me here just to dump bad news,” he said.

“So-what’s your solution?” Laeh smiled faintly.

“Ah… sharp as ever.” “There are three paths you could take.” Noah listened, focused.

“First,” Laeh said, “the dragons.

Elira already favors you.

With her support, you could gain full control over this world.

And in doing so… you could keep me out of those endless cosmic wars.” “Second,” he continued, “the demons.

They’re desperate.

Leaderless.

Looking for a champion.

If you play your cards right, you could claim that title-and earn massive benefits.” Noah nodded along.

So far, expected options.

“And the third?” he asked.

Here, Laeh hesitated.

Then smirked.

“I’ve been watching you, my lucky star.

And I noticed… you’re very arrogant.” Noah arched a brow.

“So, knowing that, I prepared a third option.

One that suits your kind of madness.” Laeh’s tone dropped, almost reverent.

“I will bless you.” “I will bind your life to mine.

So long as I live, you cannot die within my world.” His green eyes burned.

“Even if your heart stops, your body breaks, your soul shatters-you’ll live.

Immortal.

In this world.” “But I can’t give you more than that.

No divine powers.

No guardian magic.

Just this: a guarantee that death will never take you-unless I fall first.” Silence followed.

Then Noah smiled.

No.

He grinned-devilishly.

“…That’s more than enough.” He stepped forward slightly, his voice low, confident.

“Do you know why?” he asked calmly.  Their eyes met-silver and green, sharp as blades.

Laeh’s smile twitched.

“…Because you’ll be able to go all out without fear.” Noah laughed lightly.

“Exactly.” They looked at one another for a moment.

Then both grinned.

Not kindly.

But wickedly.

“Then go,” Laeh said.

“Go all out, my lucky star.

I’ll hold this world up for you.” “Show them what a pure being of my world can do.” “Show them we don’t need divine scraps to protect our home.” Noah’s grin widened.

“Just watch me.” {Ding!} {EXCEPTIONAL!} {Your title, Loved by Laeh, has been upgraded.} {New title: Blessed by Laeh.} {Current state of existence: 4900.} {Next threshold: 5000.} -End of Chapter 88-
