Chapter 103: ~Intermission~ Gwen’s Decision
Woodhull Private Hospital – Meteor City
Dark Elf lounged by the window as the glow of the rising sun warmed her brown skin.
… crunch────CRUNCH!!
A bag of chips crinkled softly in her hand as she pulled another one out, then tossed it into her mouth. Her half-lidded, scarlet eyes drifted lazily toward Gwen, who sat cross-legged on the hospital bed as she fiddled with the hem of her blanket.
“So…”
Gwen was hesitant to finish the little story she was telling Dark Elf.
“After that fight at school, I… well, I wasn’t sure about Scott as a person. So, right after, I rejected him in the harshest way possible, and it left him really broken for a long time.”
Her head went low in shame.
“I… I really don’t want to talk about it.”
There was a look of pain and sadness on her face—like if she had the chance, she’d go back in time just to hold him close and kiss him.
Lately, that’s all she could think about.
“But… to be honest… I’m not even sure if I want to be with Scott anymore.”
Dark Elf paused mid-chew.
One of her elegant brows arched slightly.
She swallowed with her usual unreadable face.
“Hm? How does that make sense? You’re always going on about how much you love him, so how does that even work? Love him so much that it confuses you, but now you’re unsure you want to be with him? That logic’s giving me whiplash.”
She punctuated her dull-voiced words by tossing another chip into her mouth.
Gwen straightened up as her cheeks flushed.
“No, no, no, you’re getting it wrong!”
She waved her hands in front of her like she was swatting away a cloud of judgment.
It seemed like she was scared people might misunderstand how much she loved Scott. She didn’t want them to only see her as the girl who bullied and turned him away when he was at his lowest. She wanted everyone to see how deeply in love she was with him.
『Yes… that’s what I want…』
She tried to talk, but no words could come out.
At least… not yet.
『I really want people to know how I feel about him… that I’m the girl who would snatch his sweaty gym clothes and sniff them every night. The same one who shamelessly licks the hot saliva off his face whenever he’s drooling in his sleep. The same girl that… that ran through six physics tutors just so she could talk with him more than Maya. The same girl who’s so addicted to being next to him her crotch feels hot when she touches his skin, and she feels the crazy, compulsive need to touch and rub herself like a disgusting, sex-crazed animal whenever she takes in a deep sniff of his manly scent.』
Gwen’s eyes go wide a bit.
『How can I freely think this without feeling any shame? And worse… why do I suddenly feel wet down there…』
Gwen glanced stylishly at the Dark Elf, waiting for the perfect moment when she thought the lady wasn’t paying attention.
Quickly and quietly, she lifted her hospital gown as her eyes darted down to her plain, gray panties.
They were soaked through, so much that her girly juices had started dripping onto the hospital bed beneath her ass.

『It’s a mess down there… ahh~ story of my life. It’s almost as good as when I thought of myself sucking and blowing his uncircumcised penis like it was a balloon, only for him to ejaculate like he’s a baker using his foreskin meat as a makeshift icing piping bag on my mouth… the cake.』
For some reason, her mouth was already open.
『But we both know his penis is definitely circumcised, ahem, after all, I’ve seen it, keke!』
Biting her lip, she slipped a finger under the waistband of her snug panties and slowly stretched them down, just enough to expose her throbbing, pink lips that wouldn’t stop getting wetter by the second.
『I’ll just do a little bit more…』
She was just about to start rubbing herself like a cleaner scrubbing against a dirty wall.
She was desperate to relieve the maddening itch.
But then, she froze in place.
Why?
Because the Dark Elf’s sudden voice cut through the air like a blade, catching her completely off guard.
“Are you masturbating?”
Gwen’s face turned pale. “Uhhhh… nope?”
“Then why are your fingers down there?”
“Becaaaauuuuse… I was counting how many hairs I have down there.”
“…”
“It’s clean though!”
Gwen immediately removed her hand and flashed them for Dark Elf──her own way of telling her she hadn’t done anything as they would’ve been wet and sticky by now.
“SEE──?!”
She was desperately waiting for a response from the assassin who seemed to have gone silent.
Shocked? Most definitely.
Dark Elf didn’t have any proper words to utter.
“Just focus on the conversation, Fingergirl.”
“Oh yeah, call me that…”
Gwen said, giving Dark Elf a heavy frown.
Suddenly, her face went serious again.
“It’s not that I don’t like him enough. It’s just… I’m not sure I’m the right person for him, you know?”
Her voice softened, and her gaze dropped to her lap.
“Scott’s got a really troubled past. He doesn’t even trust me enough to tell me about it. And honestly… I don’t want to demand it from him.”
Dark Elf sighed as her head tilted to rest against the window frame as she grabbed another chip.
“Have you ever asked him about his past before and he told you no?”
She wanted to know yet sounded so disinterested.
“No…”
Gwen mumbled as her face turned redder.
The sound of a loud smack echoed through the room as Dark Elf slapped her palm over her face. She let out a deep, exasperated sigh, then dragged her hand down her pale features.
“Seriously? Gwendolyn, there was this philosopher… or maybe it was an actor, who said something like, ‘If you’re hungry, eat. If you’re tired, sleep. If you’re angry, vent.’ Basically, life’s easier if you stop overthinking and just act on the moment. If you wanna know about Scott’s past, just ask him. Whatever answer he gives you will tell you exactly how he feels about you.”
Gwen frowned while her pale arms folded under her bouncing breasts as she thought.
“Huh… That might actually work…”
She tilted her head slightly.
“YEAH! If I just ask him outright, maybe I’ll understand him better.”
A small smile tugged at her lips.
“Yeah, I’ll do it.”
Dark Elf gave a slow, deliberate thumbs-up.
“Bingo.”
Gwen leaned forward and rested her chin on her palm as she grinned.
“You know, for someone who looks like they’ve never interacted with another human being in their life, you’re surprisingly good at giving relationship advice. I swear, I’ve been organizing my thoughts better just being around you.”
Dark Elf shrugged as the faintest twitch of a smirk graced her sexy, pink lips.
“I watch a lot of TV. I’m not antisocial or anything; I just never got a good enough chance to be born in a world where I was accepted. So instead of rejecting the world that rejected me, I’ve decided to ignore what deserves to be ignored and forget what deserves to be rejected.”
The place went silent.
Gwen’s mouth opened, then closed, unable to find the right words to reply.
Eventually, she smiled softly.
“I hope you won’t ignore or forget me.”
Dark Elf smiled faintly──infact it was so faint that it was very easy to miss.
“How could I ever do that to my How I Met Your Mother binge-watching partner?”
Gwen chuckled with a bright grin. “Ohohoho, I’d hug you if my legs weren’t still a little shaky.”
Dark Elf glanced down at her own slender feet, then knocked her heels together idly.
“Hmm, and I also don’t feel like standing either, so what do we—oh!”
Her face lit up as a rare spark of energy glowed through her usually dull features. She clapped a fist into her palm, the bag of chips nestled snugly between her thighs.
“I’ve got it!”
Gwen leaned forward, really intrigued.
“An idea for how we can show our friendship without moving? Sounds painfully lazy and a little sad…”
Dark Elf nodded solemnly. “It is.”
A sly smile crept onto Gwen’s lips.
“… But screw it, I’m in!”
Dark Elf nodded once.
There was something oddly cute about the way she moved her head while her scarlet eyes remained half-lidded and heavily disinterested.
She was like a tired owl.
“So…”
Dark Elf held up a chip and examined it like a jeweler inspecting a diamond.
“I have an idea.”
“Come on, say it already…”
Gwen perked up as pale blue eyes flashed with curiosity.
Dark Elf nodded, then held up the precariously stacked chips like they were a sacred artifact.
“Okay. I’ll throw this…”
She gestured at the chip tower.
“… and you’ll catch it with your mouth. It’s simple yet profound. Like a metaphor for trust.”
Gwen’s face lit up as she clapped her hands excitedly.
“Ooooh, I love when people do this on LoopVid! This is going to be so fun!”
Dark Elf’s expression didn’t change.
She just gave another one of her famous curt nods.
“On three, then.”
Gwen adjusted herself on the bed, sitting up straighter.
Her hands gripped the edges of the blanket as she opened her mouth wide like a baby bird waiting for its first meal.
“Alright! I’m ready!”
Dark Elf’s eyes flicked toward her target with the precision of a sniper.
“THREE!!”
The chip stack flew from Dark Elf’s hand with alarming velocity and sliced through the air like a ninja throwing star.
“MMMPH──!!”
Gwen’s eyes bulged like a panicking cartoon character as the stack slammed into her open mouth, immediately triggering her gag reflex. She gripped her throat while her face turned purple as she choked violently.
Dark Elf, entirely unfazed, clapped her hands slowly.
“Good effort…”
She didn’t sound impressed, but she was.
Meanwhile, flailed wildly as her muffled choking noises echoed through the room. She finally hacked up the chips in a violent cough, sending crumbs flying everywhere.
“GASP──WHAT THE HELL, ELF?!”
Gwen croaked, her voice hoarse as she gasped for air.
“I almost choked to death!”
Dark Elf tilted her head slightly, a single eyebrow raising.
“You were choking?”
“YES, I WAS CHOKING!”
Gwen slammed a fist on the bed.
“How did you not notice me turning PURPLE?! And what was that throw? Why didn’t you count down properly before yeeting that thing like it was a shuriken?! I swear I felt those chips stab the back of my throat!”
Dark Elf shrugged, popping another chip into her mouth.
She chewed slowly before replying.
“Oh, I get it now. The only thing you want stabbing the back of your throat is Scott’s penis, right?”
“Exactly!”
Gwen snapped without thinking.
“That’s like having a million-dollar steak in your mouth, so of course that’s the only thing I want cho—”
Her words froze in her throat as her eyes widened in horror.
She whipped her head toward Dark Elf.
“What the fuck, bro?!”
Gwen shouted as her face turned beet red.
“How did you know I was going to say that?!”
Dark Elf chewed another chip with a blank face.
“Last night, you were murmuring in your sleep about Scott’s ‘million-dollar penis.’ I couldn’t help but hear everything. There was one part about nibbling it like a Snickers and another about sucking it until it melted like a like a popsicle in her mouth as she lets him fuck the brakes ou—”
“OKAY, OKAY, OKAY!”
Gwen waved her hands frantically as her face now burned with embarrassment.
“You don’t have to narrate the whole damn thing! I WAS THERE TOO!”
Dark Elf shrugged again as her dull eyes drifted back to the window.
“If you say so.”
She hopped down from her perch and stretched lazily.
“Anyway, let’s go see this Scott guy.”
“Huh? What? Like, now?”
Gwen’s voice cracked as she clutched her blanket tighter.
Dark Elf nodded and retrieved a retractable sword from her pocket. She flicked it open with a single motion as the sharp blade gleamed in the morning light.
“Sure. The more time you waste here, the higher the chance some other woman’s stealing him. If he’s as great as you claim, that is.”
Gwen’s face fell, her grip tightening on the bedsheets.
“But Scott already has a woman…”
She could only mumble this to herself.
A war waged inside her.
One part of her wanted to respect the relationship Scott was in. But another, more selfish part wanted to fight for him, to prove she was the one he should be with.
Gwen just forced a laugh.
“Even if I wanted to go, I’m not getting discharged for another week, soooo…”
Dark Elf interrupted by silently pointing the sword toward the hallway.
“Not if I slaughter every doctor and nurse out there.”
“DON’T DO THAT!” Gwen shrieked, horrified.
Dark Elf chuckled softly.
Arare sound that caught Gwen completely off guard.
“Relax, I’m joking.”
Gwen’s jaw dropped. “Wait… you’re laughing?”
Dark Elf’s cheeks turned a faint shade of pink as she quickly looked away to clear her throat.
“That’ll be the last time.”
“NO WAY!”
Gwen gasped, slapping her hands over her cheeks like she’d just seen a baby hippo.
“Now you’re blushing?! That’s absolutely crazy!”
Dark Elf muttered something unintelligible and turned back toward the window.
She stuffed another chip into her mouth.
“I’m not… I don’t blush… you’re seeing things…”
“Tee-hee! Sure you’re not, Blushing Elf~ ❤️”
“I don’t think Fingergirl should be talking.”
“Ahhh──FUCK YOU!!”
